Chibi Kawaii-chan Clearly you guys don't know how to wavedash if you think it's useless... ._. Who were you wavedashing with, Jiggly? I still love Marth's wavedash. I mean, it's the length as his smash. You can go backwards (or forwards) and f-smash at the same time. XD It's like a free hit. Being able to attack while moving is a great thing, and if you don't see how it's useful, well... you are BEYOND SALVATION!! Its Useless on some characters though. Link for example i do not know why you would Wavedash with him if you dont go far and its slow...But i Totally agree with you about Marths WaveDash.

I'm experimenting with it a bit, and it's not useless.
But it probably is the most useless advanced tech.
And don't diss the 'Puff. She kills.
@ Egg and Chosen: The power in wave-dashing is your ability to do it consecutively. One wave dash is about as useful as one A attack.

It's all irrelevant in the end since Wavedashing isn't going to be in Brawl. Though there will most likely be something new in Brawl that will be exploited eventually.

I can do consecutive wavedashes, I still don't really have a use for them. If they do have a use I think I'd agree with Tatsuman that it's the least useful of all the advanced techniques.

Of all the advanced techs, Edge-Hogging is easily my favorite. It feels so satisfying to kill someone with it. To do it, you grab onto the ledge while your opponent is off, then when they are coming back, roll onto the stage so you will be invincible. The game still thinks you are on the ledge until the rolling frames end, so they won't be able to grab the ledge and you'll be invincible.

@Eggness: Using it while running allows you to use a smash while still moving.
@Itakio: That one I didn't know. Short hopping is easily my favorite advanced tech.

I wonder if you can hold Smash Balls until another one appears, and then you could both use Final Smashes at the same time.
