"..Who cares? I do! It's glass, and it cut you pretty badly! " Maybe not THAT bad, but it was enough blood to to make her act quickly into jumping at healing it! "If I didn't anger you, this wouldn't have happened.." So as far as she seen it, it was one hundred percent her fault, and nothing she said would make her believe otherwise! A moment after the wound was healed, she would release her hand gently, the guilt remained in her eyes as she glanced away a moment, as if thinking, she needed to fix this, no matter what! Those who knew that angelic, sweet mother of hers might see the similarities in the two, Neptune's paranoia was certainly a shared and unfortunate trait she shared with her. Always feeling in some way responsible for something going wrong. It was then that she came up with the idea of their little date into the fair.
But Solaris was being to quiet, wasn't she? She MUST of been angry, and just tried to hide it.--or so she thought, when Solaris stood so suddenly, with enough force to send the chair she was sitting in to fly back, and collide to the floor leaving Neptune blinking in surprise! "Whoa! " She barely got a chance to really say anything before her hand was grabbed, and she was pulled along with her quickly retreating pace! "You don't have to rush! " Clearly she didn't seem to get what she was trying to hide by keeping her behind her, though it probably wouldn't work for to long. The second she stopped, Neptune would likely get a good look of that very red face of hers! As Azura so very well displayed, blushes didn't just vanish so quickly! "I do!" She responded with the same hushed tone as they made their quick retreat!
Poor Constantine would find that he would get no response in return, as he would see Marie with her arms and head over the table, a half eaten cookie in her hand, and completely sound asleep. Some kids got hyper from sugar, well, it seemed Marie put herself into a cookie coma and fell to sleep. Maybe a good thing for Constantine, at least he wouldn't have to be playing baby-sitter the whole time.

"..Excuse me! " Well, those two certainly didn't seem to even realize she was just about right in the doorway, when Solaris and Neptune came storming out. "I'm not here.." Clearly! She may as well not exist to them! "........" It was amazing her level of patience wasn't quite as great as her mothers, even while having put up with many irritating people in her absence. It would get better, eventually.. maybe? And that's when it actually hit her, they had rushed out so abruptly, she didn't really pay to close attention to who it was, til it hit her. Yes, even Layla had one of those days! Continuing forward, she opened the door to step inside, making her way through the hallway and eventually, there in the living room where a smile was quick to appear on her face. "Constantine! " If anyone could bring a smile after a long day of working to Layla's face, it was him. There was Marie there too, but she could see the little one was sleeping, which would cause her to lower her tone a little as she walked towards where he was sitting. "I missed you.." It had actually been quite some time since she last saw him at least. "I'm so relieved to see you safe...have you been okay? Have you seen your family yet? " She had yet to see hers herself, it was a wonder as to what their families were up to right now and where!

Constantine "Yeah, excuse you!" Solaris responded right back to her with an equal amount of sass, pushing past her. "My little brother's inside, go let out your frustrations with him!" Clearly she just didn't have the time to deal with the attitude! Though she would be open to sparring... if Layla demanded it. She wasn't one to turn down a fight! If not though, she'd continue on her way dragging along her date."So here you are." Constantine said, lifting up his cup from its saucer and taking a sip of his tea, which he had prepared alongside the cookies. "I knew you were coming, of course. I've watched your presence since--" He paused a moment, rethinking his words. "...I am aware of where everyone is, of course. My senses are finely honed. I did not mean to imply that I was focusing on you in particular." And yet it was so very obvious that he had been. "Me? I don't think my company is anything particularly noteworthy. Surely you missed my older sister more?" Everyone loved being around Solaris, she was quite the character, and very easy to get along with. She had a similar disposition to her father, but she was much more socially apt. "Though the feeling is mutual... I was anticipating when we may see each other again." Even for a refined man such as himself, he couldn't help that part of the reason for that was... not entirely pure. She was certainly the most attractive woman in their group--or at least, the most attractive while not being dangerous to even be around. Yes, perhaps there was one woman more physically appealing of those who had manifested as Mirages, but she was not the safest person to be around. "You expected otherwise?" Constantine's overwhelming magical power was well-known, and he was nearly as capable as his mother when it came to combat--and that was saying something. For as much as Solaris loved to remind everyone he was her little brother, she wasn't entirely sure she could win against him if they both went all out against each other. Her near-peerless physical prowess against his overwhelming magic--it would certainly be a close battle. "You shouldn't worry for my sake--I am more than capable of handling myself. If anything, I would worry more for you. Perhaps you should stay near me, so that I may see to your protection personally." And he could certainly manage it! Not that she was even close to defenseless herself. "I haven't. Solaris, Neptune, and I have until recently been hampering Shinra's attempts to reoccupy Midgar in Avalanche's absence. It appears they've given up for the moment at least, so we have some respite. As for my family... They're currently in the Forest Kingdom. Alongside them several of our peers, including Minerva, Ariel, my little brother, and others. If you'd like to visit, I'm certain I could get us access." Because obviously if the others were around them, she shouldn't feel the need to stay away if she didn't want to. "...Though for now I need to bring this one to bed." He said, placing his tea down and standing, easily lifting Marie's tiny form in his arms and hugging her against his chest as he turned towards the stairs. "Come, we can continue to converse. Marie is a very heavy sleeper. Oh, and take a cookie if you'd like. I made them." And if she enjoyed them, that would be even better.

