Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element.

He looked completely and utterly lost when a smile crossed her face as she seemed to fall deeper into thought. What was she thinking about that was so funny...? He didn't understand. All that he had mentioned was about how he saw his clansmen handle cleaning... Was there something wrong about that honest admittance? In his mind, he couldn't place anything wrong with the words. His confusion only further intensified as she spoke again and he gave her his complete devotion, partly curious if she was going to explain what she found amusing. He did find jokes an interesting thing, though he usually didn't understand them, and if it was something to lighten the mood... He would definitely love to hear it.

Question marks seemed to float above his head as she explained she had figured out the reason for his confusion. She did? But how... He didn't even know what went wrong... He nodded, an "un-huh" gesture when she began about how cleaning clansmen were usually bored clansmen. That much was true, he never failed to note the dismay on the faces of the cadet branch Uchiha whom received cleaning duty for the day (the cadet branch rotated custodian duty in rounds). But what does being bored have to do with anything...? Or with this particular cleaning task...?

As he listened to her go on, that was when it finally clicked in his mind. Now that...actually made sense... She was referring to how he saw and learned wrong. It was of little consolation to him at this point that "it wasn't his fault, he wouldn't have known". Akeru wanted to dig a hole in the ground and disappear into it from the sheer embarrassment that once again flushed his pale skin red.

+5 to Amaya

Cleaning
It was a bit hard to manage with only one hand, but Akeru is quite stubbornly intent to spare the custodian the outrage of cleaning up blood...

The changes in Akeru’s facial expressions were priceless, but Amaya had learned not to laugh about such things during their interactions because it seemed that he had a difficult time understanding the origins of her amusement. That was one thing that the child learned during their interactions; Akeru wasn’t quite in tune with how social proceedings were conducted. Now, the young Keiji female was far from a master or even having a comfortable grasp on the matter, but she managed well enough. In the worse case scenarios she would simply seek out someone older since they seemed to find her absolutely adorable. They would swoon and gush about her being so small and doll like, though Amaya really didn’t see what in the world they were talking about, and eventually she would walk away with some sort of trinket; usually a flower or a piece of candy, though she did get a toy on the rare occasion. However, due to these occurrences, the child had a devious little secret: if Amaya ever got a craving for something sweet she would just strike up a conversation with someone working in the shops, pull out her cutest moves, and eventually walk away with a cookie. She didn’t do it often, but when she did it was a masterful performance.

Fighting the urge to giggle at the red flush of her companion’s face, the black haired child looked back down at the ground and continued to mop up the blood and bubbles. Her eyes wandered over to Akeru’s mop as she noted that he was catching onto the technique and successfully working his way through the mess too. Amaya was glad to see that the young man was indeed teachable, though she was still going to have to work on his form and technique. That was alright though since she never expected anyone to perfect anything out of the gate. Hopefully he wouldn’t get upset by her teaching him. If he did then she would think of something, but heaven forbid that she think ahead of time and get it figured out before such an instance arose.

The child worked swiftly down the trail until she finally ended up at the door to the classroom. She had lost track of where they were in the process, so it actually came as a bit of a surprise to her. However, there was also that wash of happiness when she realized that the entire hall had been cleaned of that mess. Now she wouldn’t have to worry about someone walking through the hallway and panicking. At least, that is what she would do if there was a line of blood across the floor. Pinning her mop to her hip with the help of her elbow, Amaya used both hands to open the sliding door into the classroom. She then walked over to her bucket after replacing the mop in her hand and carried the yellow plastic container into the room. There was more blood in the classroom, especially at the back of the classroom where the incident had happened, because it had taken Akeru a moment to flee which allowed the blood to pool more in that spot. The desk was still over turned and it was obvious that something had happened there. She was glad that no one had come into the room over the course of events because that would not only have raised some sort of alarm, but it also would have gotten Akeru in a considerable amount of trouble. Or so the child imagined it would. ”Well, Akeru-san,” Amaya started with a bit of a relieved sigh. ”It looks like the hall way is all clean, so now we just have to clean up the classroom and everything will be as good as new.” There was a tone of accomplishment lying under her voice. Amaya was the kind of person to set small goals that lead to a much larger goal so that there was some sort of positive reinforcement at all times. Though it didn’t work for everyone, it was a very good system for someone who made a point to find the good in…well, everything.

