Burning Disaster ((S'all good. Blitz doesn't quite trust her at the moment. He's got a 3 week policy of not trusting anyone he turned down because they might be carrying a grudge of some sort and try killing him or handing him into the police... Girls are mean like that.)) He drank a bit. It was a bit fruitier than he was used to, but that was a good thing. "That depends on who the guy is."She punched him on the arm, "It's you, silly," she grinned. "I was thinking about what you said before..." she said, suddenly more serious.

Jenny Bones Louise gave a quiet snort and looked at him through her bangs, one eye shinning through. “Gee, ya think?” Tossing her hair off of her face with a flick of her head she continued to sulk and be catty. So much for this s**t…

"I said what I said not as an excuse, but because I really don't think it will work between us." "I meant the part about how you and any one person wouldn't work." She watched him as she spoke...the potion didn't seem to be having any effect...

"Did you seriously try?" She regarded her drink for a moment, and his empty glass. "This is a bit strong for me, you want a soda?" She moved around the bar and poured two sodas, dosing each with half the remaining potion.

"No thanks Laurel. I'm good for now." Which was true, he had been drinking all night and it was getting to him. Drinking anymore before peeing would probably be bad. "But to be honest, I didn't try. I never do. That's partly why it doesnt work."