"You realize he's not so little, don't you? He's practically an adult! " It made her feel so awkward, she didn't want others around to think something weird or creepy about her, and it wasn't exactly a secret to most of their little group that Layla held feelings stronger then that of a simple friendship with that 'little' brother of Solaris's! It was a secret to of course, him.
It was when she saw Constantine there, her face lit up in a smile. "So here I am.." She repeated in a playful tone, her head tilted ever so slightly in curiosity. "..Hm?...Oh! ..He,he..Of course. You're abilities to sense others is incredible..Though, you know..I wouldn't exactly mind if you focused on me only.." She winked at him! Layla wasn't a huge tease like her younger sister, but there were times she had to have a little fun too, especially when it involved Constantine."You think wrong! I missed the both of you, but I missed you much more.." Her tone had near instantly gone from that playful tease to a much more serious, sincere one. "I'm even more happier now that I know you are here. I can see you much more now! " Rather then being alone all the time after she closed the bar for the night, she wasn't exactly kept company by her distant siblings! One was always gone, the other locked away in her tech and computer world, or spying on their enemies. She had to give her some credit though, not that she ever would, just how risky her spy games were, that she never got herself caught. Layla certainly would not succeed in trying to hide her identity so well! "Asking me not to worry about you is a waste of breath, silly prince. " She said with a playful smile.As he went on, the faintest hint of pink made its way to her cheeks, and there was an almost to obvious little hint of excitement in her eyes. She was definitely her mother's daughter! "Oh,I would love to stay with you all the time..But i'm fine, as you know, I can quite well take a beating from anything that arises, as well as bring the beating to them..Some might say they need the protection.." She may of been a little to proud of her skills! Nothing was more satisficing then knocking down much larger men then herself. "By the time my mother returns to work, it will be much quieter.." She had them all SCARED of her. Well, mostly. There would always be irritating drunkards in the mix. "I see..wait, how did I not know this? " She ...really didn't know a thing about that. Sure, she arrived after the first attack on the city that Ephraim and Cissnei stopped, and sure, she may of been heavily occupied trying to save her mother's Seventh Heaven....but gosh, how did she not know THAT? "...If anything happens again, don't keep me in the dark, okay? I can definitely be of help.." She nodded softly, listening as he would go on to explain his family's whereabouts. "I see..I wonder how long they will be there. They seemed to have taken quite the vacation.." Just wear was the rest of them? She still had yet to see her own parents. "I think with all that's recently happened, according to you, it would be best that we stay here and wait for them to return." Their leave could be just what ShinRa was waiting for, after all! "Aww, she's so precious..Did you put her in a cookie coma again?" Most kids didn't have that affect, they would be jumping off the walls, yet Marie? She just fell asleep after she had to much sugar. It was to cute. "Oh, how could I resist. " Of course she wouldn't want to make him feel bad if she didn't take one, though of course, who didn't want a freshly baked cookie HE made? Probably no one ever. "Thank you! " She smiled, reaching down to pick up a cookie from the plate just as he began to head for the stairs, Layla following behind as she took a bite. The silly, enjoyable noise she made was like that of those who nearly died of happiness at the taste of yummy cookies. Okay, so she MAY of had a bit of a sweet tooth. Only speaking again after having swallowed the delicious cookie, Layla nodded to him approvingly! "As expected. These are the best.Don't bake to many, or I may need to go train for a few hours to work it off.." She joked, as if she would eat that many! It was tempting, though.