The fight between the two looked interesting... for a while. Then it started getting slightly ugly, by the looks of it, evolving from a friendly spar to personal feelings involved. Takami seemed to gracefully sidestep this by stopping the match and going over something with the girl, giving both of them time to cool off and also practice with each other. It seemed like a good idea, and it was a smart move on the boy's part. They seemed to work quite well, and Sakura watched on, looking at the interaction for a while before looking back to her cloak that she had been working on.

Yuki had been using her chakra to blend in, but her curiosity over the match had won over and she had forgone the jutsu to satiate it. As much as she wanted to look however, she had to finish this quickly so she could let Shiro go and do whatever he needed to do. After all, he was only here because she hadn't finished yet, so it was only natural that she felt a little sorry for him. Picking another cloak that she hadn't used yet, she went over to the corresponding pattern to test it out again.

Slowly working on her jutsu, she tried it out, but the slight movements seemed to tire her out, with the dramatically lessened amount of chakra she had. Thinking about it, she had depleted her chakra almost 3.. no 4 times today, and it wasn't surprising that it had caught up with her now. The tiring in her stamina was welcoming though, since it proved that she was working hard and doing her best. However, the results on her jutsu weren't all that good, as her chakra wavered from the depletion.

Yuki was a bit conflicted on what she should do. As much as she wanted to finish, it wasn't going to help any of them if she used up all her chakra and fainted on her partner or something. Now that would just be plain embarrassing. But on the other hand, her pride wouldn't let her stop right then, and she toyed around back and fourth with the two ideas. Deciding to make a compromise, she told herself that she would try it out one more time. Just once more, but then after that, no matter what happened, she would have to swallow her pride and rest up before doing anything else. The thought sparked a refusal to give up, and she was determined, more than ever, to finish this quickly. She would get it done this time, she was sure of it. But then, come to think of it, resting sounded pretty nice, after all the activity. Feeling a slight rush of confidence, she stood up, only to see the world turn black for a couple seconds before clearing. It felt like the time she had been hit over the head with a wooden rod, from an incident in the civilian sector that her parents still never fully explained to her. To Yuki, it was just a 'mistake' that had been made, but something in her parent's faces made her feel a bit cold, as if she was on foreign grounds.

If only she had known that Kami had something else planned for her...

Slowly working her chakra through the cloth, Yuki made sure to be careful with her movements as she took control of the flow and faded into the background. It didn't do much good however, because it soon flickered and made her reappear in front of everyone again. It seemed luck was just not on her side today. Slumping down, she held her spinning head as she rested her head on her knees and took deep breaths.

"Ugh, can someone stop the floor? I want to get off..." she muttered to herself, trying to cool off. Leaning on the tree trunk that she had rested on, Sakura traced the lines on the trees, looking at the grand, strong branches that spread out above her, giving her shade to rest under. It was a warm day, and the gentle breeze shook the leaves, making a s soothing chime and rush of sound. The soft caress and sweet lull of nature made her eyelids heavy with the lure of sleep. It was such a nice day too... Forgetting that she wasn't alone or even inside a room, Yuki slowly drifted off, head slumped slightly sideways.

Rinkou calmed down, especially after seeing the boy going into a daydream for a while, it made her smile because he was. That opening move was impressive, she liked his control and wanted to try and do it herself. She got ready by stretching quickly, and then breathing to calm herself down a bit more. she quickly thought about what she was going to do, a punch or a kick? A punch to the stomach, which would be stopped just before she hit him. She breathed out once more, and then swung her arm for his stomach, if she hadn't have stopped just as it reached it, it would have really hurt, but she just ended up lightly tabbing Takami's stomach, and giving him no pain at all. She was the only one to gain from that, due to the no pain.
"If you kick me without hurting me, I will give you a little prize." She wasn't really going to give him anything, well, maybe something, but she wanted to make sure he could actually do it.

