Future Pen watched quietly with Jade of KD's little run in. Chuckling softly she turned to the ground. "Looks like KD didn't change that much over time. funny how everyone is so gun-hoe about keeping the timeline in tact."

"And your not?"
Jade though excited that Pen was sitting and talking comfortably next to him, he couldn't help then feel that something was up.

"There is one thing I would love to change."
Pen unconsciously placed her hand on Jade's and he turned three shades of red.

"And...whats that?"

Pen clutched the hand and kept her head down. "...You"

Sapphire dragged Luciano to the playground bopping around the structures. She ducks into corners and over things as if trying to find something.

"Jeremy? Jereemmmy... Jeremy!"
She kept calling the name as if someone would come. "Uncle you need to help me find Jeremy!" she called over her shoulder as she kept searching.

Nari lay quietly on the grass, since everyone seemed to have gone off to discover more about the future. She was keeping her mind occupied by replaying the events of today until she noticed a male elf talking on his cell phone rather loudly not too far off. "But I just came from the labs....Everything was in order, and....but....Fine, fine. I will go and check with Peter again just for you. You truly are a hassle...No, please...." He sat on a bench about 10 yards away, his back facing her. 'Ha, that sounds just like...wait a minute--' Her eyes popped open, and she sat up as quickly as possible. She turned around, and sure enough, "Maximilian!" she yelled excitedly before realizing her actions. The man's voiced cease for a moment, and he turned around with a look of slight confusion on his face as he scanned the area. 'Oops.' She fell on her back and closed her eyes before he could see her. She wasn't sure if she should talk to him or not. If that really was him, he was probably being bossed around by her future self. 'Maybe I should just listen to this conversation for a bit...huh, I guess I hung onto my Maestro for all this time.'

Sabe stood there a little longer before he heard a yelp. He turned to his right to find Tracy standing there, still shocked by the sight of the back of Sabe's head. She put her hand over her mouth out of embarassment and tried to walk away. "Hey! Get back over here!" Sabe shouted. Tracy stopped in her tracks but didn't turn around. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" she pleaded out of shame. After a few seconds of no response, she turned back to Sabe.

Sabe was giving her a confused look. "Do I know you?" he asked. It was a genuine question, but Tracy's face reddened. This didn't clear anything up for him, but made him suspicious. "Look, no random strangers come up behind me, get scared of me like I'm some kind of freak, and get out of it alive," he threatened, raising his voice, "Now you better tell me who you are." There was a pause afterward.

"You hired me about a week ago. Like, a....personal assistant? You remember something like that, right?"
Sabe folded his arms and knit his eyebrows. "No."

Luciano watched Sapphire run amok looking for someone named Jeremy, "Um," he began but now Sapphire was too far away to say anything. He let out a sigh and he said, "It would help if I knew how he looked. . ." Luciano continued walking around, looking for a 'Jeremy'.

Meanwhile,

Michelle continued to be dragged through the castle-like building by a red haired Dark Elf named Jennifer. Jennifer waved to people, smiled and conversed with Michelle until they made it to the dining hall, where Colbur could be seen in a small crowd just talking to people. Jennifer stopped in the doorway, she looked over at Michelle and smiled, "My brother talks about Colbur ALL the time, but I have never had the chance to meet him! I'm always so busy with my family, and busy with my husband- But you already knew all of that," Michelle just nodded, not really sure what the hell Jennifer was talking about anyway, she replied, "Ummm. . . Yeah haha,. . I sure doooo. . ." Michelle looked harder at Jennifer,. . she started to see something familiar about her. .

Jade was a little taken aback by that comment. Did she mean they were a bad couple and they had a terrible life together. NO. That couldn't be it. What life they would have together be anything but wonderful.

"Aren't they cute though?" Future Pen looked over at the playground watching from afar the little girl trying to find her brother.

Jade snapped out of his heavy thinking and followed Pen's sight to his impression the most darling little girl. The girl had Pen's athleticism as she bounded about the playground, but that skin and blond hair... "Is she ours?"

"Does it look like it can be anyone else's?"

"Well I don't know, you could have...oof!" Pen escalated back to her more violent tendancy and wapped Jade in the gut for even thinking she would be unfaithful.

"Of course she is your daughter! And we had a son too. He is year older."
Pen dug in her bag to come up with a half folded paper with a doodle in bright crayon. The three figures were a little hard to distinguish so the lines with the names written out were helpful. The words scribbled were, "mom", "me, and "jeremy."

"....and dad?"

Pen lowered her head again. "She has never...met...her father."

Meanwhile...
The Jeremy Sapphire was trying to find was her older brother. Like her he was a half elf however unlike her ears that were pointed but half as long as a normal elf, his ears were rounded. He got his mother's skin and long dark hair however he had his dad's eyes and logic. He wasn't much of a rocket like Sapphire but he loves to talk.

Jeremy however was not at the play ground but covered in bruises and trying not to cry. A losing battle but he had to find someone before he could cry. Finding a familiar face by the sandpit he ran over on the verge of tears.

