Leo was probably like the twins in a way, but Sam wasn't going to push him for any answers. The kid had already gone through a lot, so he didn't need any questioning. "I suppose you have a point there," he said. "Unusual might be a better term. To be honest, it's kinda neat that the twins can heal and all, but I wonder what else they could do. Maybe predictions. When we were kids, they always seemed to know when something good or bad would happen."

Sam noticed Leo's reaction and wondered if he could coax anything out of him. Info for info, he supposed. "I don't know. I thought they were just guessing at first, and they even said their predictions were a lucky guess or just a feeling," he said, keeping an eye on Leo and making sure he didn't fall or anything. "They kinda stopped announcing predictions as we all got older. Instead, they just gave us hints or dragged us to places that just happened to be very lucky. Before today, though, the last time they did any of that was before we lost everything. They looked so scared on that day. Care to listen?"

Seeing that Leo was interested, Sam prepared himself. "Okay, I'll start with a bit of exposition. Chase and Cherry are the kids of Sasha's tutor, so we've all been childhood friends and all. In fact, if my family ever went somewhere, the twins and their mom were sure to follow. The fateful day was no different," he brought up some buried memories. "We were on our way to a plane out of the country, but we had to take a bus first. Just before we left our homes, the twins started screaming. No one knew why. They just begged all of us not to go. I've never seen any of them so terrified." He paused for a moment, catching his breath. "No one believed them. How could we? We thought they were just scared because they never traveled so far before. Oh, how wrong we were. It turned out, the bus driver was really sleepy that day and he dozed off right when we were crossing a bridge. We all ended up in the river. Obviously, you know who got out."

"I understand the secrecy, I guess. This world we live in focuses so much on science that stuff like visions are considered false beliefs," Sam said. "It's nice that you trust us enough, and thanks for listening." He suddenly felt a strange peace, as if he released a great discomfort. "I suppose your brother knows about your visions? Well, he was with you, so I guess he didn't mind all that much. Still, he doesn't seem like the type to believe in the supernatural so easily."

Asher was convinced because Leo made sketches? It seemed almost far-fetched, but the fact that Leo was blind only served to put the pieces together. That, and he seemed like a very honest kid, and Asher, being his brother, would know whether or not he was serious. "Makes sense." Curiosity kicked in when Leo mentioned another secret. Sam couldn't help but want to find out what it was. "Sure. What's on your mind?" he asked, once again making sure the kid didn't fall.

Sam had to chuckle. "Is that so? I kinda knew that already, but she must have trusted you enough to actually tell you herself," he said. "They seem like an unlikely couple, even total opposites, but I guess opposites attract. Chase seems to like her, too. Every Valentine's Day, he would ask me to help him pick out a gift for Sasha. He never has the guts to go, in the end."

"Careful with that. That's the pepper shaker," Sam warned, getting up amd taking the shaker. "Can't have you go into a sneezing fit." He placed the shaker back where it was. It was by chance that he decided to look out a window, only to see two very familiar people looking like a newlywed couple. Smirking, he went to the door and opened it. "Get a room, lovebirds!" he called, closing the door as soon as he saw the shocked faces of Sasha and Chase.

As soon as Sasha amd Chase walked through the door, Samuel confronted them, a very knowing smile on his face. Sasha quietly snuck away, deciding to let Chase deal with her brother while she went to Leo. She gave him a soft punch to the arm. "There. I kept my end of the deal," she said, a wide and excited grin on her face.