  That training might come sooner then Layla thought, when the sound of the front door slamming against the other side of the wall would likely catch the attention of the two, who would be on their way back down stairs by the time of Tina's happy arrival! It was...exactly what she didn't want to see, with how angry and frustrated she was, all due to Nyx's teasing, she was forced to see her nerdy sister who never chased a soul in her life, somehow married! And it didn't even bother her that that person was another woman, if she hadn't been so terrified to say so in front of Nyx, she would have clearly said how out of Nyx's league Hiyori was. How did she end up with someone like THAT? And yet....Tina couldn't find anyone to pay any kind of attention to her. Everything Nyx said to her was correct, despite her trying to put on a show of toughness, as if nothing bothered her. As soon as she was out of their rage, her anger really took off! The door of the mansion certainly experienced it, as did the wall the door handle hit into.."...Don't tell me..Are YOU TWO married now too?! What were you doing, coming down from the rooms like that? HMM? Ugh, forget it. I'm so annoyed! You don't deserve him..Why don't you go back to the bar you came from? There's plenty of guys there.." "..W-what?! ...Exactly what are you implying of me? You better think well on the next words you want to say to me, Tina. That was so out of line! Constantine isn't some object you can toy with, and I most certainly won't allow it. " Layla said seriously. "Oh! REALLY! What will you do? I do what I want! Constantine! Admit it, you like me more, don't you?! I'll prove just how good I am, and when I win, You will go on a date with me!!" "......No, that isn't a date, and it most certainly isn't the way to get attention romantically. I will not let you treat Constantine like some prize to be won. " "Oh just shut up, were going to the arena, You and I, SISTER. I'm going to defeat you, and Constantine will have only eyes for me! " ".....I'll accept this, if only to teach you a lesson. But I will not let you near him regardless of who wins. "

Constantine "I am aware you can take a beating, but I'd prefer avoiding that in serious situations. Though if you're implying I should be protecting your enemies, perhaps you're hoping for me to fight you in their stead. Is it that you'd like me to give you a thorough pounding?" Constantine replied with his usual regal air belying his interesting choice of words. "I suppose if you'd like me to put you on your knees so badly, I can't complain. ...Though on a serious note, it has been quite a while since we last sparred. I think you did manage to defeat me last time... Perhaps I shouldn't talk so highly of myself, or I'll be the one put on my knees." He said with an amused tone. For as capable as his magic was, he was far from invincible--even if he seemed it to many of his enemies. Layla was one of the few who could manage to break his defenses, and she was the one giving him a pounding when she did! "Well, if you need to train, I'm sure I could think of a good workout for us to-" His words were interrupted by the door being completely manhandled by the girl whose tiny size belied her impressive strength. He glanced over to her. "What did that door to you?" He asked, such a silly question sounding rather comedic in his typical regal tone. "You seem aggravated, Tina. How about a cookie?" She didn't seem to want a cookie, sadly. As she and Layla began to get into it, Constantine glanced between them a couple of times, before shrugging, taking a seat and summoning his tea, sipping it as he watched the back and forth. When he was asked to weigh in by Tina, she'd receive a nonchalant. "Hmm...? Hmm..." Which did little to answer her question, before he took another sip of tea. Well, he wasn't sure they were fighting over him exactly, but perhaps Tina was using that as fuel to start a fight and vent her frustrations. Still, it wasn't technically the first time he had been fought over, but this was certainly the first time he had been fought over by people he actually cared about. When it wasn't about status--him being the prince of two kingdoms--it was a little more interesting. "...Well, this certainly sounds like quite the show... I won't stop you two--I think it would be enjoyable to watch, but might I suggest we simply make use of the backyard, or the training room? I'd rather we stay near Marie in case she needs anything." Not that it would take him long to speed back here, but still, better safe than sorry. He was often delegated to babysitter for a reason, it seemed!

