TheMessiah People are talking on the travian forums about Staging Grounds. Basically people of a guild/alliance/whatever send all their units there then send them to a target en-mass. It'd probably see coding if a mod ever looked at the boards, but that's probably the closest thing you'll see to what you want Teri. Even then it's unlikely. Edit- All signs point to me having a new village by 5pm today yayzors Yeah, though if everyone can use them, that makes my camps better still. We'll see what happens, because that would be very, very awesome. mrgreen Congrats! Where is this one going? There's a lot of usable land up where I started, stuff that isn't wholly dependant upon homebase. Or you could fortify your hold on where you're at, either works.

Hm. I guess this means I should probably start planning out where I want to go before I get too far ahead of myself. wink
For now, I like the idea of my capital being primarily defensive with a nice supply of resources. From there, specializing seems like a good idea to me. I do have a few questions however:
1. How far apart is everyone spacing their villages? 2. At what point do you consider claiming an oasis/new village?

Mine are going to be about 12 fields apart (so far), just so they are near enough to send resources between easily while still having their own oases and farms. I will start spacing them apart more as I grow. The average time for a new village seems to be in the mid 300's, with the first oasis before. I am only just working on my second oasis now so you will have to ask someone bigger about the rest sweatdrop

At what point do you consider claiming an oasis/new village? I'm going to have two villages in two seperate quadrants. But I'm the odd man out. Most people appear to be staying pretty close to home. After seeing what it can do, I suggest getting an oasis soon. Such a thing is an amazing boost to your production. Also: I'm researching cavalry now. Teutonic variety. I'm going to be able to strike much faster with them, and that's a definate advantage. Plus, it means that paladins are hardly the unbreakable wall that they once were.

Probably gonna be this piece of real estate right here http://s1.travian.us/karte.php?d=438610&c=d7I've got kind of the opposite idea of Balc in that a 15wheater capital works perfectly and having adjacent villages ship excess resources to supply works out great. Being able to get those fields beyond lvl10, pump out mass quantities of infantry and cavalry etc. But i'd be happy to see you get started over here with all the cool people *ahem*(Me Balc and Silk). But to me thats an obscene distance so meh
