His eyes suddenly opened wide and a smirk fell across his face. There. There it was. His chakra once more reached forth as he mended the last "loose stitch" so to speak, in his jutsu. He mended it with a last hint of triumph in his eyes before the two clones resumed their battle, their spar an expression of seamless combat. Yes, they were still weaker than he, but as water clones were supposed to be. He had completed the jutsu with distinction. He dismissed the two clones, allowing them to fall into water once more whilst wearing a broad grin on his face, pleased with his success. The pleasure was dampened however, as his attention turned back to the scroll in his coat, tucked away in one of the inner pockets. The scroll contained the jutsu for the Water Clone...the Mizu Bushin itself...as a spy, he should have fought to get the scroll back ot his clan...he should have wanted to turn this over immediately to the hidden sound... and yet... he ignored the weight of the scroll hidden inside his coat for the moment, and instead jumped down to the street below, heading off towards the main district of the village, not particularly paying any attention to where his feet took him...musing to himself in thought...

~ Roll 1: 74 [Pass / Fail] (1/8 )
Only a short while ago one of Yuriko's students had given an idea for a new genjutsu. He didn't do it intentionally but non the less sparked a desire to create a technique which would cause to someone to believe that they were in love. This came about as a result of her student believing that he had been put under a genjutsu when all had she done was a little flirting. The idea was a powerful one though, she could boost her abilities to seduce people by augmenting them with genjutsu. So today she had come to the housing district. Her initial test subjects would be street animals but during the later stages she was going to do some test runs at a local bar.

As this was a new technique she would have to figure out how exactly to mold her chakra right so that it would effect her enemies brain in the desired manner. No easy task, but she was smart and knew a technique that functioned in a similar manner to the one that she wanted to create. Kuro Ikkou no Jutsu infected a victims mind with thoughts that would find disturbing and against their own nature. It targeted the same area and worked in a similar way but had a different end result.

Despite this it would be a good place to start. Yuriko sat down on a bench by the street to think about the mixture of chakra that went into Kuro Ikkou no Jutsu. The idea behind the basis of her idea for this technique would be to starve the feminine energy from her yin chakra so that the chakra infecting her victim would desire the female energy of Yuriko. Thus the chakra infecting the target would convince the person of a need for Yuriko and that desire would cause the same feeling as love.

Of course this was easier said than done as the correct proportions of chakra were key. Too little and the jutsu would be unstable, too much and it wouldn't be effective. She had to find the right amount of chakra to form the technique. This whole time while she had been thinking about how to go about the technique, Yuriko had been mixing and molding her chakra. She was looking for what felt right before testing it on something. There was no need to cause mental strain to a creature when she wasn't sure it would even work right.

Thus she resolved to find the mixture that she thought would work before going in search of test subjects. Having now been siting on the bench for about fifteen minutes she decided to get up and stretch and take a short walk. She felt as she was closing in the right mixture but it couldn't hurt to take a short walk and get some fresh air. Maybe scope out some test targets as well so that she'd have an idea of where to look when the time came to start trying out the jutsu. As she walked around the housing district her thoughts about the proper mixture of the genjutsu shielded her from the glaring eyes of the older people in the area. The ones who knew what she had done.

By the time she returned to the bench, about five minutes later, she felt like she had the right combination for the jutsu. Now was the time to test it out. Nearby was a small ally way where two housing complexes kept their garbage. There was bound to be a rodent or some animal that she could test out the new genjutsu on. Yuriko quietly made her way into the alley as to not alert any potential critters of her presence. She could distinctly here the faint the swishing of a tail, and the yellow eyes looked up at her brownish orange eyes.

It was at this moment that she realized she didn't have a name for the technique that she was about to use. For a moment she considered Momoiro Ikkou no Jutsu no jutsu for a moment. But the Pink Though technique didn't really sound right to her, she felt the name wasn't appropriate enough for the technique that she was about to use. So as she and the cat stood there just looking at each other she searched for a name. The idea came quickly enough, she was infecting someone's mind with the idea of love, Genjutsu: koiwazurai (Illusionary Technique: Lovesickness) was the name she applied to it.