The boy watched the girl taking deep breaths, obviously trying to calm herself down before she practiced the technique on the boy, then stretching slightly before she started. "She's pretty good at this, I wonder how good she is at genjutsu or ninjutsu, or is she best at this- taijutsu? Actually, Come to think of it, I've never heard of an Uchiha being overly good at taijutsu, or even really thinking about an Uchiha specializing in taijutsu? Maybe she could be like, the first? I'll have to ask her what she plans to do in a bit" The boy asked himself, thinking of his need to be good at ninjutsu, and known for something outside of what his clan was known for, Not saying that would stop training at taijutsu! Takami had finally decided that he would train each of the two equally- seeing as he still did enjoy the techniques from the heritage of his clan, and some of the taijutsu techniques outside of his clan.

Takami studied the girl noting that she seemed to take another deep breath before she started. Was she really that mad at the Hyuuga for kicking her in the chest? Did she have to calm herself so much before starting, thinking she might get too mad and hurt him? Takami didn't know how comfortable he was about giving the girl such an opening anymore.

The boy felt the small tap on his stomach, the girl ignoring the obvious opening he set out on his side. Maybe she didn't see it? Or was she just defiant and wanting to hit where she wanted to hit. Assuming the latter, the boy made a mental note of the girl, observing that she seemed like the type to do what she wanted to do, and do it when she wanted to do it. The boy smiled at her stubborn ideals.

As soon as she had finished, she began talking to the boy, issuing him a challenge, to kick her, as he had before, but this time controlled. Rinkou also offered the Hyuuga a reward if he were able to do it. He would be sure to tease her about that. "Should I try something so risky as to try and go through with a kick? I don't know if can control that." the boy contemplated, knowing that he could never get better if he didn't take risks.

"I'll take the risk!" the boy decided, giving the girl a devilish smirk. "If I do this correctly, you have to give me a cookie," The boy joked, though he really wouldn't mind getting a cookie, whether from the girl or not.

The boy began to move into position, stretching out his arms and legs a bit before he began, knowing if he had stiff muscles, he could hurt the girl. Moving into a defiant position, getting ready to go at the girl, Takami put his left hand in front of his face and his right hand at chest level, holding his left foot in front to be able to kick with his dominant foot for more control.

Picking up his foot, the boy kicked it at the girl's stomach, knowing as soon as he began that the kick was too hard, but it was too late. The boy went through with the kick, landing it on her midsection, pulling as much force away from the kick as he could, the momentum just slightly too strong and uncontrolled. It wouldn't be enough to hurt her too badly, just maybe sting a little bit. The boy landed his foot by the girl's feet, pulling up into a normal stance.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." Takami moved closer to the girl, putting his hand on her shoulder, and his other behind his back. "Did that hurt you too bad?!" The Hyuuga was extremely apologetic to the Uchiha, knowing that he had already hurt the girl with the same kick, just earlier in the day. "I guess I don't get a cookie now," the boy was a little bit disappointed with himself, he shouldn't have done a kick so early on, he should've just stuck with what he knew- punches.

Rinkou has breathed out as she was kicked in the chest, to stop herself from being greatly damaged. She flinched a little from it, but nothing bad happened. She did glare at Takami for failing to kick right, after he placed his hand on her shoulder, but, she did ask for it.
"I am okay." So she sighed a little and decided to give a kick a go, just to see if she could show him up. She flailed her legs a little, one at a time, to get them warmed up, then jumped a few times, and then took a stance ready to kick. She kicked them time for the given opening, not sure why, but she did it. Her kick was straight and hard, but it stopped right before it touched the boy, but she then jerked just a bit to tap him lightly in fun. She smiled as she put her leg down and got into a fighting position again.
"You might still get something if you don't hurt me to much."

Takami felt the girl's glare the moments following his hitting her in the stomach, though she didn't seem as mad as she had the last time he had kicked her in the stomach, him putting his hand on her shoulder seemed to not be such a great idea anymore. The boy suppressed a giggle as he imagined the small, black-haired girl, grabbing him by the wrist and flipped him over her shoulder, bending over his body, laying over the ground, and sending a punch to his stomach.

