The entire time Amati had been walking through the cliffs, she thought she could feel something watching her. As she crossed the bridge onto solid ground, her silent stalkers made her aware of their presence. They screeched and she turned to see misty creatures that seemed to be mostly wings and talons and boundless anger. They screeched at her and, surprisingly, Amati screeched a challenge back, brandishing her sword at them. The harpies didn't seem prepared for the force behind Amati's onslaught. Amati didn't know where this sudden strength and accompanying anger was coming from, but it felt right to put those low-fliers in their place. After the disastrous ride in the glider, Vane was just happy to be back on solid ground, even if he was still in World's Edge. He found a path and started walking up it, hoping that it would lead him elsewhere, and just wound up getting stuck.

Phase 1- The bottom
While it had been tempting to return to her glider and soar the foggy skies once more, Raedala had unfinished business to attend to at the Aether Cliffs. She had gotten stronger; a little bit wiser too... She remembered which boards to step on and which to avoid, making quick work of the path to the bridge.
She would make it to the harpies again... And she would show them what for.

The bridge, too, she made quick work of... Although it seemed, at one point, that she might fall through. It was good to know that her memory was serving her just a bit better when it came to the paths that she had traveled.
