Would he bite anyone? What a frightening thought. The zombie shook his head. But there was a word there, in all she said, that struck life into a distant memory. "C-cure... I was cured... Once... I-i-it was a bit... too late, though...", he mumbled, looking down while rubbing his arm. After all this time, he still wouldn't remember who gave him that cure.

"Aw, don't worry Orrin. You're just fine the way you are." She walked past him and started raiding the fridge, scoring some bagels and cream cheese, "Monster, you want a bagel? I don't actually know what you eat other than chili dogs..."

While she was smearing cheese on half a bagel, Minty looked around the room. Arron seemed to have run off where ever, and the rest of the assorted survivors weren't really scientifically inclined, or medically. At least, not that she knew of. Someone though should be able to make the cure work on humans. She spied a bat hanging away from the crowds on the ceiling.

"Batty, is that you?" If it was, they might be in luck. Batty made baked goods that could turn people into animals, why not a cure that turned grombies into people?

"Looks like you're winning!" Minty smiled, "Would you like to play a different game Batty? I call it "Get Arron's cure to work on humans.""

"Bagel's fine by me, I'd eat most anything right now." Besides, his grombie self already snatched up the chili dog so he didn't bother to ask for one, knowing it was gone and tragically not savored.

He heard a familiar voice and caught a peek of Batty. "Hi Batty! You must have so many points built up, you're definitely in first place!"

"Here, you can have this one." Minty handed off the bagel she had spread cream cheese on. She pet the fluffy little bat as she landed on her shoulder.

"It's a fun game! At least I hope so. We take this cure Arron gave us," Minty held up a dart she had taken from the gun, "And we get it to work on Prince so that he is de-grombified. The only rule is we can't kill him."

New voices new voices~ it's ears perks and looks around to the source with a cheerful smile.

"Hewwo Hewwo greeny~ Yes yes Batty can indeeding talky to chu~ Batty can hearing chur soft soft speaking big big ears are no no for showing."

It sticks it's tongue out at him with another cheerful giggle, looking over at fluffy.

"Yes Yes Batty is winning all the games! Maybe even beating chu~"

Finally brings it's attention back to Minty and ponders that over. Half crawls closer to the dart to sniff at it.

"Hmm no no killing.. does having to being liquidy? And do we having cabniet.. something with door being so Batty can linky chu it's home too to working on treats for all?"

"It can be any form you want, Batty! As long as it works. I know you're a master at magical cookies!" Minty decided they could figure out how to get the grombies to eat cookies later, "I think Lady Luck said she brought back a cabinet, right? Would that work?"

Monster's warning made her stick her head in the hall to see what was up. She saw a pale white ghost thing streaking towards them, and...was that Cae?!

"Crap crap crap crap, and just when I thought everything is going so well. Monster, you can grab Evangeline, right? I'll get the doctor."

Minty shoved her half of the bagel in her mouth and dragged the sleeping doctor out of the car. He slumbered on as she ran/stumbled with him towards the safe house, dropping him on the couch.
