*the pinch would have been to no avail, almost as futile as the weapons...Tate perfected his armor into something like a second layer of skin...that would have caused the pinch to miss its mark...*
*the weapons, upon impact upon Tate, would be deflected...every single one of them...Tate was invulnerable against Taijutsu and weapons...there were only certain people who held the key to breaking through his armor...and none were present...*

Areno was, needless to say, surprised... and entirely delighted. "Oh what marvelous fun! Another Zettsou Taibou! Maybe you will last long enough for me to dig into my repertoire and provide a challenge." The boy was full of pomp, obviously.
The real Areno resurfaced slowly through the sand vertically, as though an elevator. With a mirroring grin, the youth placed himself back-to-back with his Junsui Bunshin =True Clone= and copied the fighting pose. When they spoke, they spoke together, "Now, let us see if you are good for it! Soriddo Taiki: Stage One!"
The wind around the duo kicked up harshly for a second or two before swirling around them individually, packing closely to their skin.

((my bag of jutsu known by Tate is running low...down to my last few...T~T))
Tate: heh...come...Kagami Bunshin no Jutsu(Mirror Clones...)
*two formless blobs emerged...and slowly began taking the shape of Areno, to a point where he wouldn't be able to tell his clone apart from them...they then copied him by standing back to back...*
((feels a bit like I'm using Ditto the Pokemon...but I'm NOT!! scream ))
Clones: Soriddo Taiki: Stage One!
*the wind did the same for them as it did for Areno...*
Tate: Have fun playing your own game...

Unbeknownst to Tate, the Junsui Bunshin could never be fooled from the creator. Mainly because the Junsui Bunshin WAS the creator, and was feeding off the mind of said controller.
Areno sighed, which was mimicked by the Junsui. "What did I say about hiding behind jutsu? You force me to do the same..."
The sand clones he'd sent after the other ninja burst from the ground, leaving part of their sand covering the bodies of the fake copies, to cement them in place. At this point, Areno lowered his air-barriers' solidarity and allowed his Suna Bunshin to break the necks of the mirror clones.
If by doing so, his own and the Junsui's necks were broken, it was a simple matter of quick healing, for bloodlines could not be copied by mortals. The four Suna Bunshin took up places around Tate, as though forming a box. Areno approached from the East, and the Junsui from the West.
Unnoticably, the Suna Bunshins transformed their eyes into Daisan no Me, keeping a lookout. If this Tate was just an illusion, they would know.
"Come now, it is time for combat!"
Areno leapt forward with a surprisingly fast bound, his right fist leaping up towards Tate's face.
Junsui kicked off, and came down with a shattering flurry of kicks with his left leg at the same time.
If Tate moved too far to dodge, he would come up against a Suna Bunshin.

*the mirror clones, upon having their necks broken, returned to their blob-like chakra form...it quickly retreated around Tate, and once again took the forms of Areno...one grabbed Areno's arm, pinching the area near the elbow just like what Areno did before...the other caught the Junsui Bunshin's leg, and swung him around to crash the clone on top of Areno...*

A foolish move. Of course Areno is immune to his own attacks, no self-respecting fighter develops a weapon without first developing a defense against it. Beyond that, his nerves are shielded by Kaguya bone, something that the clones can't copy.
The Junsui Bunshin twisted as the mirror brought him up and around, grasping Areno's shoulder with his left hand and spreading his legs in mid-air... spinning like he was breakdancing. With a flashing kick, he'd send the mirror clone flying far away from Tate, likely out of the range that Tate could keep control of its chakra molding.
Areno, for his part, leaned hard into the chest of the mirror clone assaulting his elbow, allowing his Junsui Bunshin to Mario-kill the mirror clone with a jump attack. Meanwhile, he gives a secretive smile. "Got you... Sunaire!" =Sand Spines=
This was monumental, the sand in the air from his Quagmire Sandstorm formed into drills and created a blanket of piercing, drilling madness. From each side of Tate, the chests of the Suna Bunshin exploded outwards in less than a blink of an eye, thrusting six drilling spines each in a scattered pattern for him... meanwhile the sand he was standing on erupted upwards in a forest of spinning death... more than one heading for a very sensitive area.
The spine drills were timed to all strike exactly, and left no room for escape, not even Kawarimi could help you if you didn't have enough room to propel yourself away.

(( stare *mumbles* now I'm left with my trumpcard technique...*silently curses Komm...and checks off move from Tate's jutsu list* but it's all good...I'm done anyway...))

Tate: Chakra Sakujo Nakaba Tama(Chakra Elimination SemiSphere)
*Tate released a chilling chakra into the area around him in a semisphere form...it enclosed Tate, Areno, and all of Areno's Bunshins...Any chakra control within it would be disrupted and thus cancelled for the time being...the sand would be rendered back into sand...the mirror clones would return to chakra...the sand eyes would dissipate...both Tate's and Areno's armor would be eliminated for a while...*
*As the chakra field quickly waned, Tate took advantage of any time window he had with the distraction...two clones that had remained underground, protected from this chakra semisphere, burst upward from directly under Areno with kunais drawn, and immediately slashed away at him...Areno could heal bone, so breaking a bone was pointless, but Kaguya can't heal flesh so easily...the clones focused on Areno's arms and legs, attempting to tear away at him...*
Tate: Sayonara...
*Tate was beside the Junsui bunshin and stabbed a kunai into the area behind/under the ear, aiming to stab into the brain...at that location would be where there is a soft gap between the skull and the jaw...Tate then immediately seemed to fall into a pitfall trap...and proceeded to escape in an underground tunnel...there had been more than one clone creating the faint digging sounds of earlier...they had been digging multiple tunnels as to fool the people who would attempt to chase after Tate...in order to keep the clones active, Tate had to remain still, so that he could concentrate his chakra into not only the battle, but to his digging clones as they were reaching farther and farther away...hence why he was waiting so much...*
*Tate may be running away, but his plan had been completed...a large hole was the only thing left where the cocoon had been...*

