Quickly, Madi's ears perked up at the sign of the voice. She just heard it, the voice belonged to that young lady that she heard earlier. It had to be, who else would it beling to....Ryugi getting a sex change?

She soon quickly peered over the edge and looked down at the young woman who stood below. She cocked her head to the side and wondered on what possibly this young lady would want.

"AHOY THERE! How May I be Assisting you today?" replied the young girl as she tried to learn her sea lingo down, but really it sounded rather silly. She smirked to herself once more as she looked down around the woman to see that there were more than just her, but a whole army.

Madi stood there for a moment with this exact reaction: eek

It's not everyday you get your ship invaded while it was still docked.

The announcer girl blinked as Reiko walked away from Silver. She took a deep breath and yelled.

"Hold it Reiko! The fight's not over! As you can see, the challenger is still standing?"

"He's delirious, he's in no condition to fight me anymore."

Reiko had stopped walking now. He took off his shirt and his tie and turned around. The look on his face was some crazy smile. Reiko wasn't the type to go psycho, but he was gonna go extreme on anyone who refused to get up.

>8]

He looked at Silver and spread his arms wide, as if to show all of his openings.

"DO YOUR WORST!"

"I think your the delirious one."

Silver wasn't stupid. He could be fooled twice, but not three times. He gathered up what remained of his energy and created the energy lance again. He would dash forward and appear to attempt the same attack once more. However, this was a ploy to get Reiko to try and counter him. If Reiko didn't hit him, well.... then he'd be hit by something quiet different.

"I think i'm assisting you - you forgot your crew!" Meryl replied with a laugh before turning to the men behind her. "There's your new leader. Do whatever she tells you to do."

Reaching behind her she pulled out another pouch of gold, tossing it to the first mate. "Divvy that amongst yourselves. It's more then enough for three voyages - i'm counting on you to take care of her and the ship."

The first mate looked down at the bag in awe before looking at the young woman again. "W-who are you, lady?"

Meryl smirked, her arms dissapearing as her cloak flowed still around her. "The name Tomorrow ring any bells?"

Bug eyes stared at her as every single man paused at their pawing at the pouch to gaze in wonder at the girl.

"Thought so..." Meryl said with a smirk, before turning around to look up at the girl on the ship. "You've got a ship, an honest crew - as honest as they'll get, anyways - so i guess you're all set."

"Thank You Ms...Uh" Madi was still unsure of her name. But so far she had helped her so many many times and thus she still didn't know anything about her. Shortly Madi scuttled down onto the dock to take a look at her crew.

Some of the members gave the young rabbit a few odd looks as though that this voyage might be crazy. But she didn't really mind for she was used to the looks of people thinking that she was strange. Madi soon wandered up to the First Mate and took a good look at him.

Yes, He had the qualities of the first mate that she was looking for; tall, strong, full of knowledge. This was going to be an excellent journey. The rabbit soon turned to face the mysterious assistant and bowed as though she were a gentleman.

"If there's anything you are needing, I will be gladly able to assist you. For I, Madison, now owes you her services."

Reiko put his arms down, turning slightly sideways. His left fist came up to about his collar and then he sighed. It came down out and down to shoulder level, and his legs bent with his right fist at his hip.

I no longer need to put ki into projecting my energy at my opponents. Only into my fist.

Parlor tricks?

"I will have to end this so you understand.... the difference in our skill."

The announcer stepped far back to another side of the pit away from Silver and Reiko's area. Her eyes widened as she shouted into the microphone.

"This seems like it's going to be the final clash folks! Silver's coming with the same attack for a third time, but Reiko doesn't seem to be budging! Is he going to take the attack head on?!"

"You dont owe me anything, Madison." Meryl said to the girl with a small smile, reaching out to stroke one of her fluffy ears. "You needed help. I helped. It's what i'm here for."

She lowered her hand so it was enveloped in that dark black cloak once more as she turned to go...before pausing, turning her head to look down to the little bunny. "...And my name is Tomorrow. Meryl Tomorrow."

With that Meryl walked away, feeling slightly better with the world, her good deed done for today.

Tonight would be different, however.

Tonight she was on patrol.

Silver's eyes flashed. A split second before he would normally swing, Silver did a running slide to knock Reiko over. Grinning, he would eaisily come to a stand upon the slids completion, though he used up most of his stored energy with the fake. There probably wouldn't be enough time to summon up an energy attack again.