"Auntie! Auntie KD! I...I...saw....mommy...be taken by bad...people...we have to...save her!" Having said that he sat down in anguish trying to rub away the tears as they fell onto his lap.

(take note only one Pen is sitting with Jade across the playground.)

Tracy backed away as Sabe approached her, until the two bumped into Waffle, who was wearing a sheer silk nightgown as if it were normal clothing. Tracy immediately apologized to her and ducked out of Sabe's sight. He didn't go after her, but instead looked at Waffle in disdain. "You know your father wouldn't approve of that thing you're wearing. Is that a gown? It looks more like you wrapped yourself in a single piece of silk and called it clothing."

Waffle gave him a short laugh out of disbelief. "Are you kidding me? He's the one who gave it to me as a present. Y'know, from our wedding? That wasn't even that long ago."
"You? Married to me? You aren't even close to legal yet. Don't fool around with me."
"Excuse you? I'm 22. You're turning 33."
Sabe stared at her for a while, confused. Waffle rolled her eyes.
"Go downstairs and get a drink or something."
He stood there for a few moments before slowly walking down the stairs.

KD was caught off guard by the little boy, but hugged him back anyway.

"It is okay sweetie, we will find her..." She noticed he was bruised and without thinking began using a potion to heal the larger more painful looking ones.

"Who took her?"

Sabe was digging around the refrigerator until he pulled out what he wanted, an unopened bottle of vodka, from behind the vegetables. Yay! Good stuff! Whoever put this here sure knows his booze. he thought as looked at the label on the bottle. He took the cap off it and started chugging.

Meanwhile, Tracy and Waffle were chatting away about what's been going on.
"So what do you think her machine's going to do for us if we can't run it? She isn't even around to operate it!"
"Kassa still controls the machines. I've seen them working without anyone there. Even if she couldn't, that security guy that hung out with her knows how to work with it."
"That security 'guy' is a girl, you nitwit!"
"Ugh, whatever. Point is, the machine can put people back together again and fix things, including their brains. Do I need to remind you of the back of Sabe's head?"
"..."
There was a groan and then a long pause from Waffle.
"Do you think it'll fix 'em in the head too? Like, make him closer to normal and less of a weirdo?"
"Uh...."
Another pause.
"Yes?"
"Cool. You go press buttons while I go get that peanut-brain. I bet he's too sloshed to put up a fight by now."

Jeremy sniffled and tried his best to remember where the culprits went, rubbing the tears from his eyes, he began to say just what happened.

"I was playing....sniff.... when some kids pushed me.......sniffle..off the swings... so...whimper.... I ran to mom... and and and.. then these guys pulled up... and tried to grab me... and mom tackled me... away..... and they....and they.. and they..... took her that way!!!"
Jeremy started to bawl as he pointed in the direction of the van.

Sapphire had just climbed to the very top of the structure, which was not exactly meant to be climbed on, and spotted the figure of KD and a crying Jeremy.

"Uncle! I see Jeremy and Auntie!" Sapphire now happy she found her older brother, began to descend from the perch. She also spotted her mother talking to some man on the park bench which did seem weird to her. "Mom told us no to speak to strangers," she muttered as she jumped down.

KD held the boy has he cried... poor little thing, she thought.

"There, there... lets try and find some help." KD stood up scanning the playground for someone from the gang. Apparently I am good friends with this boys mother, I do not want to alarm him by asking weird questions. Pen! Future Pen should know who his mother is.

KD then spotted a little blonde girl running towards them with Luciano in close pursuit behind.

Sabe was putting the cap back on the bottle when he felt someone grab him by his scarf. He turned his head to see Waffle dragging him elsewhere. She grabbed the vodka out of his hands and set it elsewhere. He could only respond with incoherent blubbering and flailing.

Despite Sabe being as drunk as Waffle predicted, he and his flailing were hard for her to handle. Dammit Sabe, shouldn't you be like Jello 'cause you never thought about exercising lately? she thought before she got a fist to the face. She squarely hit the purple back of his head, making Sabe shriek and wail. He stopped fighting back. "Stop being such a p***y," she ordered as she now walked up the stairs, tugging her husband's ear at every step.

When they crossed the portal and got to the lab, it looked like Tracy was there, talking by herself. Weird. However, an extra voice was heard and it was made clearer that someone else was around. But who? Nobody else could be seen around there.

Koji had wandered off, just as the others had done, but only after noticing the amount of interactions with ones future self that were occurring in this park. It's not that he was worried about messing with the time line, Luciano did it and nothing seemed to change with him. Koji just didn't see the point in knowing how your life will play out. Seeing the end result is like reading the last chapter of a book when you're only two chapters in. If you already know what's going to happen, it makes all the filler in between much less fun to experience. There's no sense of adventure and excitement; life becomes predictable. So, in an attempt to avoid an encounter with his own future, he headed off in the direction of what used to be a coffee shop around the corner. He had no idea if it still was, (those kinds of places seem to go in and out of business like crazy) but he decided to check anyway.