With the name now formed in her head and the proper proportions of chakra speculated, it was time to test it. Genjutsu: koiwazurai, she invoked as her chakra was cast upon the cat. At first nothing happened, but then after a short period of time the cat began to pur as it looked at her, it started walking over to her, no longer afraid as it's mind desired to be at her side. It was then that the cat fainted from mental stress. An animal of its size didn't have much before it could no longer take even the most docile of genjutsu.

~ Roll 1: 84 [Pass / Fail] (1/8 )
Now that she had a working mixture, it was time to refine it. She need to find the exact proportions, learn to use only as much chakra as she needed to to for each step. Once that step was passed she needed to practice using the refined technique to really memorize the right way to use it. With her previous test subject passed out it was time to find a new one. Cats were okay but couldn't last under a genjutsu for very long so she needed to find something bigger that wasn't human. She was going to use human test subjects later but that might draw more attention than she'd want.
~ Roll 2: 82 [Pass / Fail] (2/8 )
Earlier while on her walk there had been a particularly big which had barked angrily at her as she passed. Since the dog was territorial and somewhat mean it was the perfect choice to be a test target. Then she'd really be able to observe the effects of her jutsu while still be able to work on refining it as well. She casually left the alleyway and headed back the way that she had gone while on her walk. It didn't take long before she came upon the viscous beast from earlier as she could hear it barking from several streets away. No doubt in her mind that it was probably frightening someone at that very moment.

While walking she continued to practice building up the chakra without actually using it on anything, of course she would soon be using it on that dog. It wasn't long before she was standing at the edge of a fence around the small yard where the dog was held on a rope leash. A large German Shepard by the look of it, male... she determined as she noticed that it hadn't been neutered. Probably one of the reasons that it was so territorial. Still, it would work well for her purposes. She looked the dog squarely in the eyes and whispered "Genjutsu: koiwazurai" as she cast the genjutsu upon it. After a moment the dog stopped barking.
~ Roll 4: 71 [Pass / Fail] (4/8 )
"Good boy." she said, causing the dog to start barking again. Looks like it wasn't quite strong enough.. let's try this one. "Genjutsu: koiwazurai" she said as she used the genjutsu on the dog for a second time. What she didn't realize was that the first one hadn't worn off yet. Thus the genjutsu was now doubling its effects on the dog. Now the dog whimpered an apology to her and sat down on its hind legs. To test the strength of genjutsu's effects Yuriko reached out to touch the dog.
~ Roll 5: 79 [Pass / Fail] (5/8 )
The dog almost instantly tried to bite her hand but her reaction speed was top notch and she pulled her hand away before it could close its jaws on her hand. Bad." she told the dog, as it whined again. "Genjutsu: koiwazurai" she said for the third time, layering on the genjutsu yet again to the dog. This time it started to pant and wag its tail as it looked at her playfully. Her genjutsu was now operating at triple speed unbeknownst to her. She tried reaching out her hand again and this time the dog remained still as it allowed her to touch the top of his head.

"Was that really so hard poochi-kun?" she asked it in her normal dull monotone voice. At the sound of her voice the dog barked happily. Then something strange happened. The dog started tugging on his leash, playfully at first, but then it started to get more vigorous. Is this a side effect? she asked herself as she watched the dog. It then started biting at the rope which was holding it the yard, stopping every so often to offer a sad whine to Yuriko. It appeared that it was now trying to get loose so that it could closer to her. She reached out her hand and the dig began to lick it for a short time before going back to gnawing at the rope.

Before she knew what was happening the rope holding the dog back began to fray and then due to the force of its pull, the rope snapped. Now free, the dog tried to do what its brain was telling it to do. With it's powerful legs the dog lept up over the fence and tackled Yuriko. Due to the surprise nature of the attack she accidentally released a fourth Genjutsu: koiwazurai onto the dog. "Bad dog!" she eclaimed as she tried to get out from underneath it. However in the strength department Yuriko was basically like a civilian, stronger than a normal sixteen year old girl but still nothing much to speak off. The dog clearly had her beat in the strength department.

As the genjutsu continued to grow in strength inside the dogs brain it began to dry hump Yuriko. Her eyes went wide with shock, filthy beast! Luckily she was wearing shinobi clothing which was made of a slightly more durable material than normal clothes; otherwise she might have been some serious trouble.She used one final Genjutsu: koiwazurai on the dog hoping that it would overload the dog's brain and make it pass out. Luckily for Yuriko, it did.The dog then collapsed ontop of her.