Areno blinked, he knew what had happened as the Junsui Bunshin jerked momentarily... it was controlled by Areno's Chakra-transference, after all. The feedback loop kept both of their Chakra Coils charged and allowed for greater Chakra output at the expenditure of greater stamina: Something Areno and his Junsui had in spades, but was currently fluctuating.
Areno searched, trying to bring Tate back into his field of vision... but the man had disappeared. His Chakra may have been dis-molded for the time being, but his senses were engrained from years of hard training. The youth kicked off as he felt the ground beneath his feet well up, and in the same motion brought both feet down on top of the foreheads of the clones with all of his weight behind them - Their kunai do indeed break skin and slide along his bone, but Tate did not know the Kaguya Clan very well; not that anyone did, the Kaguya had only been revived from extinction a generation ago.
Forcing his bone marrow into production overtime, enough platelets and red blood cells were mass-produced in a short enough time that the blood had already stopped flowing from the skin by the time he recovered to a standing position from his downward attack. That was the Kaguya way of defense, go all out and deal with the consequences later. (Kimimaro was the exception.)
The Junsui spun as he heard the words whispered behind him, bringing his knee up and lashing out at Tate's soft underarm, falling back and planting his right arm in the sand as he spun, giving the defensive attack extra power. If it connected, Tate wouldn't be able to fall into any trap, as he'd be thrust off to the side and staggered by the blow.

*Tate never planned on one-hit kills...only distractions...he threw the kunai towards the clone's eye, twisted away from the kick, and proceeded with his fall through the trap...both Tate and Areno may have extraordinary amounts of chakra...but the digging clones and the chakra elimination field had taken its toll, and he was already far past his half way point...*

The kunai bounced off of the Junsui's forehead protector as his kick missed, landing with the offending foot in a crouched position.
Areno gave a ferocious growl and leapt into the pit after Tate fearlessly. He looked along the packed walls of the sand tunnel and smiled.
The Junsui landed and placed both hands on Areno's shoulders, free-looping its Chakra to supercharge Areno's. Areno's palms began to glow brightly as he extended them to his sides and pressed them against the tunnel walls.
"Kurokongouseki Ayatsuri Inshou: Kai!" He felt the stored chakra leave through his seals... followed quickly by inner Chakra. The carbon particles in the structure of the sand in the walls began to clash with each other and vibrate horribly. "I'm not done, yet!" He opened up entirely, his air-barrier bursting into being around his body.
He could tell where Tate had gone by the trail he left in the air... but he wasn't going to spare any other tunnel, either. He focused his barrier into one roughly projectile-shaped object and placed a roll of grenade notes within its swirling winds. "Kaze Tama no Jutsu!" The projectile shot through the air, down Tate's tunnel just as the entirety of it exploded in flames... ripping carbon from sand and the very air to create a flamethrower, shapecharged by the tunnels Tate had foolishly chosen to dig. Given the size of the tunnels, Tate couldn't move at anywhere near his full speed, and the Kaze Tama would likely be nearing him when it got caught in the fire... the entire roll of grenade notes exploding most probably 10-40 feet behind him. But the fire did not stop. (20 notes)
Areno, his Chakra spent, was hauled out of the tunnel and thrust onto the sand before collapsing itself, to avoid any backdraft.
The two lay there, panting heavily, and nearly unconscious from effort and Chakra drainage. "A parting gift... the Heat of the Desert Wind." Areno's face was slightly burned, and the skin on his hands took on a very blackened tint. He coughed once and was silent, drifting in darkness.

*Tate was running to the best of his ability...with the cocoon already safely taken...Tate could feel the heat coming up behind him...*
Tate: damn him...this is gonna hurt...
*with a last effort, he concentrated the remainder of his expendable chakra into the arm that still had an unused seal from the original two he had at the beginning of the raid...Tate bit his other thumb, and rubbed the blood along it...*
Tate: Hayai Kagami no Tate (Swift Mirror Shield)
*a ying yang shield, similar to the 1st one, emerged...it shot back a stream of fire that looked exactly like the incoming attack, but it looked much weaker...*
*As Tate braced himself, the two forces collided...the mirror's counter was much weaker, only about half the strength...Areno's attack overwhelmed the counter, and crashed through the mirror shield...striking Tate...*
*Even though the attack was weakened by the counterattack, the damage was still substantial, but it won't be enough to kill Tate...*
*Tate continued his route, limping as he went...*

::Kazekage chakra was the only thing protecting her from the fire. Kazekage noticed Mizukage and shook her head.::
"Get back!"
::Kazekage concentrated almost all of her chakra on the flame and the cocoon that held her and slowly started to work her way in tearing it apart. The seal started to glow brightly as Kazekage yelled out angrily.::
