Edward abruptly turned the moment he sensed the unforgettable aura. "Never ends." He muttered with his eyes a bit wide. "Kiara, don't try to move right now. " Edward said low in her ear so only she could hear. "I understand you think you can handle yourself, but believe it or not you still need time to heal. I'll get you out or get Fang to take you out. Don't get yourself hurt as I try to protect you." He warned, standing up. "Fang! Get out here!" Edward called over his shoulder, keeping his eyes on Chaos. This was the last thing he needed. Another attack on Kiara's life. "Shouldn't be surprised you'd be here already." Edward bared his fangs and crouched forwards in a defensive position. Already he could tell there was something different. Weak persay.

Chaos only laughed at Edward's remark, still he had to play it safe, at least for now. "And yet, your face says it all, your so easy to read its almost boring." As soon as Edward took a defence position, Chaos followed suit, then turned his eyes toward Kiara. "So she told you did she? Why am I not surprised, that tramp couldn't keep a secret to save her life. No matter, just another errand on my list, but enough talk. Time to die!!" And with that he charged head on into Edward, bringing his sword down across his chest. Even in the heat of battle, his powers would not return, the black flame that one shrouded the sword remained silent. Such weakness!! Damn that infernal demon, if not for him I would have these fools on a platter by now.

As soon as the blow landed, Chaos flew back into a steel beam, his eyes went wide with pain from the impact. Xagetta had done his job well, he had grown so weak that he was forced to his knees, when he bounced of the beam to the ground. "Ah, dammit!!" He shook his head and growled, as he rose from the to his feet, using the sword to balance him. Like his other powers, his healing abilities were drained as well. Still stinging from the pain, he looked back to Edward. "Maybe, but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I will enjoy tearing you to shreds!" He pulled the sword out of the ground, then lunched himself towards Edward, slamming him with a good left hook to the lower abdomen. The strength he used was powerful enough to knock a bull elephant over. This hit was guarantied to send him flying. "I may not have my powers at this moment, but as soon as they return, I will burn your sorry corpse to ash!!"

Chaos stumbled back at least 3 feet, huffing and wincing, both blows hit the mark dead on. After a few sharp breaths, he looked down to his hand which was covering the wound. His palm was coated in a thin layer of black blood, he turned his attention back to Edward, his red-glowing eyes flashed with fury. He didnt take adding insult to injury lightly. "Your so going to pay for that!" In the blink of an eye, he spun around, and with full-strength brought the blade up against Edwards' chest, lifting him up and tossing him 20 feet into the air. Chaos soon followed after him, and then span the opposite direction at whirlwind velocity, striking Edward at least 6 times before slamming him back down on the ground. "Chaotic Torrent!!" was all that could be heard. ((For those who don't know, I jacked that from Legacy of Kain: Defiance, a game I highly recommend.)) Chaos didn't follow however, but he wouldn't stay up there for long, as he fell he turned the sword with the tip facing Edward. Threatening to impale him upon impact, driving it through his heart. "Time to end this, once and for all!!"

((I know I'm seriously breaking the rules here, but we both know Edwards going to make it out of this, so if you ask me its worth it. mrgreen ))

The attack on Edward was rough and quick. He was so concern with making sure he didn't get near Kiara that he wasn't paying full attention. So when he realized fully what was happening, he was on the ground practically waiting to get stabbed through. It wouldn't kill him but it would give Chaos a perfect time to finish his business with Kiara. "Hell no." Edward grumbled and just as the blade would have pierced him through, Edward vanished.
Then he was there behind Chaos, once he had landed, and Edward was digging his blade into Chaos' abdomen.

"Damn it" said Chaos, as he landed, having missed Edward. But the moment Edwards' sword pierced his back and stomach, he screamed out in pain. "You b*****d!" He tried to lift his sword and retaliate, but when Kiara moved in front of him, his screams turned into actual howls of agony. With his powers drained, her presence not only blinded him, but somehow hurt him. His head shook about wildly, as his left arm tried to shield him from her, while he screamed bloody murder. That aura that surrounded him, began to fade even more, the sword it self began to glow in response, trying to retaliate. As he held it how ever, its aura seemed to fade as well. Just then Xagetta's mind screamed out to Edward, trying to contact him. Edward, remember my words, this is your chance! He's vulnerable now, Kiara has the power to send him back into the shadows. You know what must be done. His mind flashed a memory of what he said back at the Endless Fields into Edwards, his voice echoing them in the backround.

((Ok guys, this is it, this is the one chance they got to end this mess. ))

"s**t, if we are gonna stop this hell on earth, we have to help kiara now. she cant die yet." he turned and froze chaos's legs to the ground hard. "we have to defeat chaos so we can deal with everything else, and we have to do it now!"
