Lacuna swam under the water and around Ryuji before surfacing.
"No silly, behind you", she said with a giggle.

Ryuji chuckled, turning around to face her. Don't play tricks on me, girly, he warned in a playful tone as he bobbed on the surface of the water.

Lacuna squealed as something brushed up against her leg, "OMG.EW.WHAT.WAS.THAT!", she screamed frantically swiming away from her spot. "I think a fish touched me..", she exclaimed observing the water around her closely for fish.

Ryuji tried his hardest not to laugh, pressing his dark lips together tightly as he pretended to look around for the fish as well. A fish touched you? Well, calm down, he laughed, looking some more before something slithered up and around her leg.

Lacuna frantically kicked her feet in the water as something wrapped itself around her leg and whined histerically, "Ewww...!! What is it?! GET.IT.OFF.GET.IT.OFF!!!" Lacuna swam behind Ryuji desperately almost as if trying to use him as some kind of shield.

Ryuji laughed loudly, tilting his head back before leaning down, pulling a water snake off from around her leg. This was bothering you, I believe, he said, looking to it. I think it likes you!

"Ewww.. Well, I don't like it! I don't think I want to swim here anymore. I keep getting the chills everytime I move.", Lacuna shivered some and clung closely to Ryuji as he held the snake.

Ryuji laughed and threw it aside, taking Lacuna close to himself, moving towards the edge of the pond, climbing out before helping her out.

Lacuna wrung her hair out over the pond and sighed. "That was so gross", she said sitting on the ground with a thud. Lacuna shook head to loosen her hair from the twist that formed from wringing it out and looked up at Ryuji with a small smile.

Well, you wanted to swim in there, Ryuji said with a grin, his eyes mere gray orbs, slightly glowing as he blended in with the shadows. He leaned towards her, giving her a kiss on the lips.

Lacuna smiled returning the kiss lovingly. "Yes, I suppose I did, didn't I?, she said with a shrug. Lacuna stood and hugged Ryuji. "My hero saved me though", she said jokingly twirling about.

Ryuji smiled softly, wrapping his arms around Lacuna. Of course I did. I'd save you from anything, anytime, he said lowly, letting his eyes close as he held her.

"Always so warm", she said nuzzling into his chest. "I guess going for a swim wasn't the best idea, it is kind of breezy after all", she said.