"Gotchya..."

Reiko stepped to the side and reached down with both hands to snatch Silver up off the ground as he fully entered into his slide. Then he swung him over head to slam him hard into the ground on the other side of himself.

"It ends here!"

Then his right hand reared back and thrusted it with extreme force into Silver's solar plexus to knock the wind out of him completely.

Silver was knocked down. He tried to get up, but he had the wind completely knocked out of him. He could see what was going around, it was just that his body did not want to move at that moment.

It was begining to get hard to breath, and Silver mentally refused to lose without more of a fight. He leaned up slightly, and slowly staggered to a stand. Though by this time the match would probably be considered over.

(( So I can assume that you were either completely out of reasonable response, or you were down for a complete 10 count? ))

"Get up! Get up!" A portion of the crowd chanted in Silver's favor as he lay on the ground motionless.

Reiko turned away and started to exit as the announcer ran over to Silver and loomed over his face. She waved her hand over his eyes and blinked. She stood back up and shouted into the microphone.

"HE'S OUT!"

The crowd began to roar with excitement from the fight. Some even threw things like hats and such in the air, unable to contain their excitement.

"Wasn't that a great fight! You can only witness such a bout here in Latent's Underground Arena!"

She ran over to Reiko and hopped on his back. She laughed and then spoke into the microphone as she addressed Reiko.

"You've just won your second fight with barely any rest! Congratulations! How do you feel?!"

She put her hand bearing the microphone around to Reiko's mouth, prompting him to answer. Reiko was silent for a second, and then he laughed.

"JUST ANOTHER FIGHT I WAS SURE TO WIN! I AM THE WORLD CHAMPION! THERE ISN'T A MAN ALIVE WHO CAN DEFEAT ME!"

He did a macho like pose as the announcer laughed and the crowd cheered.

"I'M ALWAYS READY! ANYTIME ANYWHERE!"

Silver got up very shortly after his defeat had been claimed, though he hardly complained. Grinning to himself, it had been a good fight. He walked over to congradulate Reiko, as cocky as the world champion was.

"Good fight, Reiko. I hope to do it again sometime."

Though Silver admitted to himself that he had a lot to learn in the ways of unarmed combat before he could face Reiko again, but he was determined not only to match Reikos power, but to defeat him. After all, if he can't beat Reiko, then there's no way he'll be able to take on the Council.

Meryl sighed. If there was one thing she hated besides braggards, it was one that actually had something to brag about. Typical male...

Looking about her with a slight grimace on her face, the crowd roared and cheers for some strange reason, causing her to sniff the air. Perhaps some kind of hallucinogin or hyperactive substance sent into the air? Maybe the man had spiked the people's drinking water with a special magic designed specifically to make them applaud only him.

Whatever the reason, she'd wasted two gold getting into this bloody place, and she wasn't going to leave until she'd found her target - a manager by the name of Golden Sting, an old fighter who had added kidnapping and gun-smuggling to his already long list of crimes.

She sighed again. Those poor Sheilds...just like every other police force on the planet, they were tasked to handle massive amounts of crime with very few resources and man power. It was why the Gaian government had made wetwork enforcement units like the one Meryl was party to...to help ease the load by moving through places the Sheilds and Spears couldn't move, using methods that were not allowed by their code of conduct.

Of course, if she wished, she could have been just as brutal as her father...but Meryl beleived in the system which he had lost faith in. The Justice system, where a person was judged by a jury of his peers, was a fair one in her own opinion. Which was why she tended to leave most of her perps trussed up outside the local police station with enough evidence for them to make a hard, solid case for them to prosecute.

...Of course, busting a few skulls here and there wasn't such a major issue. The odd lost limb was always replaceable thanks to the magic being used in todays hospitals. Hell, even a decapitation could be reversed given a strong medic.

...But that kind of violence was last-resort material. Honest. wink

"You might want to try some safer attacks, y'know?"

Reiko looked at Silver and gave him a thumbs up. Then he turned and headed back through his side's entrance with his hands in his pockets. The announcer was still on his back, which was odd, didn't she have a job to do there and not following Reiko?

The announcer leaned back off Reiko slightly and spoke to the crowd.

"We'll be taking a short intermission while I 'talk' *wink* to our newest prodigy"

She leaned back up and threw her arms around Reiko's neck. As he exited the pit into the manager's area. They were both greeted once again by Sakagami, and other associates that Reiko hadn't gotten to know yet.

