So the boy vanished, that was a bit predictable. The man snickered as he felt the boy's presence vanish. He continued walking until he reached his previous spot, where the half eaten body was slowly decomposing. He looked at it with disgust be turning back to the whole he had crawled into.
He placed on large hand on the opening and then effortlessly pulled his body into the clearing. A moment later, the man was standing in the darkness, his piercing turquoise eyes glancing from side to side. There was nothing else around. He looked rather bored now, he wished that the boy would have stayed for a while - to have some entertainment, even if it was brief.
The man turned back towards the platform, towards the only light that could be seen at the end of the tunnel, and began walking. It took a couple of minutes for him to reach the lit platform. There was no one around.
He effortlessly jumped into the concrete and made his way towards the stairs, exiting to the city.

Darkness covered every aspect of the moist smelly tunnels that were the sewers. In that pitch black nothingness, a lone blacken figure laid motionless against the curved walls of the long tube, hundreds of dead rodents laying around its body. Slowly opening its eyes, the crimson orbs peered into the darkness and saw nothing living around him. Despite his unusual healing powers, nothing was able to stop the onslaught caused by the hunter's grenade. The pain was indescribable and his hate even more intangible. Though, unlike others, his hate had a face now. At first, the puritan vampire's sole purpose was to spread the word of change and strengthen the vampiric cause, now it was all revenge, for never had a human managed to do so much damage to the Immortal as quickly as the one hunter did.
"Father...forgive me." Croaked a ragged voice from behind the blacken mask of burned skin. Stirring somewhat from its resting position, the skinless monster moaned in blissful pain as it rose onto its feet. The filthy water that filled the tunnel offered some comfort, but not enough. Though his healing factor was working in overdrive, his inhuman bloodlust had long died away due to the severity of damage and pain. Hairless. Skinless. Yet, still active and moving. That was a sign of the bloodlust vampire's strength as he moved slowly towards one end of the tunnels in the sewer. Weak now, but the inhuman creature knew it was only temporary. Already his feed on the hundreds of rodents that came to feast on his dead flesh fell to his fangs. It would only be a matter of time before he could find a more suitable meal.
Silently and slowly, the strange creature moved through the darkness, its keen senses alert and looking for prey. It wasn't long till the noise of two humans talking reached the monster's ears. Humans... At the thought and sense of fresh flesh, the hunger deep within the beast core stirred, granting the badly wounded vampire strength that would never of existed amongst his kind. Picking up his silent pace, the man finally reached a dry portion and lit portion of the tunnels that was a utility station. There, two men dressed in white hardhats and gray jumpsuits were toying with an electrical panel, talking to each other with their attention in the green power boxes.
With quieted steps onto the dry concrete of the sewers, the undead burnt corpse crept slowly behind one of the men. His eyes glowed a demonic thirst of blood as its charred mouth opened to reveal its sharp enlarged canine. In a matter of minutes, the burnt corpse latched itself onto the back of one man and tore into its neck. Unable to make a noise, the body spasm beneath the unnatural strength of the corpse as it felt its body's life force begin to drain away from him. His partner, hearing the scuffle, leaned out of the panel box to investigate, only to see the bizarre scene.
"What the hell?! Tony!" Scared to the point of strictly primal instinct, the lone living human reached for its screwdriver in its utility belt and lunged forward, aiming to not only kill the monster, but save his friend in the process. Stabbing repeatedly into the blacken slick flesh of the monster, the man cried wildly with each attack. "GET OFF HIM!" Though each stab and shout remained ignored as the fiend held tightly to his meal and continued to suck the large wound created by the massive bite. The man Tony's eyes rolled into the back of his head as his body continued to jerk violently. Eventually it was motionless and thrown onto the ground.
The other man, now stopping his assault with the long sharp screwdriver took several steps back, realizing now he should of choose flight over fight in his primal options. Standing before him, the charred flesh of the corpse began to gain color, or at least skin. Pasty pale skin was exposed beneath the charcoal scabs as the crimson eyes fell upon the screwdriver wielding fighter. "Seek forgiveness now, child." The demonic deep voice grumbled as a fanged smile slowly spread across the now quasi-pasty hairless face. With eyes wide open, the man dropped his screw driver and closed his eyes, head bowing forward in anticipation of what was going to happen now.
In a few more minutes, it was all over. Both men, with missing heads and no blood, laid before open panel boxes with their tools scattered everywhere. Standing near them, covered in fresh blood, a naked pale skinned man with long black hair stood, his crimson eyes studying the scene in silence. Though most of his flesh returned, the scars of his fight against the hunters were prominent, scars that probably won't be healed.
"Forgive me, Father." The nude puritan vampire muttered.

