Yes... We just never say "it" in referance to the children... I'm only around eight-hundred years old...
Janani pushes her forefinger against her chin as she thinks, carefully. She could never use the word "it" to describe a child, but differernt cultures have different beliefs... She wonders how best to describe it. Her perspective is limited because her sexual maturity is very low in comparison to her appearance. Janani still has a very limited knowledge of everything their talking about. She understands that Mystina is pregnant and will be bearing a female child, but she knows naught much more.
...so I don't know much, actually...

*Mystina laughed* Oh, I'm guessing by your standards, you're young then? And, I see... Usually I refer to her as She ... I switch between them at times though...*Mystina smiled at her*
Is it anything like humans and faeries?

I suppose... We were all created the same way... Why?
As Janani asks this question, she fades out. She barely has time to whisper goodbye to Mystina. She knows, well enough by now, how it feels to slowly fade out from the Brink. This visit had been...interesting. In anycase, Janani would certainly not mind seeing Mystina and Lilly again. The Fae are fun to talk with.

If one person were to watch Janani appear, one would wonder if the Brink loves pulling pranks on the girl. She seems to fade in at the most inoppurtune times. She might be walking, paying no real attention to what's in front of her. The best, however, is when Janani is flying...like she is now...or was. She crashes into the floor, smashing a table on her way down...and a good distance from the other who appeared moments before. Quickly, Janani stands, rubbing her head.
That could have gone better...

Janani blinks as she turns to face Ichiro. She replaces her dazed expression with a smile. She then stands erect, fully displaying just how tall she is...being eight-foot tall and all. She almost beams as she introduces herself. It would not do to be rude, afterall. Janani does have to resist the urge to correct Ichiro in saying "Heaven", but she decides against that.
I am Janani Waystar Lunaris, Keeper of the Globe. To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?

Lt. Sato's exact phrasing doesn't make any sense to Janani as profanity is not something she really knows...let alone understands. She looks, bewildered and confused, as she tries to come up with an answer to the question. Of course...it doesn't help that some confusion about "the Globe" might be diswayed if Janani thought to tall Ichiro that it is Terra or Earth.
I mean naught rude...but how am I to answer your question, Lt. Sato?

By telling me WHY you're in this... whatever the hell this place is? Like some creepy acid trip or somethin' out of some old video game or sci fi novel.

Acid? Creepy? Lt. Sato is loading up quite a few interesting questions in Janani's mind. She doesn't have a clue where she'd begin, so, instead, she decides to rephrase the original question Lt. Sato asked and answser it.
I do not know why I am here... Ours is not to reason why. Perhaps the Brink has a conciouness...and it's lonely?
Janani asks the last part not really towards Lt. Sato. As she looks around, it might be seen as if she were asking the place in which they now reside, if only for a short time. She, however, quickly realizes that she's being rude and returns her attention to Ichiro, smile and all.

Beautiful. I'm supposed to be at the allied front, holding back those Zonoic BASTARDS, and I'm suddenly wisked away to become some sentient celestial's play toy? I don't ******** think so.

I don't think the Brink is a Celestial...could be...but I've never heard of a Celestial that can house as if it were a realm...
What is it with Lt. Sato and her word choices? It's difficult to determine what, exactly, she's saying. Janani just has to think and hope that her replies make sense. She also wonders at that...word again. Why did it sound so wrong? It's almost like a screetching in her ears, so badly that she can't really tell what the word is. Shaking her head of that thought, Janani answers.
You can call me Janani... I'm a Celestial Shard... I guess you could call me an Angel, but that's a bit broad...I suppose.
