Lidi starred down at Jake, though it didn't seem too much like Jake. She concentrated on the aura for a moment and noticed that it was different, though still reletively the same. She sihed and put her hands on her hips when he replied with "Perhaps a stray". "Obviously," she responded, "And I'm guessing Jake is somewhere else then?" She looked back to the cat, she could feel a little presence from it, maybe. She looked back to 'Jake', telling herself to keep an eye on the cat, just in case. "Well, I'll leave it to you then." She looked to the other bed in the room and, quickly, climbed into it.

"Yes well, I thought I would let him get some sleep," the demon shrugged then put his hands behind his head and fell softly to the pillow. "The kid has had to deal with as of late, I didn't believe it was right that he would have to carry the burden of what is about to happen." Jake sighed and then lifted himself up ans swung his torso over the side of the top bunk to stare at the girl, upside down though she may be, "But what I'd like to know more about is you. You are an odd person indeed. Though I can see you face or touch your skin, I can not seem to see your place in time."

Damien sighed and shook his head. You don't worry enough he mentally answered Miyuki. Ivory wings sprouted from between Damien's shoulder blades. He at least had an eighteen feet wingspan. For a moment he wondered whether or not to follow Miyuki. His hesitation didn't last for long and he quickly took off into the air. He moved his wings in a steady rhyme, controling it to match the beating of his heart. His six large wings easily carried his forward and he quickly caught up with Miyuki. He kept back a few feet, letting her instincts lead the way. ♠-Hikaru-♠

Ryuu sat still in the shadows, eyes closed and crouched close to the ground - he was concentrating on the girl's aura. He could feel her starting to head his way, the angel close behind. A slow smirk made its way across his lips, as he felt her come closer. She seemed to be tracking him somehow. Adrenaline rushed through his veins as he thought of the - maybe - fight to come. He clenched his hands into fists and released them again and again. He shifted his postition as if he was uncomfortable continuously. His excitement kept him from sitting still, and he couldn't help but think of the fight. His limbs would jerk out in little spasms as if fighting an invisible enemy as more adrenaline made its way into his veins. He could feel the pair coming closer to him, and he concentrated on sitting very still in the shadows. He knew the vampire hybrid would probably be able to spot him, but he welcomed the feeling of being about to be spotted. He sat still in the middle of a shadow, waiting for her and the angel.

A love deprivation
I've got a jet black heart
It's all ******** up and it's falling apart
Miyuki growled, spreading out her wings so she was now hovering in the air, Damien wasn't to far behind her but she was almost positive he would stop in time. She flapped her wings once more, making sure she didn't fall then called softly to the angel behind her. "He stopped." Her eyes slowly growing into smaller and smaller slits her eyes darkening as she tried to figure out what had caused the sudden stop. "I was pretty sure he was chasing that cat... or demon... or what ever the hell that stupid thing was!" She felt a hiss rise from deep in her throat, her muscles tensing at the fact she might actually lose a chase, or run into the hybrid again. She shifted her wings again, her breath seeming to stick in her chest. "Do we fight him, or find that cat, or both.. Are you-" She paused choosing this moment to push higher into the air so she could spin and face him, and what a lovely angel he was, but something about him always made her ache, something she knew she needed to know, something in his eyes that told her everything they did, or spoke was wrong. She flinched invoulentarily at her own thoughts before lowering her eyes to his cheek as she spoke. "Are you strong enough to fight them, I know I was weaker and I'm a little injured, but I'm sure I could take him alone if you need to go after that demon. It was obvious hes not a very good demon, and that is your job." She bit her lip and hesitated playing with her bottom lip out of habit. Yap, yap, yap, yap, yap She repeated her mothers old words to her. You don't have to blabber around the guys you like Miyuki. Guys like a girl who can keep her mouth shut! She had laughed when she spoke those words, they both had, it was a good memory she reminded herself when she felt that stinging in the back of her heart.

By the time she had laid down and got, reletively comfortable, 'Jake' had popped his head over the side of the bed and starred down at her. She could only think of what he meant by 'what is about to happen', but decided she better not ask, right now he was probing into her personal life. She closed her eyes and gave a short shrug, "How am I supposed to know? You are the seer after all. Though, perhaps you aren't looking back far enough, or you just lack the ability to do so. Though," She opened one eye, "Maybe you need to know which race I am from?" She sighed and rolled away from him, "Though, I could be wrong. What do you think?"

"I suppose it's possible, there are certain races who can protect themselves from demonic sight, but still, you don't seem to have any of the distinguishing marks of such species," but of course, Jake himself did not bare the resemblance of a demon himself. But even that was only because of his... "You're part human aren't you? Yes that's it isn't it. Ooo, I wonder what your other half is, don't tell me. Fairy? No to tall. A muse perhaps? No wait, they can on mate with other muses. Maybe an Elf?"
Kyo stared in confusion at the Demon currently dangling below him. He was awfully immature for a seer, for most types of demon for that matter. It was almost as though he was nothing more then a child, but it was clear that the demon was at least eighteen, and probably older considering how long they could live, 'Maybe I should go find someone else,' he thought but immediately changed his mind, the chances he could find another demon before he himself was found were slim to none, odds he didn't feel like taking.