It wasn't long for the dark clothed masked Hunter to find the entrance where the vampire escaped from. Already, police as well as other government authorities showed up to the scene and left the scene. There wasn't much damage in the streets other than the scorch marks made from the grenade, so most of the authorities dismissed it as a blotched prank of some sort. That or they simply didn't care enough to investigate. No causalities meant no paperwork. But Marcus knew there was at least one causality, and that person was somewhere down below.
Sneaking through the same manhole the charred vampire slipped down, Marcus whipped out his moderately heavy assault Carbine out and activated his thermal/infrared goggles to live. The pitch black world quickly became a world covered in the spectrum of several tints of red of thermal activity with the thick lines of green revealed through the infrared. Tucking the butt of his fully automatic assault rifle at his shoulder and his eyes peering through his holographic sight for increase accuracy. Armed with specially made UV rounds, Marcus bared a grim expression beneath his covered face as he attempted to breath through his mouth to avoid the strong disgusting odor of the sewer.
"Come out, come out, where ever you are..." Marcus whispered, his senses open for any disruption in the water he was wading through as he continued his slow, but steady walk towards one end of the tunnels. Recalling the shape the vampire was at the end of the fight, Marcus figured the beastly vampire shouldn't have gotten far. In fact, the M-4 was probably going to be overkill. But the hunter wasn't going to take any chances. Armed to the teeth with his Kukri strapped to his side, his Taurus 1911 holstered at his thigh, and his M-4 dubbed "Peacemaker" poised and armed to fully automatic, the masked hunter was ready for action and trouble.
"Come out, my friend. I just wanna talk..." He whispered, well aware that despite his quiet tone, the vampire would still be able to hear him.

The vampire sneered as his acute hearing picked up the familiar voice that was the new bane to his existence. Twisting his head to look over his shoulder at the mouth of the tunnel, the scarred paraffin skinned vampire hissed as he studied the area he was standing in. Now having his thirst quenched somewhat and reasoning returning to him from the void of pain, the undead naked man noticed the two hanging light fixtures that illuminated the small concrete room. Though his strength wasn't as potent as it was before the fight with the hunters, it was still more than your average vampire due to his over four century years of living. Reaching over to one of the thick cables that powered the utility station, the nude vampire grabbed it and gave it a might yank, causing electricity and sparks to fly everywhere before the whole room went pitch black.
"Come to me, Satan. Come to me and allow me to show you salvation..." The twisted vampire muttered, his eyesight adjusting to the darkness instantly and seeing the world of blackness as though it was still illuminated. Stepping over to the mouth of the tunnel he emerged from and where the voice continued to echo out of, the super sight of the Immortal gave him a perfect view of the approaching hunter. Though he was expecting the man from last night, the vampire's gaze was greeted by something totally different and bizarre to him. Never had he seen anyone dressed in such a gear before and this was alarming to the man.
"So it appears Satan's army has come prepared this time..." The undead nude priest muttered as he glanced once more around the room, noticing the ceiling reaching twenty feet in height and a doorway across the room from the panel boxes. Bearing a wicked grin, the nude man went over to the two headless bodies and dumped them right before the mouth of the sewer entrance. Then, heading quickly over to the doorway that lead to the city outside, the vampire tore the metal hinges off and violently launched it into the panel boxes, causing more sparks of electricity to explode forth. Seeing a plan formulate in it's undead brain, the fiend touched against the wall next to the door and began its climb onto the ceiling like a strange monster spider. Knowing the noise created from the door against the panel box and the sight of the body, the puritan vampire hoped his prey would fall for his trap.

