im trying to plan a tyranid kill team, and i suddenly realised that there are no synapse creatures that are allowed.
do i have to stick with genestealers? if i do, i think i'll make one with guard, and personalise them more.

Holy crap Snoozy. This isn't the Chatterbox in the main forums, and it isn't a chatroom. Calm down, type all your questions comments in one post and come back after a day or two to find some people replying to your post(s). You won't get any instant replies, and spam is frowned upon in the non-Chatterbox areas of this guild. Well, yes. But Kill Team is all about breaking rules and ignoring other rules. You can always ask your opponent if you can ignore Instinctive Behavior for the purposes of Kill Team, or use the White Dwarf suggestion and use a pair of Lictors as a Kill Team.

Poodle dude Pontius Pirate Poodle dude I think gene stealers are the best core units in 40K they cost a lot, but ******** there good, can't wait till i got al that cities of death stuff so my swarm can devour a new world in battle domokun Mine always get exploded before the killing happens, even with gaunts in front. well that sucks...put your hormo gaunts front and your gene stealers way back next time... domokun I guess I just wasn't using them right, or maybe just not enough of them. Now I use about 20 of them, and I keep them out of line of sight until they are within boning range, and it works like a charm. I would actually go so far as to say that using genestealers is cheese city. They're just too good.

I use the standard ext. carapace and scything talons biomorphs, along with flesh hooks for cityfight stuff. I don't use a Broodlord often, as he tends to be the center of attention for the first couple of turns.
