God forsaken dice

Jericho stayed lying on the ground, his body was in so much pain that he didn’t dare cause anymore by even standing up. He curled up into a little ball and just shook, his body wasn’t cold in anyway so Jericho didn’t understand it, but it scared him a lot. He pushed his body up and decided he would walk around a little to get his blood pumping. His walk looked more like a drunken stagger because he was in so much pain, but he knew that if he didn’t move around and fell asleep again he could possibly die.

Jericho eventually got very dizzy from walking but knew he couldn’t sleep. He figured he must have a concussion or something, which would explain why he is so tired and dizzy. He put his hands out and leaned against a tree and looked down at his feet while he waited for his eyes to focus, which they eventually did. Jericho let out a sigh as he looked over his wounds, a few possibly fractured ribs, sliced foot, sore legs, bruised arms, back, chest, and butt. This had been a rugged training session.

Jericho continued with his walk admiring his scenery. All of it was beautiful forests and fields. Something caught Jerichos eye as he was walking however, he saw a kuni stuck into a tree, then another, and another….and another. They were stuck deep into the tree, to deep for Jericho pull out. Jericho let out a sigh after trying then he decided this probably wasn’t a safe place to be so he turned around and headed back the direction he came from.

Jericho headed back the direction he came but cut off to the left a little more to admire some different scenery. He saw another small pond and smiled. He walked up to it and got on his knees and dunked his head into the water. He then scrubbed at the back of his head until all the sap from earlier had come out. He pulled his head out of the water and shook it like a wet dog in order to dry off his wet hair. Since his hair was pretty long though that did not to much. He would have to wait a little longer before he could continue his training.

Jericho walked out into a sunny field and just stood there so his hair would dry up. He ran his hand through his hair to get it the way he wanted to. He then realized the black headband around his arm and realized that if he just tied it on his forehead it would keep the hair out of his face even if it was wet. Jericho proceeded to do this then walk out of the sunny field and back into the forest. He looked around to see what tree he would climb up. He decided the one right next to him would probably be fine.

Jericho let out a deep breath and started to climb up the tree. It didn’t take long for him to get to a decent branch that over looked a lot of the grove. He inched his way to the middle of the branch then looked around and saw one that was a little higher up but it wasn’t far away. Jericho took another deep breath the jumped for it. He wasn’t able to jump high enough and the branch ended up hitting him in the ankles. Jericho fell forward and flipped in the air a few times before eventually landing on his back. Jericho attempted to get up but his body want ready and he fell back to the ground.

Jericho was finally able to get up. He let out a sigh and brushed himself off then turned around and climbed up the same tree as last time. He stepped out on the same branch and looked up at the same branch he jumped to on his last attempt. “I can do this.” Jericho said to himself. He took a deep breath then let it out slowly, then sucked in a quick breath and jumped. He made sure to jump as hard as he could, but this time it proved to be too much and he jumped right over the branch he was attempting to land on. Jericho fell feet first, although they gave out upon impact and Jericho fell to his butt hard.

Jericho rolled off of his butt and onto his arms and knees. He rested his head on the ground as he gasped for air and watched the sweat drop from his forehead to the ground in front of his eyes. He lifted his head up and dabbed his forehead with his headband to get the sweat off. This had been a long tedious exercise for him, he was in a lot of pain and his confidence had significantly dropped, but he wasn’t about to give up yet.

Jericho pushed himself back up to his feet and tied his headband back around his bicep. He took in a deep breath and looked up at the tree he had been unable to make it across. He looked back down at his legs, which were shaking and let out an angry sigh and closed his eyes. He focused on stopping his legs from shaking so he would be able to jump accurately. Once he legs stopped shaking he let out a sigh of relief the put his hands on the tree and began to climb up it.

Jericho climbed up the tree he had been unable to jump from successfully. He made his way out onto the same branch he had been attempting to jump from for the past, what seemed like, million attempts. He inched his way to the edge of the branch then looked across at the branch he was jumping to. He took in a deep breath then slowly let it out and pushed off with his feet and jumped towards the branch. He didn’t jump far enough to land on it with his feet so he attempted to catch it with his arms. He smashed into it stomach first then fell backwards and landed hard on the ground back first.

Jericho pushed his wobbly body up and slowly made his way over to the tree. He was so frustrated that he didn’t have time to rest. He slowly climbed up the tree and made his way out onto the branch. He eyes were a little out of focus but he really didn’t care. He closed his eyes then jumped. To his surprise he had landed feet first onto the branch with perfect balance and wasn’t wobbling at all. Jericho opened his eyes wide open and looked down at his feet to make sure it was real. Then with a fit of excitement he let out a loud laugh.

Jericho quickly sat down on the branch to catch his breath. He had been training very hard and his body was feeling very week. Jericho closed his eyes and lifted his head back so he could feel the sun on his face. He laid backwards and let his legs hang over the edge of the branch and let out a deep breath. Jericho smiled a slight smile, he felt very accomplished after making that jump, and felt like he deserved a nice long break before continuing.