The noise up ahead caused the man to fall onto his knees and lower himself, his finger squeezing his trigger, but not enough to send a volley of UV bullets. Scanning every detail he could behind his goggles up ahead, Marcus wasn't able to distinguish anything specifically, though he could of sworn he saw some movement up ahead. Keeping his weapon poised and ready to fire, the man continued forward, but this time slower and with even more caution than before.
Impossible. That f*cker should still be fried and cooking. How the Hell did it manage to cover this much ground and be active? Should be dead or at least near death. The man reasoned as he kept his eyes peeled in front. Before long, he was a hundred yards away from the mouth of the tunnel to a wide opening beyond. "********." He cursed as he spotted through his holographic scope two headless body laying on the dry portion of the concrete tunnel. It was clear now that the vampire had indeed survived the attack and was probably much more stronger than he previously thought.
Slowing his breathing and attempting to keep control of his body's movement, the man carefully and slowly eased closer and closer to towards the mouth of the tunnel, his gun following his gaze as he sweeped it around the utility station he was about to enter. To his side there was a torn open way with noise of the city outside entering and across from that a torn panel boxes with a metal door twisted and broken near it. Keeping his weapon poised, Marcus went up along the wall, towards the panel box to keep his distance away from the open entrance as he peered through it to see if perhaps the vampire thought to ambush him by the doorway. Nothing. The room was dark and filled with thermal activity due to the electrical equipment. Despite this, the infrared had to overcompensate and with the flickering of sparks, static flickered here and there in his artificial vision.
"Don't tell me the motherf*cker got away..." The masked hunter grumbled as he kept his weapon poised and aimed towards to the doorway, guessing the vampire made a run for it.

Quiet and still like that of the ceiling, the silent vampire hung to the ceiling as though it was a part of it. In his position, the nude creature of the night could watch and see unfold as the heavily armored man made his way along the wall of the utility station from the tunnel to the panel. It was an awkward position and hard for the spider climbing vampire to move to. But that was alright. The hunter was actually the hunted and upon hearing the man's curse of him escaping, this only solidified his thoughts on his plans. The hunter didn't know he was still there and right above him.
Bearing an unseen toothy smile the vampire moved slightly as he got closer to the position where the strange looking hunter stood, calculating a variety of scenarios in his head. The urge to simply dive down and attack the man grew in him, but he knew better than to underestimate the hunter. He has had a run in with the hunter twice and in both encounters, he was the one who had to flee. The Immortal had to be smarter about this and though his primal urges had their uses, right now was not the best of time. Quiet and eager, the hanging vampire clung close to the ceiling and waited for the proper time to pounce. It was only a matter of time.

Though the man wanted to relax at the thought of the vampire not being there, Marcus thought against it, having that all too familiar sense that not everything was what it appeared. Keeping a firm grip on his weapon, Marcus lifted his goggles off his head and peered into the pitch black darkness with his human eyes, only slightly illuminated by the sparks from the broken panel boxes. Letting out a sigh, the man lowered his gun down some as he went to his right wrist where a strange LED light was wrapped around it. With a click of a button at the base of the small flashlight, the room was lit up, but not by normal LED light, but UV light. Using this light, Marcus scanned the darkness with his right wrist while his left hand held his automatic gun tucked beneath his arm and the barrel following the bright beam of blue light.
If anything of vampiric blood was in that room, it was going to experience a wicked pain as the room was brightened some by the UV light. Though the bulb wasn't enough to kill a vampire, it was enough to create a delay in which Marcus could finish off any undead fiends with his M-4.

Hissing like a serpent, the vampire's body ached all over, much like it had before his recent feed. It was the battle all over again as the stray beams of UV light hit the vampire's naked body, causing the inhuman bloodlust inside to gain the upper hand in control. Despite the naked vampire's attempts to remain in control, it couldn't be helped. Letting go of the ceiling to fall some distance away from the man, the vampire did a quick bum rush into the hunter, hoping to enclose the distance between them to spare him of being sprayed by bullets or by the ray of UV light.
"Die, human!" The monster hissed, its eyes now glowing bright red as his fingers twisted once more into talon-like claws. As soon as the distance would be closed, the beast with attempt to ravage the hunter, tearing for where his neck should be.

