Roran hadn't cried, he refused to. So father knew. He always knew didn't he? That's why. I'm so stupid! I should've known it was him. I should've known.
When his door burst open, and then closed, he looked up, seeing Amaya. He was about to say 'hello', but her face and tears stopped him. As she began to cry, a weak smile spread across his face. Getting in a position to hold her comfortably, he wasn't sure what to say. As the rain began to fall again, he gently began to rock back and forth with her.
"My love, our worlds are crumbling. Yours is falling at a faster rate than mine. Your sisters are becoming independant and are all falling away from you. Vivian is going to die by a curse from a kingdom that isn't hers. You are flooded with responsibility from your father's death, and you have plenty of wounds that need to be given healing time." He spoke softly, cooly.
"For me, my father hates me now, I can no longer see my mother, I know why my mother killed herself, Syrva hates my guts, and my adored fiancee's life is going downhill with mine." Lifting her chin up momentarily, he pecked her lips, caressing her cheek. "The worst part is, we cannot do much to stop these things from happening."
"But what keeps me going, is that I know by the end of the day, before I fall asleep, I know that I will see you. Your calm, precious face, and that cute smile of yours. And, if I'm lucky, I even get a kiss. That moment, just being by your side at the end of the day, it keeps me alive, energized. It makes me want to live, just so I can, not only see you in the morning too, but also to be there again the next night, to see you again. And to top it off, the cherry on this sweet sundae, is the knowledge that my love for you, and your love for me, it will bring peace to our two kingdoms."
Chuckling, he kept her close, cherishing this moment, even if it was a sad one. "I will admit, in the begining, all I wanted was peace. I didn't know if I could ever love you, or if you'd even love me in return. To tell the truth, I thought we'd hate each other. But I was striving for peace, I still am. And then, I had thought that, even if we did hate each other, I'd live with you just to make the peace work. But then I got a big surprise and found that I love you, and even better, you love me too. That first moment where those three words, 'I love you', left your lips and entered my ears, I may have been the happiest man alive. And with each moment those words travel on your breath again, I feel that same feeling."
Kissing her forhead, he knew she had seen some type of ghost. It was that trace of white in the pupil. Roran remembered seeing that in his own eyes when he would look in the mirror after speaking to the four deceased Queens of Syra. "The one thing I want you to remember, is that I don't care what the people of Syra think of you, or what the people of Keros think of me. Yes, it would be nice if they accepted us, but I don't think that will happen for a long time. Just remember, that no matter what happens, you are always welcome in my arms, in my heart. Nothing you can do will make me feel different towards you."
Moving her hair from her face, his thumb ran down her cheek gently. "Amaya, I love you. It is simply put, and simple to say, but it means a lot. I love you."

After a long while of dummy torture, he decided to go back to the castle, "enough with the stress for one day" he said, but as he did, he crossed Amy's path, seeing her little sad expression, rolling his eyes he sighed, "did somebody hurt your feelings?" he said mockingly.

"But why did we start this fight in the first place?! Why do we have to hate eachother?! Why can't everyone just get along like you and I do!? I don't want my sister to suffer a fate that should belong to me! I want my sisters to just be happy like they used to." Amaya cried. She listen to him for a while and started to calm down. "I love you too...I really do..." She said, looking up at him as she smiled a little.

Amy sighed mumbling something to herself, before she turned to Akori, "ok, you know what?" she said, pulling her Katana and holding it to his neck "I am not going hold back because of the fact that you are the brother of my sister's fiancé, I am going to take the fact that you and I are from two VERY different kingdoms who are fighting a war, and I am going to defeat you to prove to you that you arent the smarted, most skilled fighter there is. I'm going to show you how pityly arrogant you are" she added, holding her Katana steady.