Layla seemed to fall silent for a moment, the surprised look in her eyes and the color to her cheeks was quite obvious. "..You may spend to much time with Reiner, I .-- I would advice you never to say those words to any other woman.." The more she spoke, the deeper shade of red her cheeks were becoming. One had to wonder, who's mind was in the gutter here? Reiner was so innocent, he tended to say things without realizing how they sounded, so she figured maybe Constantine was following him. Or maybe, it was the other way around? Reiner was the younger one! "......Oh gosh.." Was it getting hot in the room, or was it just her? The more he spoke, it was almost as if he was saying these things on purpose. But was he? She was really starting to feel very improper just becoming so flustered like this alone! Unlike Tina, she actually had a lot of respect for Constantine, and it wasn't just due to his royal status! "I--think I need another one of your cookies...! " And she was about to go march over to that plate of cookies sitting at the table, when the ever so rude entrance was made by her younger sister. "Do we not patch enough holes in this mansion? " What with the battles that sometimes broke out when enemies decided to just...barge in, there was likely a lot of repairs already done to it over the years Layla wasn't even aware of! "I'm really mad right now, you know! " SO mad, so frustrated, Nyx could win a award for how triggered she made her! Possibly more so then even SHE imagined! "I don't want a cookie.." She crossed her arms, only looking all that much more irritated! Probably not the best way to win over Constantine, was it? At her question, the answer she got didn't exactly improve her mood! "Hey! I'm talking to you, don't ignore me! " Tina's eyes locked onto the tea-sipping prince. How could he be so calm in this situation?! "Hmph..whatever. I wanted to do it at the Skystage area, but that's a long walk. SO we'll do it here, in the training room.Just don't complain if she gets woken up by explosions! " She began to turn, heading in the direction of the training room, Layla eventually turning to follow her, but with less enthusiasm as her sister who seemed SO fired up to duel her!

It's long absence of not being used in some time would come to a end, as the two girls stood a distance apart from one another,Layla's face wasn't quite showing the excitement and determination that her younger sister there was showing, even as it was, just a duel, she didn't find it very comfortable dueling against her sister, Tina was so immature, she might actually go overboard and hurt her own self. There was also the fact that she was much shorter and small figured, against Layla's fists.....
"This is just a simple spar, let's not over do-!! " Her words were cut off by the surge of electrical current striking her with what she guessed, was a very maxed Lightning spell, and it wasn't a weak version of it! It was enough that even Layla, caught so off guard and NOT ready, was thrown back a little just from the impact of the explosion! ....Yes, this was going to be SO fun.
"..Okay...That's it! If you want to play dirty, that's what we will do! " That seemed to catch Tina's attention, and the look on her face was one of regret. To late now, she did what she did, and there was no running from that if she wanted to win. Layla, much like her mother, was quite the force when it came to those fists of hers, her legs even more so. Tina would come to realize just how strong she was, with her speed, even she couldn't move quick enough before her legs were swept out from under her, causing her to slam down onto her back with enough force to knock the wind right out of her!

  The wind may of been knocked out of her, but she wasn't going to let that stop her, and as Layla stood there nearly over her, partially due to concern, it would be that caring heart of hers that would be her downfall! Lifting her leg suddenly, much quicker then Layla could process, she would feel the pain to her gut as she slammed it into her, with the power in that kick she used, it was clear how serious about winning she was! And all for the affection of a handsome prince! ---And the push of a certain dominant princess she fell so easily to!