Though Marcus would usually be startled by the sudden appearance of a stark naked pale man with claw-like hands, his instinct and experience taught him better. Attempting to turn to face the sudden movement that occurred to his side, Marcus pulled the trigger of his gun, letting off several round before the unnaturally quick monster tackled him against the wall and down onto the ground. Struggling with his might and keeping his M-4 Carbine before him, Marcus did his best to avoid the claw strikes and block what he could with his rifle.
"Motherf*cker!" The human cursed as he felt a sting of pain as one claw strike tear into his shoulder, removing a nice portion of his heavy Kevlar armor. Though despite this, the wound wasn't as bad as it could of been. Despite the naked man being stronger than him, Marcus put up a good fight as he grappled with the vampire. Grunting and shifting his weight to keep his balance, the hunter attempted to twist his right arm into position, aiming to flash his UV light right into the vampire's face. Hopefully a full direct beam of UV would be enough to either blind the bloodlust fiend or knock it back to give the hunter time to gather his wits to shot the beast down.
"Wakey Wakey, sunshine!" Marcus laughed as he moved his wrist to shien the light at the vampire, preparing his senses for the awful stench the vampire skin would give off as it was burned by the ray of light.

Seeing through his human opponent's plan, the scarred skinned vampire twisted his head to avoid a direct beam of UV. Though despite this effort, the light did still burn his flesh, causing it to boil some as unprotected portion of his skin came into direct contact with the deadly light. Crying out in pain, but keeping his flurry of blows going, the long raven haired monster kept his fight as he quickly took a hold of the man's right wrist where the deadly light was being emitted from. Unable to switch it off nor break the little light, the vampire did the next best thing it could think of.
With minimal use of strength, the vampire tighten its grip on the wrist till he would expect a loud snapping of bones, aiming to inflict enough pain on the human to throw off the human's balance and finish him off.

The sound of his wrist bone snapping wasn't the only thing that echoed in the empty utility station. Marcus gave out a ghastly scream as pain flooded his brain. With widen eyes, he watched in horror as his hand went limp from the lack of bone support, causing the light to flash past the vampire's outstretched arm and finally direct the beam onto the floor. Holding back tears of hurt and struggling to keep his wit about him, Marcus lowered his left hand that held his rifle and allowed the monster to slash into his chest, knowing the thick Kevlar tactical vest should be able to hold off the vampire's attacks for a moment or so.
Shifting his weight, Marcus twisted his shoulder as he reposition the rifle in his hand onto the grip of the Carbine and leaned back some. "Motherf*cker!" He cursed, now having the muzzle pointed towards the vampire. Thrusting it forward some, the muzzle aimed to strike against the pale skinned vampire's chest. "Die!" The hunter then roared as he squeezed the trigger in succession with the thrust, aiming to blow huge holes of UV through the undead's chest with the Peacemaker. Keeping his finger tight around the trigger, Marcus kept firing until he would hear the locking of the bolt and the emptying of his UV round filled banana clip.

The scream from the human filled the vampire with ecstasy as he continued to crush the man's wrist, his eyes narrowing as the bloodlust slowly began to gain control of the Immortal. As his one hand did that, the other continued slashing at the now exposed man's chest and neck portion, somewhat disappointed the man was heavily armored, but that didn't remove the glee in each slash. Despite the beam of light from the UV, the vampire was able to push past the pain as he felt closer and closer to his goal. That was until the roar of the automatic rifle filled the room. What was once blissful delight now came blinding pain as the UV rounds from the rifle of the hunter tore into his chest and side. Eventually, time froze for the vampire as he felt a sudden cold feeling of numbness wash over his body as he lost his strength to continue his assault and crushing the man's arm.
Deep in his mind, the puritan priest that hunted the unnatural creatures of the night gave a brief smile as it felt freedom within grasp. Finally, his curse was going to be lifted and he would be free of his never-ending hunger and urge to do evil. That is, he prayed is what was going to happen as the shell of who he was was torn open by the human's modern weaponry. Finally, I shall be free of my sinful body. Then suddenly, a darkness swept in and ate the man that was the puritan Solomon Mathews. Never. And with that, the darkness continued to expand and grow till it was projected onto reality.
Unable to handle the damage given and not wanting to die, Solomon Mathews, once a man of God but now a child of the night, tapped into the infamous world of the Void. Closing his blood colored eyes, the torn vampire fell back as wisps of darkness snapped out of the large wounds created by the UV rounds. In a flurry of black movements, one tentacle lashed out and slammed against the hunter, aiming to launch him across the room. Covering the wounds as well were sheets of pure blackness that radiated nothingness in it. The UV beam that fluttered about from the broken wrist was quickly eaten by this Void energy as the vampire finally fell back onto the ground, its naked body slowly becoming covered by the emptiness of the Void.