Jericho opened his eyes slowly and rolled his head a little bit so the sun was not directly in his eyes. He looked over the lush grove and smiled. “This place is so beautiful compared to the rest of the island, I don’t know why more people don’t come here, I would never leave if I had a choice.” Jericho slowly closed his eyes then opened them a few seconds later.

Jericho looked up the tree he had fallen from and let out a sigh. He slowly made his way up the tree and out onto the branch he was jumping from. “I over shot it last time, I don’t need to jump as hard.” He said to himself as he bent his legs and touched the branch with his fingers to help keep his balance. Jericho jumped towards the other branch but this time did not jump hard enough and under shot it. Jericho fell to the ground and landed hard on his side but quickly pushed himself back to his feet.

Jericho made his way back to the tree he was jumping from and climbed up it. He slowly walked out on to the branch and attempted to recalculate the distance he was jumping. “Hmmm….” Jericho knelt down and looked the branch over and looked at where he had fallen the past few attempts. “eight feet?” He said sounding very unsure. He stood back up then jumped. Jericho landed on the branch but his feet slid out from under him and he smashed his back off the branch then feel to the ground. Jericho landed hard on his chest but quickly got up again. He was very determined at this point.

As Jericho successfully made a few jumps in a row he felt as though he had figured this exercise out. Her began looking around the trees for the next branch he was going to jump to. He spotted one that was about eleven feet away, the furthest he had attempted yet, but he was not longer afraid. He took a deep breath then jumped for it, wasting little time. As Jericho soared through the air he realized just how far he was jumping, although he knew this was not that big a deal since he had seen his bodyguard Hawk jump multiple stories with one attempt. Jericho soon found himself descending onto the branch without any problems.

Jericho landed on the branch and smiled. “If only my dad could see me now.” He said with a laugh as he began to look around for the next branch. “That one looks like it will do just fine.” He said as he spotted at branch about eight feet away. It was a little smaller then the rest of branches he had jumped to, but it looked like it was sturdy enough to hold him. Jericho took a deep breath and waited for the wind to stop, it had thrown him off before and he didn’t want it to happen again, since he was on a roll. The wind eventually stopped and Jericho wasted no time in jumping. Jericho landed on the branch, which wobbled a lot upon impact, this scared Jericho for a moment.

Jericho let out a sigh of relief when the branch did not break and stopped wobbling. He looked around for one last very challenging branch to jump to, he figured his last jump better be a good one. He spotted a branch that was about the same size as the one he was on, but it was about six feet higher then where he was, as well as about seven feet away. This would be a hard jump for Jericho since he had decided he was not going to use his arms to lift himself up, he had to land on his feet. “Alright, here goes nothing.” He said to himself as he lowered his body as far as it would go while still being efficient. Jericho then jumped with everything he had in him and just managed to land on the branch. Jericho let out a deep breath then got down from the trees as quickly as he could. He laid on the ground and let out a sigh of relief. “Im glad that’s finally over with.” He said closed his eyes so he could relax for a little while.

Rhiko slowly walked through the grove's outskirts, trying to find his way out. After a long while of strolling aimlessly, he came to a clearing. There was nothing in this mysterious clearing, except a continueation of the path on the other end. Without questioning anything, he strolled out into the clearing.

Within seconds, he wished he hadn't. A twang reached his ear, and he bent down, noticing the presure on his foot, "A wire?!" And without much thought, he roared out a "DAMN IT!!!" Which he swallowed down when a kunai flew past his arm and left a painfull cut.

With the sudden relization of his situation, Rhiko instantly got moving, sharp missles flew past his and he desperately tried to dodge them. 'Twangs' sounded all through the clearing, making the mist ever more loathed. A well acurately aimed kunai came flying his way, and he quickly took note of the direction and hight. A duck saved his life, as the kunai cliped his hair lightly.

One after another, the Kunai flew around him, who ever had set it up was a master of traps. Rhiko felt his heart beating like a car engine, just rapidly refueling his body with blood. His breathing was rapid, and his adrenalin energizing him to the point things were flowing in slow motion.

The music of staping wires shimered in thier own silent art. Deadly to those unfortunate not to herar thier beautiful music, traps, one after another, continueous and unforgiving, Rhiko dodged rapidly as they were set off. It was like getting caught in a web, every miovement to escape, was enough to remind the spider of his presence. In this case, Kunai came runing to greet him.

Rhiko's dodgeing was beginging to pay off, he gegan to remember where cirtain, "Red Zones" were. He fliped, and cartweeled, and dived out of the way of numerous kunai. Just as he was sure there would be no end, he relized he had steped into a place with no wires! The twangs stoped, and all was silent. Rhiko took deep breaths, watching the mist for any stirs to clue him off to the location of the wires. But for now, he stayed still.