Lidi half listened to him as he went firering off some species, though she sighed and rolled back over after he had guessed elf, and seemed to decide upon that one. "Think what you want to. I'm sure not telling you. You've been around me long enough to guess properly, right? So decide and get it over with."
She sat up and got off the bed, poping her head up to look at the orange cat. "And what about you? Got anything to say for yourself?" She eyed it. She knew, by now at least, that this cat had at least some sort of aura. Though it was difficult to tell it apart from Jake's.

"Now look who has the questions," Jakes smirked the lifted himself back up onto his bed and grabbed the cat. It seemed to struggle in his arms at first but relaxed when Jake whispered, "Don't worry I won't tell." He began to scratch the demon behind the ear before once again speaking, "Don't worry, you'll understand soon enough."

Lidi watched, not amused at all, as Jake lifted the cat up and began to pet it. She gave him a rather dirty look before sliding back under the bed and rolling over to she faced the wall. She didn't enjoy having Jake intervene there. She didn't come in here to stare down a cat, she came into here to sleep and that she would do, one way or another. With that thought in mind, she closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, hoping Jake would leave her be for a while.

Damien's wings stretched out and slowed him to a halt a few feet from Miyuki. They moved slowly in order to keep Damien in the air. His light wings nearly brushed against Miyuki's dark ones. "Hmm.." Damien could sense that Ryuu had stopped. But why? He turned to look at Miyuki. Her eyes were filled with emotion. A mix of frustration and sadness. His eyes were filled with concern in his eyes. "It's my job to go fight the demons. I don't think I could defeat them both alone, but I might have a chance. But more importantly...do you want to fight?" He knew what her answer would be and he hoped that she would think about what she would be risking if she chose to fight. ♠-Hikaru-♠

Miyuki scoffed at his reply. "You know that Damien." She shook her head feeling something tighten in my belly. "He tried to kill me! So... You take one demon I'll take the other." She offered a slight smile, trying to comfort him, it wasn't that hard to tell he was concerned it was written all over his face. She felt the soft ruffle of air as his wings pushed air through hers, he may not realize it but he was keeping her in flight just by doing so. "I wont let you fight them alone, and even if you were going to try and send me away I'm not about to go cower." She rolled her eyes. "Maybe angels can take orders but I'm not that great at it." She paused, hesitant when she realize how her statement could be taken as an insult. "Not that.." She bit her lip. Damn it Miyuki! Always on your f'in guard! She sighed and raised her eyes to his for a moment. "So which are you taking?"

Damien's eyes still showed concern. She was right that he had tried to kill her and if he were in her position, he would definately want revenge. He opened his mouth and answer, "okay." He hesitated on which demon to leave with Miyuki. He had been able to hurt Ryuu, but not the demon. "I'll go after that demon and you can go after Ryuu," he frowned. "Do you really want to do this?" He looked down at the ground which was now more than fifty feet below them. Damien tended to forget about keeping a steady beat in his wings when he was stressed. He raised his face to look at Miyuki, one eye was covered by his hair. As his eyes met hers the stuborn look in her eyes immediately told him that he wouldn't be able to convince Miyuki to stay out of fighting. ♠-Hikaru-♠

Ryuu sat still in the shadows, and smirk plastered onto his face. His eyes were closed, as he concentrated on the two creatures closing in on him. He could still feel some kind of presense[sp?] coming from the building behind him, but he figured they weren't going to pose any threat to him. His smirk grew wider as he could feel the fact the Miyuki and Damien seemed tense. He chuckled quietly under his breath, and concentrated on their aurasonce again.

((Is there a problem with that? Lidi's just lazy... to a certain extent...))
((What time of day is it anyways? Last time I checked it was night... but now i'm thinking day. Anyone willing to help me figure this out?))
Just as Lidi had closed her eyes and her mind was a little bit clearer she noticed an aura she hadn't before. She jump bolt right up but hit her head on the bed up above. Lidi groaned as she sat back down and rubbed her head. I'm such a moron... how could I not notice before? She got out from under the bed and stood up, moving over to the window. She plastered her back up against the wall and looked out the window. From where she was she could see the street outside but more importantly, after finding the source of the aura, she could make out the faintest appearnce of Ryuu, though she strained her eyes doing so.
s**t, she thought as she leaned against the wall, rubbing the space between her eyes. I can't believe I didn't ntoice his aura before. Though, how did he get into this area? She thought of the orange cat and glared at Jake's bed. It was normal for a cat to come into the alley, perhaps climb up, but to have an aura of its own would probably make even Ryuu chase after it.
In a swift motion, she stopped leaning against the wall, jumped off the edge of her own bed and grabbed the cat, picking it up. Glaring at it, she hopped back down onto the floor and yelled, "You sure as hell better start explaining!"
