The floor before her looked even more fragile than the floor before. She took a step back and decided to go quickly across, trying not to put weight on the floor longer than she had to. In six quick steps, she made it down one of the aisles without any difficulty.

Zauus was distracted by the gloomy remains of the gift shop. The floor seemed more stable right now and she only took a single step. She couldn't understand why the little gift shop was so intriguing.

And just like that she'd made it, crossed the finished line and could grab her orb. She congratulated herself with a pat on her own head before she snatched up her new blessing and happily skipped on her way.

He pried the door on the back of the podium open and prodded cautiously at the tangle of wires inside. A nest of little spiders came flooding out and he threw himself back and away, startled.

A crumbling sound reminded her of the task at hand. She immediately began to step quickly towards her goal, keeping her eyes out for anything that might seem like a gift from the Goddess for completing the quest.

When Yiro came to on the cold concrete, she pushed herself up. The silhouette wouldn't cry this time. No. Crying didn't help. It only made her feel ashamed.
So she swallowed her sadness down, bottled it up in an empty little pickle jar, and marched right back to the entrance of the coaster.
"Listen here you old piece of s**t!" She screeched at the inanimate object. "I'm having a really bad day, and if you want to throw me off again, so help me Goddess I will rip your wheels off the tracks and throw you the same distance you threw me!"
Obviously the coaster didn't respond, but Yiro felt satisfied when she finally got up the gumption to sit down again. A slow ride, yes, but it would do.

Zauus could see a glow out of the corner of her eye. It was at the end of this aisle! She began to make her way over, hoping that the floor doesn't collapse from under her. She wanted to make it down the aisle, not down to possibly and abandoned basement.

When all the skittering and movement had ceased, Rojand shoved the door to the wiring closed again, moved to the side just in case that had really ******** anything up, and prodded the button.
The train creaked and juddered to life, moving so slowly that he wondered if it was going to make it through its course, but moving. He jumped in and braced himself, expecting to be spilled out and jolted around again.
The train dragged itself over its tracks and came to a screaling halt on the other side without any further problems. Rojand picked himself out of the car and stared at it in disbelief for several seconds before moving on.

She rushed to the glow, nearly running straight through to the end of the aisle. She pushed aside the grey mass that blocked it. Inside the shelf was a glowing yellow blessing.
She picked it up and gave a bow of her head towards the shelf, giving her respects to the Goddess as if she were watching over Zauus. After, she felt a little bit stronger, more complete than before.

Rojand picked his way carefully across the swings, setting his feet cautiously and holding onto whatever solid handhold he could find. Nothing broke under his boots or came away in his hands, and he scrambled down the fence on the other side with a sense that this had been too easy.