Now that the dog had passed out from the mental strain Yuriko as able to roll it off her. The second lucky thing her in the attack was that she had been facing the dog when it happened. Had the dog gotten her face down it could have last much longer and been a lot more embarrassing on top of the gross factor. After today she was going to have somewhat of a dislike for dogs that would last for quite some time. The girl didn't even bother to drag the dog back inside its fence, she left it out passed out on the street and moved on to look for something else to try the genjutsu out on.
~ Roll 2: 66 [Pass / Fail] (2/8 )
As she walked away, Yuriko couldn't help but think about the experience that she had just had. I guess this jutsu can be dangerous for the user... if the target becomes too infatuated they may resort to.... baser, instincts. Humans can probably take more but still, I'll need to be ready for that to happen again. She wasn't really sure where she was going now, maybe she stop home and use it on her parents to make them love her. The idea was quickly thrown out as it wouldn't help anyone. As she continued to walk Yuriko continued expelling the chakra for the jutsu but never picked a target.
~ Roll 3: 55 [Pass / Fail] (3/8 )
As she walked, Yuriko came across a back lot, a place of empty space between several housing units, filled with guys around her age. As she walked into the back lot they all stopped what they were doing and looked at her in unison. They all looked pretty sketchy, and she approached they began to yell things to her... cat calls mostly but then one of them made the others be quiet. The leader. she thought to herself. "You lost girl?" he asked sarcastically. "Cause this is our turf and we own whatever and who ever is on it." Genjutsu: koiwazurai she thought silently, infecting the leader with her genjutsu.
~ Roll 4: 65 [Pass / Fail] (4/8 )
"Turf?" she asked innocently, turning on her charm. "Oh are you guys a gang? That's so cool." she said to him. "What kind of dumb girl are you?" he asked. Though his edge was wearing off, the genjutsu starting to effect his mind. "Of course we're a gang, and I'm the leader.", "Oh! So cool!" she said back to him. "Well yeah it kind of is..." he said, almost unsure, somewhat confused. He was starting to think that he had feelings for her. "Yo boss! What's the matter with you!" One of the others yelled out. "Why aren't we mugging this chick or something already?" the other continued. Genjutsu: koiwazurai, she hit the loudmouthed one with the genjutsu.
~ Roll 5: 63 [Pass / Fail] (5/8 )
"Hey, shut the hell up alright. This girl is special!" the leader yelled back. "I'm special huh?" she asked imitating an innocent voice. "That's so sweet." she said. She was inside the leader's head now his thoughts filled only with her when pf the others yelled out "He's gone soft on us!". Genjutsu: koiwazurai. She used her new genjutsu on another one. Now three of the gang members were under he genjutsu. "Hey! nobody asked you so shut the hell up!" the leader yelled back. His comments sparked more from the other two and then all three started yelling at each other.
~ Roll 6: 64 [Pass / Fail] (6/8 )
So far it was working quite well, as she had used the genjutsu on three different people and it wasn't showing the same signs as the dog yet so she probably wasn't going to have to hurt anyone. Both she and the non infected gang members just sat back and watched as the three argued back and forth. Then the others became quite confused as the argument shifted from who was in charge and not speaking out to what Yuriko likes and how they could please her. So far it was working excellently, and she had been able to use the genjutsu several times already. Though things were about to go a little south as one of the peons finally noticed her headband... "Hey..." he said quietly at, slightly afraid, "Hey guys. That girl's a Ninja!" he yelled to the others. "I bet she put the the boss and the others under a genjutsu.
~ Roll 7: 20 [Pass / Fail] (8/8 ) [Nat 20, double success]
"What? No! you've got it all wrong I just sell flowers!" she fake pleaded. The three infected members stood by trying to think on what they should do, trying to fight the genjutsu. "Boss-kun!" continued, using her seduction on his already seduced mind. "I'll go out with who ever saves me from these scary thugs. In unison, all three of the infected gang members said "I'll protect you!" before leaping into a fight with their own gang members. She let them duke it out for a while, beating each other up for her. When she felt like they were all sufficiently worn out she released the genjutsu. "Don't ever let me catch you punks in my neighborhood again." she said to them with her flat voice. "Sure thing!" they said as they ran off embarrassed and defeated.
