5 divided by 0 is dividing by nothing, thus the number does not change and remains 5, not 1. This is true for all numbers.
But this was supposed to end some time ago yes?

ACTUALLY 5^0 =1 5/0 =0
5 out of nothing IE 5 divided by 0 = 0

Bah, w/e. I'm just going by what my last math teacher told me. She's a calculus professor at a local college and teaches a few other math classes on the side.

Well more power to you then. Though I am very capable of learning much higher levels of math, I refuse to do so unless absolutely necessary due to the fact that it takes me SOOOO long because of my dyslexia. I can't even trust myself to apply for a cashier job because of it.
If we're going to continue this, let's take it to the chat room. Otherwise... enough said?