Unsure what exactly was happening, all Marcus could recall or remember was his body in mid-flight in the air as he violently slammed against the concrete wall next to the broken exit. With ragged breathing and blood oozing from his nose and varies of wounds beneath his torn vest, Marcus heaved himself up some as he watched the strange turn of events. Only once had he seen something like this, and that was with his friend Veroen and his new found skills. Something was definitely wrong and the hunter highly doubted the vampire was laying back to die. With black tentacles emanating from the fallen pale skin vampire, Marcus once more had that feeling of dread fill his stomach. It was either that or blood.
"F*ck..." He cursed, using his M-4 to help initiate him getting up from the ground. Though he couldn't see through his black armor, the man knew several bones were probably broken and his face was probably black and blue from whatever-the-hell-that-thing-is smacking him across the room. "F*ck..." He mumbled again, the taste of copper in his mouth. Realizing he must of bitten his lip as he hit the wall, Marcus looked at the prone vampire as darkness seemed to swirl around him. This is definitely not good. Glancing around through the dimly lit room, Marcus grunted as he hoisted himself up and towards the doorway. Not bothering to look back, Marcus began his climb up several steps that would lead him from out of the utility station to the surface world.
I can't walk away from this...I need to do something! His thoughts race with ideas and plans, but as he did so, pulsing aches and pain intercept each idea as his breathing became harder and harder. Glancing down the doorway that was home to the strange naked vampire and its unusual black tentacles, Marcus sighed as he fell back and threw his good hand onto his chest. Entertaining himself with thoughts of how dumb it was for him to carry so much crap, Marcus gave a bloody grunt and rose up once more to move further away from the utility station up the stairs till he was up in the city air.
"I need to do something..." Glancing around his mangled body, Marcus realized he had his grenades. Grunting again at the slowness of his thinking, the bloody black masked hunter pulled free one canister of Willy P and pulled the pin. Looking down the stairwell that lead to the vampire and the utility station, Marcus spat and tossed it. With what energy and strength he could, Marcus rolled over away from the underground stairwell, knowing the explosion was going to be nasty and he wasn't in the mood to be cooked.

The sound of the metal cylinder bouncing down the stairwell into the utility room echoed, stirring the vampire's subconsciousness as the mysterious substance known as the Void probed along the unconscious puritan. Though his death was suppose to occur and his soul willingly accepting it, something dark and dreaded turned it away, accepting the pure bleak nothingness very few vampires were familiar with. Those who were used this strange powers in a variety of means, such as the Void Master that aided the Hunter Marcus. However, Solomon was not conscious when this sudden transformation occurred. Instead, all he remembered was UV bullets tearing into his soft flesh, melting away his skin as the UV light from the hunter's wrist hit him all over. Pain. Nothing but pain echoed his mind then, but now, there was nothing but stillness.
Finally hitting the last step, the cylinder filled with the high explosive known as White Phosphorus rolled further into the room, halting in roll as it got wedged into a crack in the cement. If the vampire could, he would of gotten up and exited that room in a blur thanks to his inhuman abilities, however, the Void in him held him steady, keeping him laying on the ground and several feet away from the explosive device. Inside his core being, the darkness stirred.
God no longer exists in this plane. You are in my world. Welcome to the Void. The voice was cold and eerily similar to the puritan's own. Unable to see a face or a source to the emotionless voice, fear began to swell up in the darkness, fear of the unknown. It was then a laugh of cruelness erupted from the emotion. Fear not the unknown. Embrace the darkness and I shall free you from your bounds. With that, a wave of warmth washed over the usually cold core of Solomon Mathews, a feeling only experienced in his entire life only once a few decades when he had a fresh virgin to eat. Feeling relaxed and willing, Solomon projected the thought of freedom, increasing the warmth in his mind.
Five seconds past, the timer within the metal cylinder touched the primer and thus caused the chemical reaction that unleashed the Hell-like explosion of burning fluids and intense heat. Quickly filling up the room and sucking all the air out of the area, the flames and heat roared along the walls and up the ceiling. Eventually it reached the area the young long haired nude man laid, about to eat up the body whole in the fiery inferno. But as soon as the licking heat and flames touched the skin of the paraffin man, a wisp of smoke exploded forth from the man and his body vanished. Instead, the deadly White Phosphorus ate everything else inside the room, torching the dead headless bodies and destroying what was left of the underground utility station.