"Well, champion, you've just made us 100 million dollars richer. How do you feel about that?"

"I should've seen that coming. Me, making money for other people. Do I have a wife and kids now?"

"I'm sure from your many, worldwide championship bouts that you have more than enough money without us paying you."

"So I am a slave now?" He looked at the announcer. "Were you in on it too?"

"No! No! I'm just a working gal!"

Reiko started at her for a second and then looked at Sakagami. They sat silent staring at eachother for a while, almost as if they were communicating telepathically.

You work for us.

Only on my terms.

"I already told you..."

"Do you plan to go through me Reiko? Have you forgotten why you chose that name in the first place? Have you forgotten who I am?"

"I fight on my own terms. So I'll go through you if I need to." Reiko looked away from the original. "As for now... just tell me who I fight next."

It was nearly dusk as the new profound crew of The Mad Killer chatted away about the rumours that they heard so far about their new fearless captain. When they mean fearless at this point, they mean pathetic. Alot of them even knew themselves that they could take the captain down quite easily but there was a minor problem, first mate Johnathon Wales wouldn't allow it.

Johnathon was a stapping young lad with long dark dread locks which reached the bottoms of his shoulder blades. With beads located on here and there within his dreads in his lengthened goatee, to keep his long wild hair out of the way a faded blue bandana held it just enough so it wouldn't cause him any problems. His outfit consisted of a white baggy with a long dark coat covering the top of it. Across his menacing chest a large buckle hung loosely and happily stood out. Though he didn't really seem like something to fear...he was a scary sight and the entire crew knew it.

*~*~*~*

Quietly within the captain's quarters, Madi sat on her new bed with the beautiful silk sheets. For once she had a bed that was actually worth for someone to sleep in, before it was old rags or even nothing at all but the bear floor. Her nose twitched as she looked up where Johnathon stood proudly watching over her making sure she was alright.

"Exicted Miss Madison?" questioned the first mate as he began to examine what was around in the room. With every pace he made his black ebony boots clicked on the floor causing a echo within the room. He soon freezed as he looked at a picture of the previous captain before her which made him shudder on the spot.

"Just Alittle Nervous, Mr. Wales...this is after all my first voyage and crew" replied Madi as she twidled her thumbs together nervously. She wasn't born to lead a group of people and even she knew that, but that's probably why she had a first mate who knew a thing or two about the great ocean before them.

"There's Nothing to Fear, Love. The Lady of the Sea shall be kind to us...I know it. I can feel it within my bones."

"I wasn't worried about the sea Wales, it's the crew. I have an odd feeling running through my blood." Replied the rabbit as she looked down at the ground now, she could feel embarrassment and shame filling inside her. Slowly , Johnathon knelt down to her eye level with a kind and sincere smile on his face. He knew that she was frightened, it was evident. The sailor soon reached and touched her chin lightly causing her to look up at him.

"I promise you nothing will happen to you or your ship. I made a promise to Lady Tomorrow to keep you Safe, and that's what I shall do. Even if it kills me." With that note of reassurance the young girl smiled brightly knowing that she felt rather safe within the care of Johnathon Wales.

"Aye, We sail at dawn, Mr. Wales." smiled Madi with somewhat of a captain's tone to her. He quickly kissed Madi on the forehead as though she was a young infant and got up to leave.

"Good Night Captain."

"Good Night Mr. Wales."

And so with that Johnothan left the room, leaving the young one to herself. Feeling much more content now, she crawled over to the desk on her map upon it. Deciding which route would be the easiest.

*~*~*~*~*

Down below, beneathe the deck it seemed that the crew were having somesort of a meeting. Each one of them seemed eagerly waiting upon to hear what Johnathon was planning. He had something up his sleeve now the matter is what was it.

The chattering came to a still as John finally reached his mates, slowly he moved to the front of them where the Grog rested. He leaned upon it as though it were a potium of somesort and looked at his fellow companions with a grin on his face.

"Well John!?! What's the Scoop?" Asked a one eyed man as he looked eagirly towards the front. Many of the crew mates murmured trying to understand what was going on. Johnathon slowly raised his hand to create silence once more as though he was the next mossaih or something.

"My fellow Crew Mates, she's infact has out trust."

With that said, cheering came from below as they soon began to celebrate. As their young captain remained oblivious to the entire celebration below her deck.