The Hyuuga quickly listened to her telling him that it was okay, still smiling from the silliness of the situation he just imagined, though the guilt he felt from hurting her because of his own selfish need to show off was still there. If only he had just stuck to what he had known- punching- he wouldn't have hurt her, he would've been able to control his hit, he would've been able to keep from causing any further feelings of resentment the girl may feel towards him.

He watched her again before she began, shaking out her arms and her legs to get ready to start the technique. What was she gonna do? A punch? Or would she risk a kick like the Hyuuga had? Did she have better balance then Takami? Probably. The boy imagined that the Uchiha did have a better sense of balance than him and might be able to better control where her kicks went, and how much weight she put into the kick.

Feeling the slight tap of the ball of the girl's foot against his sternum, the boy 's question was answered. She did seem to have a better center of balance then him. She did up show him at his own game-taijutsu. The boy's pride was further hurt from the girl's success in this training, though he kept a straight face to let the girl know he was disappointed in himself.

"Great Job Rin-kun!" the boy congratulated, his eyes warm, and his smile cheery without a hint of his disdain at himself more than the girl. He had to do something amazing to show the girl that his techniques weren't a fluke. That he wasn't a fluke. Takami went over the list of techniques he had praticed with his dad over the year, mostly simple punches and a few kicks, which the boy had shown before that he still had trouble with, and then, there was one technique that he had always excelled with.

The boy took his stance, looking at the girl was a smirk on his face as he waited for her to take her stance. The boy starting in like he was going to do another punch, but quickly turned around, his back coming at her, and his left fist coming up in a backhand to her left temple, stopping just short of her head. After the momentum of the hit had stopped, the boy softly tapped his knuckles against her head, joking, then taking a step back from the girl, the smirk still on his face. "I didn't hurt you too bad this time, do I get a cookie?"

Her temple didn't hurt, it was just irritating that tap. She twisted her face in a disapproving manner, the temple was a sensitive spot on anyone, and that was the problem. She smiled at his smile, but mainly because she wanted to show him up once more, and that is the real reason for the smile.
"I will give you a cookie." She thought about what she could do, as she took on a fighting pose. She though what to do carefully, and this time not copy what he had done, because it was not so fun to keep doing that. That was a funny though, an Uchiha not wanting to copy. But it was true, the power to copy was not in her interests yet, she preferred to be her own self. She quickly took a jab at the boy's throat suddenly, hoping to make him flinch from her sudden movement after a minute of thinking. Her fist didn't touch his throat though, but when she pulled her hand away, she lightly tapped under his chin a little, in a playful manner.
"You're not hurt right?"

The boy watched as the girl sent a fist towards his own throat, stopping just short of his throat before tapping him on the throat lightly. Both of the pair seemed to go for sensitive spots on the other, being only academy students, it was pretty impressive.

He remembered her promise of a cookie then. A small smile crossing his lips. "I want a cookie for every time I don't hurt you. And you can subtract from the count everytime I do." the boy calculated quickly in his head. "I think that would make me having two cookies right now!" He paused for a second, making his way to the girl. "Is that a deal?"

"Of course I'm not hurt silly, I'm a Hyuuga, remember," the boy's voice was coated in a thick layer of sarcasm, showing the boy was clearly joking.

Takami took a step or two back, bending down to touch his toes and shaking out his legs before assuming the usual fighting position.

                                Now what should he do?

The boy could try the front kick to the stomach again, an attempt to win the back a portion of his pride.

He could always do another punch again, good and tradition is always a smart choice.

                                Or maybe....

The boy made up his mind for his technique, he just hoped that the girl didn't react too much. She could get hurt really bad if she did.

Takami lifted his front leg at the girl, his foot going directly at her face, the ball of his foot stopping just short of her nose. She didn't react to much, and that was good, he didn't want to give her a bloody nose!

Quickly, Takami stepped back, giving a bow to the girl. "Did I scare you too much!?"
                                {+1 Rinkou}

Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element.

