They didn't stop. Slowly, any infected close to Rep simply stopped attacking each other and moved towards him.

IF YOU ARE INFECTED and Rep is in the same area as you - you are irresistibly drawn to attacking Rep. It's almost as if someone is telling you to
Rep can also try to escape the current predicament. Roll 1d6, if he rolls 1 or 6 he escapes. Keep on rolling until he does (but he takes -2 damage per attempt).

[COURTYARD -> BEACH]
"FUUUUUUUCK" was Rep's battle cry as he realised that most of the courtyard really ******** was going after him. It had been hopeless with Tracey and the level of hopelessness involved with him just as a human was insurmountable. He had to run. He had to get out of there.
He twisted free of the group that was immediately going after him and like greased lightning cut across the courtyard, slashing and punching his way through the horde as best he possibly could, intentionally beelining towards Oliver to smack the other man with the shard before scrambling towards the beach.
The rake of clawlike hands on one of his thighs forced him to stumble and he careened right into Robert.
he said out of reflex before getting to his feet again and running flat out in the direction of the shore which ******** HOPEFULLY would be better, where he could get some ******** distance between him.
Through some stroke of cosmic good luck, he arrived at Mimsy just in the nick of time to hear her plea, and brandishing the white crystal with its butterfly he touched it to her cheek. "I h..hope it helps." he stammered anxiously, chest rising and falling rapidly before once again in a trail of wild red hair, he charged off all over again.

He didn't see the hand that shout out to grab his ankle, because he wasn't paying attention to Ever, or anything else in that moment. He didn't even seem to regester it, just kept trying to walk until the grip on his leg caused him to halt.
For a moment that was it, the Mist stood there, gaze turned towards the sea. Then he turned, slowly, to look down at the man that was stopping his progress. The emotionless expression melted away, lips peeled back from his teeth, a snarl rose up from his throat.
Whatever he was seeing, it wasn't Ever. Not the man he spent so much of his time with, not the man that had managed to dig under his skin in such a way that it made it impossible to let him walk out of his life. What he saw was an obstacle, something that kept him from reaching his goal. It infuriated him, and what he did next was mindless and primitive.
Leg rising, he kicked, toe of his boot catching the life in the side of the jaw.

Lucky felt like he'd dropped another fifty feet.
There was a lot of movement and yelling, it was hardly more than a blur and a distant ringing sound. Consciousness was a flickering candle at this ******** you Shiloh. ******** all of you," he croaked, at whatever fuzzy shapes were charging at one another in his tunneling vision. "Just wait, I'm going to come back and haunt you this time."
The blonde wanted the body close, down on her level and she got it. Limp and listless it gazed at Maebe. And then a hand snaked out to smash against her jaw and teeth were sinking into her throat, hard and vicious and tearing with abandon.

CHANCE - COURTYARD
Chance leapt back just in time. Oliver - quiet, gentle Oliver with a penchant for dinosaurs and who cried easily - had thrown himself at Horace, and Chance stared at him with mild surprise. He would have been more surprised, had the circumstances been different, but...
He dragged himself unsteadily to his feet.
"If you say so," he said to Horace, and gently patted Tommy on the shoulder. He trusted that the two of them would be able to subdue Oliver; he couldn't be that hard to restrain. "Be careful, okay? I've gotta go find some people, so keep yourself safe. Don't touch anymore nets."
The angry creature that had been Oliver moments before didn't even attempt to shake off the net, it seemed too shallow for serious consideration. More like the bite of an insect, not enough to slow him down, but definitely enough to fuel that rage.
Instead of lashing out at the other two, Oliver seemed to fixate on the one who had clearly 'attacked' him. There was not even any consideration, no sense of betrayal, even the concept of friends was beyond what his frenzied mind could focus on. All that existed was rage.
He was about to lunge at Horace again, but then a voice whispered in the back of his mind, and his bloodied eyes shifted, catching sight of Rep nearby. It was like Horace was no longer even there. With that same awful expression of anger, he charged at the red-haired hunter he was usually too frightened to approach. It was probably a good thing he was not trained in combat without his weapon, his punch was like swinging a stuffed toy as far as damage was concerned.

SHILOH - BEACH
Ian was shouting his name but therein lied the problem - he wasn't Shiloh. He was only a singular feeling, a singular need and aside from a vague sense of calling that came from beyond the beach, towards the courtyard, there was little Ian could say that would make him understand. He didn't understand that he was hurting Ian, that he was attacking the very person he loved most. He wanted to devour Ian, not because he was Ian, but because he was food, fodder.
He charged at Ian again, teeth bared but something distracted him at the last second, and he stumbled, missing Ian entirely.
Ian was food but unfortunately, he was food that fought back. Fortunately for Shiloh, however, something much weaker, much unluckier, had just made itself known again.
The figure attacked him back, a hand smacking against Finn's face, and though it wasn't nearly a hard enough hit to actually hurt the now rabid moon hunter, or to make him back off, he still stopped.
There was something...there. Something....
His grip suddenly fell away, and he simply turned, gaze going directly to Rep.
And then he began to move in that direction.

[ Beach -> Courtyard ]
A knot tightened within her stomach, and for a moment she could only hear a ringing in her ears, as though her mind refused to accept any more stimuli that would be assessed as negative. Mimsy struggled to breathe as she nodded, trying to indicate that she understood...but she didn't. Not really. Objectively, perhaps, but.
How was she supposed to do this? How could she leave them? It didn't feel like she could will herself to move, no matter how hard she tried.
But he was moving away from her, and she knew she had to do the same, she knew despite how strongly every molecule within her agreed with her protest in this. Even the pain seemed to increase in correlation, fighting to refuse this.
She nodded again, then once more, and forced out a pained "I love you" before taking a deep breath, closing her eyes, and turning to move.
It took several more deep breaths before she finally found the ability to speak again, and she blinked against the blur as she sought out anyone that seemed to still be okay.
"HELP," she called out, hands cupped around her mouth. "I need--er, does anyone have a method of help that is not fighting?"
