Hey eye's narrowed as she heard this and she turned around and looked at the man who spoke. She noted his tongue becoming forked, and clung to the blade with her right hand. She looked back to the strange man with the third eye and then raised her eyebrow at this. She had heard legends of such beings and strange creatures before of course non of this was true except for the few her father had told her stories about as a child. She studied them both for a second then wisely chose her words.

"I am reminded of an old saying my father would tell me as a toddler...
Beware of what the serpant says for it may one day kill you..."

Her voice had changed for a second to that of a woman older then herself (no not an old woman just older). Her deep blue eyes, which seemed to match the color of the waves which were crashing on the shore, would blink and then look away from the two men. She would give a half bow and went to walk away from the two men, "Good day gentlemen..."

She would walk slowly through the sand, which would feel like it was on fire to normal humans, but for some reason she could not feel the scorching sand beneath her bare feet, as she began to walk away.

Alice would raise her eyebrow at the man, still clutching the sword tightly in her hand. The black aura would seem to engulf her arm slowly as she clung to it. When she heard the worry in his voice, she stopped and looked confused for a moment. Why did he care? Since when did strangers care for other's well being without wanting something in return. Her grip on the sword began to loosen as she looked at the strange man in front of her.

"Why would you care about such things...? Is this world really that much more dangerous then the world I came from?"

She stopped and waited for his reply, and wondered if she even consider mentioning that she was shoved off the roof of her highschool gym by a group of guys as a mean joke, and then fell into a pool. For all she knew she was already dead, or dreaming this all up. She looked down her dark blue eyes filling with tears.

She would look into his eye's and feel a bit akward for a moment. She couldn't help but blush from embarrassment. She had been behaving like a horse's rear end and there for felt angry at herself. She looked up at him and said softly,

"Your respect shouldn't be wasted on someone like me who does not deserve it. My father taught me that respect should be earned no a right to a person..."

She would look up sadly to Jor, "I'm sorry for my behavior... "

Alice would blink as she heard those names, for some reason she knew she had heard of those names before but wasn't quite sure where. The sword she was clutching in her right hand would start to give off a red aura.

Alice's oddly colored eyes would look over to Ankou and over to Jor. A strange symbol would appear quickly in her left eye and then disappear as quickly as it appeared. She studdied over Jor carefully as she heard his regaurd towards his own sister, it wasn't too often she heard someone take no heed to the saftey of their own blood. This must be the way of the world she had found herself in, wether it be a dream or some odd twist of fate, it still didn't seem right. She'd sit down on the sand cross legged and watched the two for awhile. Was his sister a pyromaniac? Or was she able to light things on fire with sheer will power. She wondered as she watched the strange man claiming to be older then he looked and the strange man that stood before her with odd colored eyes and a forked tongue.

"In that case... shouldn't you be more concerned with the safety of the poor forest and the many things that live there...? That is if all living beings automaticly deserve respect? Wouldn't that also include you sister?"

She would speak softly and it was more a direct question to herself then to anyone around her.

Alice shrugged, and began to ponder again in her own thoughts. She thought she must obviously be way younger then Jor, for him to call her a child. Second why was there such a debate over his sister? If she wasn't in any danger and if she wasn't a threat then why would "Ankou", if that was his real name, even be worried? The man named Jor had made it obvious that his sister was in nor danger, nor was she a danger to those around her.

She twiddled her tumbs as she held her hands together and reached into her pockets. Her eyes widened as she felt a box in her pocket and pulled it out to find a box of strawberry pocky in it. She opened the sea water soaked box and poped out of the strawberry coated cookies into her mouth and began to nibble it in delight. She then seemed to go back to her thinking, and looked out to the vast ocean that lay before them. If she was infact in another world... then how would she get home? 'What a bother...' she thought to herself. She wouldn't make it home for her after noon tea and her tea maid said she would make chai tea today. 'curses...'
She then thought seriously about the situation. Where would she go? And where would she get the money to take care of herself here? Do they take the same currency they spent in Europe over in this world? Thousands of questions rushed through her mind like a school of frightened fish.

She munched on her pocky slowly, then she looked over to "Ankou" and Jor. 'Hmm I wonder...'

"Your being really quiet miss are you alright?" Ankou asked Alice out of honest concern. She reminded him a lot of his wife Isis, but not nearly as scary I mean after all The Women who married into this family and those that were born into were perhaps even scarier then the men they just didn't show it as much. Especially his Daughter in law who while she was a beautiful genius to match her husband in most ways she wasn't nearly as flamboyant as her husband who made the color black look equally stylish and gaudy at the same time. His whole wardrobe was in fact black.

"I haven't visited France since the area of france I was born in was called Little Britain and I was feared as a Psychopomp. My friend Jack from england had a similar problem, but his powers are far harder to control, so does my Son, but at least his power his limited to his hands and touch. His control is also the greatest of all of our little group. Anyway sorry for getting off topic, but how do you expect the modern national currency of Europe to be accepted in another land much less a word out side the existence you know of. I don't know of any Inns around here, but I do know of this place in the city of Aekea. I know the owner personally and I probably get you a free room, but you'll probably have to work there in exchange. It's called the Dryad Inn and despite it''s name is very unusual, but pleasing mix of ideas. " Ankou replied hoping Alice would be able to take all of that information.
