Neo smiled graciously up at Jean-Claude, inclining his head in greeting.
"yes your club seems to have a hold on me Jean-Claude, such a nuisance" he added the last part jokingly, a pleasant smile indictating so. Neo turned his gaze to his best friend, who was looking at Jean-Claude curiously, one hand twisting his braided silver-blonde strands nervously.
"this is Jay Merlin, my best friend" he introduced a hand gesturing towards the blonde. Jay smiled a little at Jean-Cluade, his gray eyes searching the others gaze.

Jean-claude bowed gracefully. "A pleasure to meet you Jay Merlin."
Jay's searching of his gaze, caught the Master of the City off guard. Very few stared him directly in the eyes. He straightened with that confused look in his eye.
He had heard through a few links that his best friend, Asher, had gained a new human servant. Was this him?

"Do you....know Asher??" Jay asked, watching the bewildered look flit across Jean-Claude's features. He was guessing looking him in the eye was a big no-no or something. Neo didn't do it, and few others did either. But he looked both Asher and Jean-Claude in the eye, was being a human servant protecting him somehow??
Neo watched the two curiously, both seemed to be thinking.

That stillness the oldest of vampries mastered, showed through as he regarded Jay quietly. He knew Asher? Whilst he was happy for his long time friend, it was still a bit of a shock, however he was calm about it.
He smiled then, a small twitch of the lip as he gave this perfect fangless smile. "Oui, I know Asher. You must be his new human servant." He nodded in his mind. He felt it around him. Jay only bared the first mark of being a human servant, enough to give him some protection from vampires..

Jay--by now-- was used to Asher being perfectly still, so the fact Jean-Claude did it didn't shock or intrigue him. He just knew it could be done. He kept his gaze level with Jean-Claude's the ash gray a smoldering of friendliness, innocence and intrigue. His eyes were his most expressive feature.
"hai, I am" Jay answered pleasantly, well Jean-Claude didn't seem bothered. That was a plus, and he felt a like towards the master vampire, two pluses. Wow, a vampire on a roll, interesting. Neo by now had turned his attention to the stage.

By the time Neo's attention was on stage, 'Brandon' had made his appearance and was starting the show, a small sexy smile in place that lit up his lilac eyes.
Jean-Claude bowed his head. "Enjoy the show, mon ami." He would see him afterwards...this he was sure of.

Jay nodded his head and turned to watch, Neo seemed engrossed and he had to admit the person on stage was very attractive, very, very attractive. He was glad Asher and Raven agreed to let him unwind after his last project, he was just on diaper duty tomorrow for it.
"he's hot"
"Mhmm.."
"he is"
"I know"
"ooh wanna call him when its time??"
"whats he do then??"
"comes to our table and does stuff"

"extra money 'suppose"

Jean-claude had disappeared to keep an eye on everything from a distance.
'Brandon' was doing his usual thing, teasing the audience with a slow taking off of his shirt, grinning all the while and amazing the audience as his hair moved with a flowing and living grace of its' own as it cascaded and surrounded his form, hiding his back on the world as she gave little peeks of his bare chest.

Jay diverted his gaze, Neo kept it. This seemed a tad too tacky for his tastes, now he wanted to go home and curl up with Asher. He looked down at his drink, why had he ordered bacardi and coke again?? oh, he had it at the twins first party.

'Brandon' continued his part in the show, leading on a good 15 minutes to an hour, or so how the audience would feel it. He sauntered off stage in the quiet feline way of his as he disappeared behind the black draperies.

Neo was grinning from ear to ear as he sat back, crossing one leg gracefully over the other and sipped at his cognac. Jay had his old habit of folding his legs infront of him in place, and was sat up on the seat, his legs bent infront of him, feet on the seat also.
"how was it?"
"okay I guess"
"wasn't he hot??"
Jay shrugged and Neo pouted.
"you got bored again"
"just a little"
"why??"
"I like conversation better"
"so you enjoyed talking to Jean-Claude??" Neo grinned.
Jay looked defensively at him "I didn't say that" he bit back.

"I hope he was to your liking. He is one of our best in this particular club."
This came from the black velvet voice that was just an octive higher then Asher's, belonging to Jean-claude. He had little problem with his appearance...as long as he had the right outfit in the right colors.
Other then the note of concern as a manager and business owner, Jean-claude didn't let up on anything else, keeping everything from his voice and face as he stepped forth from a set of shadows.

"he was good" Jay answered, not looking at Jean-Claude this time, well directly in the face that is. He kept his eyes to Jean-Claude's chest, thinking he'd offended the other by thwarting his eye-contact abilities.
"though I prefer conversation and paints to strip shows and dances" he added afterwards, his tone light to show there was no ill-intent in his comment.

Jean-claude gave the faintest of a smile. "You are new to this scene, oui?"
Asher strolled through the door, having sought something at the club, perhaps a chance of visiting his friend before spending time with his lover. Asher blinked as he watched from behind Neo and Jay, that stillness happening again.

Jay again felt like he'd got onto the bad side of Jean-Claude and fell silent, his hands moving to fiddle with his long hair as he nodded slowly. He looked to Neo who was staring at him before flicking his eyes to Jean-Claude though he wouldn't look the other in the eye.
"y-yes..." Jay finally managed, after finding his voice again, though it was shaky. He hadn't been out in a while and suddenyl felt himself feeling a tad overwhelmed. He really needed a drink to get rid of the dry feeling in his mouth.