Sighing, he nodded. "That's the thing. We didn't start anything. Our ancestors did. And somehow, this war has come all the way to now. But parents taught children, who taught their children, that the opposing kingdom was evil, cruel, and deserved to die. This war is no one's fault. No one who lives today, anyways." Staying quiet for a few long moments, he wasn't sure what they could do. "Your sisters, they need to be home for a while, in my opinion. Amy hasn't been home since you first got here, neither has Aryana. Vivian.....well, she needs alone time. There is just too much going on here that they can't ever relax, to be happy. And that's what you need to. Some relax time. Time to be happy, to see life as it is, not as it was, or as you want it to be."
As her last words entered his ears, he felt that happiness he had spoken of. "I know you do. That's why you're going to make a great queen for both Keros and Syra. It is because you, a Princess from Keros, can love a Syrian Prince. That shows that you can love Syra, and Keros. That itself shows something greater. It shows that the villagers, the townsfolk, the farmers, the bartenders, the merchants, even the circus folk can learn to love the other kingdom. It will just take a matter of time before everything begins to look up."
At her smile, he kissed her again, but this time placed a little more love, a little more passion in it. "When the tides turn towards peace, that is when everyone will be happy. There will be no more widows, no more families with dead sons, no more death. Syrians and the people of Keros will live together, sell together, shop together, eat together, dance together, and overall share their cultures with each other. Syrians will be in the Keros market, while Keros's people will be in Syra's market. And this peace that will last forever, or so we hope, will all be because of us. Our sacrifices, our rewards, peace will come because of us."

She agred quietly, laying her head on his chest. She was happy to be there with him, because he understood everything, but the happy mood was soon ruined when Kaname kicked down the door, holding Amaya's clothes for her secret warrior side. "Queen Amaryllis! You must return to Keros! The general has lost it and angered all of the strikers in the forest! They're going to destroy everything!" Kaname screamed, throwing the clothes to the queen.
"Strikers?! Has he gone mad?!" Amaya screamed taking the clothes and quickly changing. "I'm so sorry Roran. Please make sure my sisters return home safely. I must go now." She said as she looked at him sadly. Amaya kissed him passionately before pulling up her face mask and running out of the room. "Kaname will explain and stay here to help!" She called before she dissappeared from sight.
Sprinting to the stables, she hopped onto Crow's back and they cantered out of the stables, heading for Keros, where a dark cloud was hanging over the giant forest.

As Amaya ran off, Roran jumped to his feet. "What's going on? Strikers? What is she about to do? Please don't say battle. Please," he prayed silently, turning to Kaname. "Well? What is she off to do now?"

Vivian woke, feeling hot and cold, weak too. The doctors hadn't moved the rings, hair, or dagger from her hands, probably knowing that she would pitch a fit if they weren't there when she woke. Looking to her right, she saw, or thought she saw, Christoph sitting there. Shifting, she reached out a hand to touch his face, passing through the image. But he still remained. "Christoph?" She whispered, blinking through her heavy eyelids. He just shook his head, closing her eyes as she felt that cold sensation on her hand. He was a ghost that she could see, that she was grateful for. Returning to her sleep, the docs came over to give her some more medication to help her get better, Christoph's ghost remaining to watch over his tortured love.

Amy fought back, trying to fend off his swings as best she could, though he was indeed a skilled fighter, "wel..." she tried to say while fighting him, "then I guess I was wrong" she said, swinging her Katana at him.

"Strikers are nasty, dragon-like creatures that reside in Keros. They have short tempers and are very destructive. The royal family made a pact with the strikers , bringing peace to the land as long as both left eachother alone. The ruling queen is marked by the strikers with a cresent moon on their right shoulder, and only they can pass into the territory without conflict. The General has commited treason in hopes of bringing down royal family and Syra and angered the Strikers. The only one who can stop them is Queen Amaryllis...and there's a chance she won't be able to calm the beasts...in which case, they will kill her..." Kaname told Roran, sighing a little. "The last time they were angered, Queen Amaryllis' mother was killed, though she never told her sisters that story. Queen Amaryllis was marked at birth to save her sisters from the fate. The queen of Keros is the only one able to understand the strikers, but not all get along. With our General there to make sure the queen has a hard time, I worry that she will make it out of the battle alive..."

Akori's expression was more serious now, "well I guess you were wrong then" he said, his voice sounding aroused. He swung his blade at her, cutting her on her left arm. Ducking her attacks, and pushing her agains tthe castle wall.

Amy was poushed against the wall, and their swords were crossed, blades stopping the other from cutting through them. "Is that so yea? you really are the last piece of s**t" she said, lifting her foot, and kicking him in his stomach so hard that it pushed him back, she attacked him, forgetting about the wound on her left arm. After some time, she finally got to cut his thigh after ducking one of his attacks.
