Prepare for my ridiculous money to gold logic. Ready? Donation letters= Roughly 5K in gold at release. That means that every 2.50 in US dollars is equal to about 5K in gold. The halo sells for something along the lines of 60,000,000 gold. So, 60,000,000/5000=12,000 12,000 x 2.50=25,000 So, A halo is theoretically worth 25,000 US dollars. Um, yay. Randomish, I've been thinking lately about if I ever won the lottery [some time in the future, when it's actually legal for me to buy tickets] how much I would give to Gaia. I determined that I'd flood the letter market with cheap letters (1 a head to prevent bulk buying and inflation by market whores) just to piss people off.

I swear it was the most disturbing thing ever. No, I don't mean skanking. Dirties. I learned the basics of swing from my mom, but refined my skills on my own. Er... skanking is dancing to ska music. Not messing about with trailerpark whores. ...I precieved that as the OTHER meaning of skanking. The one that involves the hurt and whores. I figured, hence the explanation.

Shoujo Phoenix Phoenix Goliathane Actually, that's $30,000. It wouldn't surprise me if someone actually did make that sum in gold from selling current letters. I still remember the dude from a year and a half back that posted in Q&F complaining how his order of 800 donation letters was screwed up. Yeah. Sit on that and rotate. I was almost too flabbergasted to say anything. Then I realized that most of the nouveau riche at the time were wealthy enough IRL to donate large sums to Gaia. And then I lost all faith in the community. Also: Uh. gonk That sorta shattered what fragile little sensibilities I had. Hanging around you guys didn't leave many behind, but I still had a few. I totally remember that!! I remember it too...

And they'll be there for quite a while.