After quietly watching her work for the length of a few long minutes, he began reconfiguring his prior grasp on the standard procedure of cleaning. Naturally, one does not become adept at something like this in the span of a few minutes. First impressions died hard but stubbornness eventually won over: while it was difficult at first to modify his grip of the mop and practice which way to wrap the head of the mop around the suds, soon enough, he managed. He however would always look at his handiwork, stopping a few minutes each time he worked, and stepping back a little to admire the progress as if he could not quite believe the method truly works. He seemed to have definitely cheered up considerably as he cleaned though and the air around him lightened.

In time, he and Amaya finished cleaning the halls, even though she had done most of the work. He reached up, and wiped a bit of the sweat from his brows, suddenly wishing the air conditioning in the Academy would be much lower than it already was. But despite the slight discomfort, he gave no other indication and when Amaya mentioned that they should clean up the classroom next, he only nodded and replied with a quietly musing: "Hn." He was indeed more worried about the classroom, as the worst of the blood should be there, and he had no idea by now how long had it been since Amaya-chan finished with her Kakuremino lesson. For all he know, the other Students could even be very well on their way to the classroom about now...

The uncertainty of the thought made it difficult for him, and his good hand gripped the mop so hard that his knuckles whitened.

+5 to Amaya

The small girl looked up and down the trail of blood as she tried to decide the best course of action. It was a little bit concerning that any of her classmates could enter the room at any time, so she wanted to get this mess cleaned up as quickly as possible. However, at the same time she wanted to help teach Akeru how to clean. After all, it would be a vital skill if the young man decided to ever live away from the Uchiha compound…or on his own for that matter. So, Amaya took it on as a sort of duty to teach him the simple civilian techniques of cleaning so that the Uchiha male could become more self proficient than he already was. That being said, the black haired Keiji realized that she didn’t know how to explain most of the cleaning techniques. She knew why she was supposed to do what, but that didn’t exactly translate into words very well. No matter, she was going to teach him no matter how painful an experience it may have been.

While trying to figure out what to show Akeru first, Amaya leaned her too big mop against the wall and slipped back out the classroom door. The larger puddle of dried blood at the back of the room was going to cause a few issues if it dried too much, so she was going to implement some preventative measures. Her strides were quick but deceptively relaxed as she worked her way back to the janitor’s closet. Poking around the pile of rags on the floor, the child found four that she found suitable and stole them away. Her next stop was, once again, the lady’s lavatory. Turning on the warm water, the child soaked the rags thoroughly before ringing them out so that they weren’t dripping across the floor as she walked. Once all of that was taken care of, the girl reentered the class and slid the door closed behind her. Making sure not to walk through any of the remaining blood, Amaya strode over to the drying puddle and covered it with the moist rags. Though she didn’t need all four of them to cover it, she did layer them on top of one another so that the puddle would still be wet enough to lift with a mop once the two got back there.

Content that she had covered the entire spot, the young girl returned to her mop, taking the smooth wooden handle in her hands so that she could continue on with her work. The child’s eyes couldn’t help but drift to the white knuckles of her companion. Was there something on his mind? It was probably the same that had been on Amaya’s mind; when were people going to start showing up? The girl looked over at Akeru with a smile; she knew that she had to approach things gently with him. ”Akeru-san,” Her voice was especially quiet now since she feared the echo of the empty classroom, but it still held that life and vibrancy that usually trailed along the undertones of her voice. ”You don’t need to grip the handle so hard. It will actually make it more difficult to control if you’re too stiff with the mop.” The girl was appreciative that Akeru had given her something to note without her having to work too hard to find something. With her learning how to interact with people still, and Akeru in specific, Amaya used gentle words and she, hopefully, had phrased things so that they wouldn’t come as criticism but more as advice. If not…it wouldn’t come as too big of a surprise.

Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique)
Description: This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. While a student should use a cloak/cloth that fits with their environment, chakra can be used to enhance the effect but it can not make up for using the wrong camouflage. In this exorcise the students will demonstrate their ability to blend in to various surroundings using their cloaks/cloths.
