Lexis ignored Dora and took the rope, and started to tie Fifi's hands behind her back. "That is probably a good idea. I'm going to the pit first and attempting a rescue and to get more information. I'll return when able to." She also tied together Fifi's feet for good measure, not caring if she got the rope bloody and wiping her hands clean on Fifi's clothing. "You can follow me or go off on your own."
Lexis sighed and shook her head, starting off in the direction Zak had originally came in.

Jack nodded, agreeing.
"Running around after people in pits isn't going to find them. However if you think I'm going to just smile, nod, and plkay the lets all be nicey nice game, allow me to remind you lot we have a responsibility to take care of pokemon, and not putter and hum or haw at criminals while they get forgotten in a 'whodunnit' game." Jack then grinned nastily. "And if you'd like to argue, or get in my face, or something, please, do. I haven't had a good fight in a long while. Now, we're looking for Pokemon while you play your little Stantler games."
And Jack began to walk, somewhat carefully, to begin her search, the Doduo following, looking back to Dora worriedly.
Rinzler looked up when a pokemon came over and started speaking to him. As the Growlithe asked his question, the Zorua looked up at his trainer. No, I must conserve my energy for the rest of the trip. Who knows what other dangerous pokemon are out here? I must be at my best to defend my trainer should harm come to him. I'm sorry, he replied before laying his head back down.
Rory continued to watch the going on's of those around him and raised a curious eyebrow at the Growlithe that approached. As he kept an eye on everything, he eventually saw another Teddiursa wander upon the group and then watched wide-eyed as one of the other trainers stabbed on of the members of the group. As a bunch of them chased after the attacker, Rory couldn't help but shake his head. He hadn't expected something like that to happen out here, especially with an officer in their group.
He looked and noticed that the officer had been one of the ones to chase after the attacker. He debated, now, whether to stay over here or to make his way closer to the camp.
He made it over just in time to hear someone offered to start a fire, "If you'd like, I may not have a fire type, but I do carry a lighter with me for situations like this," he commented, pulling the small, silver lighter from his pocket.

Cael handed in the list, making sure it had enough room to add more names. It had a lot of scribbles, but he hoped it was legible. He thought gathering rocks was a good idea. Or very long sticks.
He closed his coat up from the cold. "We probably can't leave her in a storm, she's not...dressed for it. If she can't move, she'd freeze." he said looking nervously from the fluffy sundressed blond to the offered lighter.

"Have fun playing detective," Dora told the rest of the group, still holding to the duskull as she trotted after Jack. She tossed a rather unsavory sort-of salute at the people behind her and rolled her eyes. Catching up to the suit-wearing person and the Doduo, she shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Doesn't seem like any of them realize that all these traps are probably at least partly intended to keep us from searching, does it?" She asked in an almost conversational tone. "They're running around like Torchics just finding their feet and not even thinking about what happened to our pokémon!"

"I agree." Jack idly stretched, walking. "Part of me wonders how much they care. The longer we stall and play, the further unlikely it becomes we'll find our pokemon."
"Seems to me like most of them care more about playing hero or cops and Rockets than getting their lost ones back," Dora said with a definite grumble to her voice. "I couldn't care less about who's a rocket and who's not - I care about what happened to Mordred, if he's okay, if he's hurt, or dying, or -" She cut herself off with a curse and a half-sob.
Mordred may be a bratty bird, but Dora missed him more than words could say right now.

Jade smiled at the guy with the lighter. "That would be much appreciated."
Let them go off and be the heroes, but somebody had to stick around the camp. Even if it was freezing. A fire would fix that up nicely, and they had been given insulated blankets. They could cover up Fifi with one of those, and she'd be likely fairly comfortable.
She glanced over to Cael. "Think you could gather up stuff to build a fire? I don't know where this cold's coming from, but it'd probably be a good idea to get it started before too much longer."
She pulled out her insulated blanket, and wrapped it around Fifi. Hopefully that would keep her warm.
Mind, Jack had half a right mind to put the poor Pokemon in her own care. Honestly... Idiot trainers, the lot. At least Dora tried.
"Mind, some people probably just shouldn't have Pokemon if it's more important to play Hero than be a decent person. S' why I like most Pokemon better than most people."

"I hope so," Dora said simply. "I just want to find them all in one piece..." Sighing, she looked around the area and pulled her coat closer about her shoulders. "I just - where do we even begin to look? Anywhere could be trapped, especially if we follow someone off, I - in the time they took to plot all this... you'd think they could have gone for that legendary and been gone already. Why did they have to pull this kind of idiocy?"
Cael nodded and went off to collect firewood. The first thing he did was find a long sturdy looking stick he could swing one handed. It would only work against physical attacks, but it was better than nothing. None of this experience was helping him here! What could he really do to find Cloud, when every step could be a trap? He carried an armful of wood back to Jade, but kept the hitting stick.

"Competition. Most people here came for a chance to see or catch it. If you want to steal a Legendary, wouldn't you eliminate the competition?" Jack was... Calm.
Almost too calm.
"It's simple logic. But everyone just panics and has a mass hysteric fit. I was mostly curious, myself. Though honestly, it's not worth it for a pokemon that could be a hallucination."
"Honestly? I didn't really expect to capture it, myself," Dora said, absently petting the Duskull as she squinted against the growing wind. "I really just wanted to take Mordred out and get him used to behaving in larger groups. I wouldn't have minded maybe catching something up here, but I'm not so foolish as to think I'd ever capture a legendary." Swallowing, she took a deep breath and fought back a round of tears.
"Only now, I don't - I don't even have Mordred, and people are being stupid, and.... I just want to find him and go home and never go on another trip like this ever again!"

The Duskull made a worried noise finally at Dora, petting her a bit as if trying to assure her she wasn't alone. Jack pulled her close and hugged tightly, sighing.
"It'll be alright kiddo." The 21 year old crooned soothingly. "We'll find him. And then, ice cream. Or a good hot tortilla soup." She crouched, wiping Dora's eyes a bit.
"All is good, all is going to be just fine. You don't need to be upset. I'm Jack the Immortal, we'll find 'em all."
Chuckling a little despite herself, Dora hugged the Duskull, and then Jack as well. "Soup sounds better than ice cream right now," she admitted with a weak laugh. "I think we could make ice cream soon, though, as cold as it's getting."
And that just made her worry again - her poor hurt Murkrow, stuck somewhere in the cold!