Layla was NOT making herself look good today, and it was painful, more so then the physical pain she was feeling right now. Her pride was being destroyed by that cocky-headed younger sister of hers.But worse was who was watching. The look of her dropping to the floor after her great impact with the wall was rather humiliating, and that bar was not sounding so bad to go back to! "...I'm so glad you care about my life..." She said coldly, really. Tina was going all out, while Layla was so clearly NOT. Anyone with a brain could see she was being gentle, to gentle. Rather then letting it continue on for her to be further humiliated, Layla raised her hand, sitting there against the wall with the most uninterested, shamed look she may of ever had! "You..win. " She muttered quietly, fighting over a man was really not her style, despite how much it worried her that Tina there would actually manage to win his affection. "Ah-hahaha! Of COURSE I do! You're big bulky body is no match for my perfect form, and my even better speed! I'm just all around better then you in every way, and way, WAY more cuter! And now, this perfect girl is going to steal the prince, after all...only perfection should be with him.." She turned, tossing a lock of golden hair aside for extra show as she walked off, leaving her to sulk in her loss while she made her way to claim her 'prize'! "Oh, Constantiiiiine! My cute prince...Are you ready to go on a date with the most beautiful girl in all of Midgar?!"

ConstantineConstantine sat there in a white mass extended magically from the ground, using it as a seat of his creation as he watched the sisters duel, and what a swift duel it was indeed. Had he brought a cup of tea with him, he wouldn't have even had time to finish it! "...Goodness, Layla. I never expected to see you so utterly shamed at your little sister's hand. Tina must be much more powerful than you realized--you were simply no match for her." He said, standing as Tina made her way over to him. "Of course... how could I not be excited seeing you dominate your sister so effortlessly? It's safe to say I belong to you, now. ...Or rather that's-" It seemed like he was about to say something important, but he was interrupted before he could finish."Not so fast!" Came another's voice, known well to all three of the others gathered there, as Zane seemed to have been impressively quiet this entire time. Practically unheard of for him! "It's no secret Tina and Layla are two of the hottest girls around, and I've never been able to figure out which is hotter--until now! Tina totally destroyed Layla, and it wasn't even close! It's obvious she's the hottest girl--probably ever! Honestly, I can't believe I was so blind before!""...Are you an idiot?" Literally anyone with a functional brain could tell Layla was holding back and Tina was fighting with everything she had. That's exactly the point he was about to make before he was interrupted! It was no wonder Tina and Zane couldn't tell..."I know you're just as taken with Tina as I am now, but I won't let you take her! No, I challenge you! Just like they fought, so will we, and winner gets to take Tina on a date!""I would rather not.""What, you're so happy to see girls fight over you, but you won't man up and fight for one of them?! Scared I'll destroy you like I did your little brother, huh! Can't blame you. Feel free to get down on your knees and beg for mercy, and then I'll let you go without humiliating you!"Constantine let out a soft sigh. "Very well, if you're so keen on battling, I suppose it's fine. Do not complain to me when you're defeated. You two should stand back." What a scene this was all turning into! "...Go on, then. You're the challenger, so the first move is yours."

Zane Fair "Heh, you'll regret letting me go first. I'll end this right away!" Zane said confidently, drawing his sword against the calm prince. "You always act like you're so cool, and it's pretty annoying! All the girls may like you, but we'll see how impressed they are when you're broken beneath me and begging for mercy!" He said, raising an arm while the materia in his sword shined, and throwing out an orb of powerful Firaga magic, before charging forward and leaping into the air, bringing his sword crashing down onto the surely no longer calm prince!

Constantine"..." Constantine remained his usual self in the face of Zane's attempted taunting and threatening, giving him very little in the way of satisfaction. When Zane finally went on the offensive, Constantine raised his arm, a barrier blocking the fiery spell hurled at him, unintentionally giving Zane a smokescreen through which he could attack. Still, Constantine wasn't one to be surprised easily, and he summoned a blade to his hand, bringing it up to easily block the foe's meager strike. ...The blade broke. (10! Critical success! Constantine must skip his next roll, and Zane makes his next roll with advantage!)
Constantine had never anticipated that Zane's physical strength would be so great--a grave miscalculation, clearly, as his brain was having trouble processing that the blade summoned was shattered into pieces so easily. Even as the force managed to knock Constantine to the ground, he was having trouble even comprehending what had happened!
