Janani was going to ask Cross what bandages and slings were, but she decided against it. She's more amazed by what she sees in her room. Everything was designed just right for her... She smiles as she get into bed and slips into a blissful slumber. It's some hours later, that she care not count. Celestial Shards aren't as concerned about time as humans. Yawning, Janani stretches. Too late, she remembers the gash that demon caused in her right shoulder. Shuddering in pain, she lets out a small yelp.

My arm...feels better...

Janani's about to jump up and shout about, joyous as a giddy schoolgirl, but she thinks better of it. She picks up WhiteRose and goes about seeing if there are any clothe she likes. Sure enough, Cross was right. She puts on what she finds and proceeds to hug her Cat Plushie tight to her chest. She wonders if she should leave the room or await Cross checking up on her... Janani giggles at the prospect. He's an intriguing human. He's a relic from history. She thinks on that, for a moment. She was so young when pirates roamed. She may still be young, not even old enough to be Quickened. Janani sighs. She looks at WhiteRose.

It's good you're not hurt... It wouldn't be good for me if you were hurt...

Janani nearly jumps at the sudden knock coming to her door and lets out a slight yelp. Her heart is pounding as the noise reminds her of when she was attacked... Remembering her meditation and breathing lessons, she calms herself and stablizes her breathing. After a moment, she reclaims a seeming calm demeanor and plasters a smile on her face. It's a facade, but it'd be better than a scared, lonely girl's expression. Janani walks over to the door and opens it. She almost attempts to with her right hand, but her arm hardly moves. She nods when she sees Cross.

Hi! My arm feels a whole lot better.

You humans are strange with your obsession with clothing... Teehee... It's very interesting to observe, though!

Janani seems in a better mood. Perhaps she's back to normal. She wonders how the clothes she has look any different to Cross, though. They are exactly the same as before. She might have shrugged, but she'd rather not insult him. Though younger, he is still her elder. He is also human. Janani then wonders at his question about the...dressings. Whatever they are, Cross seems interested in them...

Dress...ings?

Cross had explained, to an extent, bandages and sling, but Janani never heard the term "dressings" before. She looks at him, head tilted to one side and her deep, seductive eyes blinking. She's not trying to look any different, but the natural charisma and beauty of a Celestial Shard is hard to ignore. She fluffs back her strange, purple hair as she tries to guess what he means. Janani then realizes it's rude to simply leave him standing in the hallway.

Oh! I'm sorry! You can come in, Cross. Besides, I'm sure this...dressing you're looking for is in here...if this place, the Brink was it?, really has everything one needs...

Janani tilts her head. She still doesn't get what Cross is talking about. Her arm feels so much better. The...bandages? are what're keeping her from inspecting where the wound is. She's not even sure if the injury is still present. She only feels a sore and a bit stiff. As she walks towards the bed -- in very quick, long strides, Janani places WhiteRose on her head. As she moves and finally sits, the Cat Plushie doesn't seem to move...at all.

What is that box? What's inside it? What's the roll of...clothe? you're holding?

Janani's asking a million questions a second; it would seem. She's never been treated by medicine. A Celestial Shard has never experianced a survivable wound that was not treated with binding. Whatever the case, her curiosity has gotten her attention off the constant, though light, pain in her right shoulder.

*Maggie starts slightly in surprise, but her first instinct is to return the kiss, so she does . . . until, somewhere in the back of her mind, she recalls that Luke only just went to check the main room.*

*She breaks off the kiss, flushed and a little breathless, to remind him* Bard, we . . . ehm, that is . . . Luke will be back any moment . . .

*Maggie goes completely red as he latches the door shut. That was not exactly the reaction she was expecting . . . and next thing she knows she's in his arms again. *

*She just looks at him for a moment, her thoughts and feelings still racing after all that's happened in her time and here. She drops her gaze to her hands, seeing the scratches there. They're mostly healed now, but they're still evidence that what happened was real. The Seraphim really found a way to her time, tried to take her son, tried to kill them both . . . *

*Maggie meets Bard's eyes again, her expression intense. However wrong this might be considered in her time . . . right now she just doesn't give a damn. She locks her arms around his neck and kisses him again, almost fiercely.*

*Maggie holds on to him tightly, struggling to get a grip on her own feelings.* I love ye, too, Bard, I . . *her voice comes out almost strained. The more she thinks about what happened - and worse, what might have happened . . . the anger she felt in that moment comes rushing back to her, and now that the danger has passed, it's more than she knows what to do with*

God in Heaven, I just . . . *she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself, to draw a sense of calm from the feeling of his arms around her.*