~~Meanwhile~~

"Yes, sir, I understand.-- Yes I know, sir... excuse me? Hey! Don't you-- UGH! The b*****d hung up on me!" The dark-gray skinned elf slammed the phone down and spun around in her chair, then headed back to the front of the shop. Four or five people were looking around the gallery, another was standing impatiently at the counter. "Yes, ma'am, how may I help you?"
"I put in a request for a portrait last month, and I haven't heard any feedback. Can I at least see what progress the artist has made?"
"Ah.. well, you see.." Foxi stuttered, trying to pull for an excuse.
"Don't try to feed me some crazy lie either." She said, crossing her arms and glaring over the counter.
"Well, I actually have no idea where he is.." The woman gave her a look that read 'really? that's the story you're going with?'
"Honestly, I've tried calling his cell multiple times a day for the past week!" The woman rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Well if he ever gets back, tell him to get his a** in gear. This sort of treatment will get his shop closed down." And with that, she walked off. The curious customers who had been looking around the gallery awkwardly followed her after hearing her comment.
Foxi slammed her head down on the counter an grunted. "Dammit, Koji, where the hell are you?" She pulled out her phone and dialed the number for headquarters, knowing there was probably nothing new to report on the situation but it was all she had.

Nari continued to quietly listen to Max's conversation. "Why do you call me that, anyway?"
'Call you what?' she thought curiously. "I am not the only person who only listens to classical music. You know tha--...but...no, ma'am......Yes yes, I'll see you soon....Yes, I will remember to talk to Peter later. Bye now."
'Ahhh, that old argument. You will always be Maestro.' Nari smirked.
Max ended the call and placed his Blackberry in his right pocket. He sighed and grumbled to himself, "The things I do for this woman...why me."
'Oo, I smell a pay cut when I get back. Ha.'
"And yet, I can't help but to be drawn to her..."
'Oh? Maybe not. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to follow him.'
Max stood up and walked down the nearest path out of the park. When Nari was sure he was far enough away, she slowly stood up and walked through the grass to follow him.

Waffle's eyes darted around the room, looking for the source of the other voice until she saw the big screen on the wall. Apparently, Tracy was talking to the computer. The machine's responses were displayed as lines on the command-line interface, and accompanied by a computerized voice.
> Oh good. We have subjects.
"...there's only one person we plan on 'fixing'."
> No, you don't understand.
> Many are needed for testing purposes.
> Find other subject material and bring them here.
> As for Sabe, he stays.

Waffle recognized the voice (and poor grasp of English) as Kassa's. It disturbed her to think how she wound up as a part of a computer system, cyborg or not.
> Problem?
And now she was noticed. "Are there cameras in here or something? And why do you sound like the lab manager?" she asked. The computer spat out an answer.
> I am her, uploaded to the system through special machines.
> Same machines will be used on Sabe and other subjects for rebuild.
> Not now.
> Yes, there is a camera above screen, used to look around.

She didn't feel like talking back and hated the camera's observation, so she left the room. Tracy looked as if she wanted to discuss a few more things, but figured that it would only Sabe's upcoming 'treatment'.
------------------------------------

"No, no. He's not here only because he's busy. My husband's an engineer, you see," Colbur said as he talked to the small crowd at the party. A few asked about Koteki's former job. "Yes, he was the head of magic, but he resigned so he could study something more modern and.... relevant."

Colbur noticed someone important enter the room, backed by Serole's two security captains. "Uh...I'll be right back, my son-in-law's here," he said, excusing himself from the group and walking toward an older-looking Sabe. Sabe was in a jet black outfit, with a matching military coat but not without his favorite scarf wrapped around his neck. His face looks worn down and a little haggard; stress finally factored into his aging. Colbur greeted him with a hug.
"How are you? Outside of flights, I don't see you too much!"
"I'm fine. I just stopped to say hello and look for a friend of mine if he's around here somewhere..." Sabe replied, scanning the room for someone who might be helpful. His voice was deeper and raspier, but still recognizable. Sabe stopped looking and honed in on Michelle, who looked like she was talking to someone. He walked up to her, Colbur following close behind. The eyes of a number of people were drawn to the scene, wondering what the leader of a country would want to do with her. "You wouldn't happen to be Michelle, would you? Luciano's wife?"

Luciano walked with Sapphire to where Jeremy was, and as he walked over he heard the last bit of what was going on. 'What?!. . . Took who away?!' He thought, then he knelt down in front of KD and Jeremy, "Young man," he began, "Tell me what happened." Even though he wasn't really in a position to be finding anyone; He had little to no ammo left, and he was still very much injured from the last gun fight they were all in. But this was his family that Jeremy was talking about, so he knew action had to be taken.

Meawnhile,

Michelle gasped when she heard a man's voice speaking to her, but she felt VERY relieved when she saw who it was- 'What the crap?. . . Sabe?!- Damn! You look old!!' She thought then she said, "Yes! I am- Wait, huh?. . ." Jenny laughed and she said, "Hi, Sabe! Hello Colbur! Great to see you both! How've you two been?!- OH! Hey, Sabe, did you get my brother's letter? He wanted me to make sure you got it!"
