TG wants to get to know somebody!
While he was a tad disappointed that he couldn't talk the busty witch longer, he was hopeful that he would see her again. With that in mind, he left the table to find his next pairing.

Danny stared at the board with big eyes. Gosh darnit, Shun had gotten paired with someone else. Oh well, time to meet ... err ... "Shine."
She bumbled off to the table like the idiot she was.

Riyo hadn't expected the gnome to run past her like that, a look of surprise muffling out the intense anger. "What are you...?!" She froze for a moment, trying to figure out what the gnome was doing before she charged again.
"DON'T YOU D-" Too late. Riyo had taken an arrow to the a**.
"AAAAAAAAUGH!" It hurt! It hurt so bad! It was small and wooden and oh sweet Jack she didn't want to touch it. Obviously the cat ghoul had never been shot with an arrow proper, because she wasn't even sure how she was supposed to remove it. The tiny plague was enough of a distraction that she completely forgot about the gnome she was chasing. "Oh Jack... Oh Sally... This is wrong on so many levels I just don't know what to do." She walked around in circles just trying to get a better glimpse of the protrusion. She was like a cat chasing it's tail...
"Why, universe, why? I don't have much in the way of curves. Why would you do this to me?" Might as well just shoot her twice in the chest too so what little cleavage she had deflated like balloons.
She needed to sit down. Oh, wait. No she didn't. The whole Deacon issue seemed to wipe from her mind as she frantically thought about what she should do. This wasn't just painful, it was embarrassing.

Very eager to do her absolute best this time, Shine was already faithfully waiting by the board, ready to see who her partner would be. "Danny" was, unsurprisingly, an unfamiliar name to her, but she could figure this out. She thought she heard someone say her name, and curiously followed the ghoul to the table. Deep in concentration, she somehow missed the fiery beacon that trailed behind her partner. Maybe luck was on her side after all.

Deacon could only continue to stare helplessly, his mind going into overdrive as he tried to figure out what he was supposed to say. Nothing seemed right. His emotions, even those he was convinced he never possessed, were in turmoil and battling for dominance.
The more she spoke, the more he really wished that he never would have been dragged here. He wanted to be back in his dorm. Back where he could lock everyone else out and pretend he didn't give a s**t. He could be alone, there.
But he wouldn't really feel like he was alone, would he?
He couldn't take back the words, nor could he explain them. While Riyo had absolutely no clue what it was to feel affection, Deacon wasn't much better off. Better off, apparently, to be utterly confused as to how she couldn't know what the phrase meant. Even the words spoken in lie usually made a ghoul swoon or something. Not grab him by the face and make him worry that they wanted to rip it off.
Well, if he'd done so well at rolling off an alarmingly long list of apologies he could surely try to explain himself, now.
"I'm n-not trying..." he stammered, "I'm not trying to be like this! I think my emotions are broken..."
Suddenly she was letting go of him. He let out a held breath and risked to look up at her as she straightened. Had she forgiven him? Given up? Was she going to ditch him here to tend to himself?
He silently moved to follow her gaze, settling it on the little man that had stolen her attention from him. Negative attention it might have been, but she had at last been paying attention to him for the first time in weeks.
Why were the gnomes always ruining everything?
If he wasn't so rattled, he probably would have yelled at the little b*****d, too.
He probably would have rooted Riyo on, at least, had she not belted out that hellish shriek and literally made him topple out of his chair to duck and cover from her rage.
With all of the tables nearby occupied by couples' legs or hidden shippers, he couldn't hide under one. So, he just decided that one of the chairs was best. Like it would actually provide some level of you can't see me.
When Riyo screamed again he wanted to streak to the door like his tail was on fire. Oh no, oh no. What was going on?! Weren't those stupid arrows made of something like cheap plastic? Why would they let him in here with that and what if the legends he heard were true? Well, that last one might have quelled her anger...
As he watched from his pitiful hiding place he realized that she was anything but love-stricken. Maybe he should do something?
He carefully crawled out from under his chair and crept over to her while she was distracted with her circling, fidgeting with his hands and wondering if he should be feeling like a pervert that he was essentially staring at her a**.
"I could... What if we just... L-let me..."
His eyes followed the stupid arrow until he finally reigned enough of his broken courage to grab the shaft of the wooden projectile and give it a swift, firm tug.

Riyo stopped when she saw Deacon approaching, torn on whether she should flee or allow him to 'assess' the situation. "D-deacon? What are you doing?" The fur on her tail bristled out immediately when she felt him grab the arrow. "Oh Jack don't yank it o-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" It had been over faster than her scream, but HOLY s**t DID THAT EVER HURT. Immediately she jumped away and tenderly rubbed where the arrow had been. Little droplets of water gained in the corners of her eyes, but she refused to cry over something so simple. She'd taken worse beatings, but for some reason that hurt more than Riyo thought it should've.
But the worst part was something she was slowly realizing.
Thanks to the arrow, there was now a hole in her pants.
... Oh Jack. She was ready to throw in the towel and hide in the restrooms until today was over. She didn't care that there was blood. What she cared about was everyone seeing her underwear.
"Deacon." The ghoul squeaked, her face turning red as she looked back at him. Her hand remained firmly over the rip. "I um... Uh... I... T-trade me pants or something." The ghoul wasn't sure what would be worse. Holding her hand over her butt for the rest of the night... Or wearing someone else's clothes.

When the arrow pulled free with a jerk that had had a little too much power behind it, Deacon stumbled back a couple of steps. That was probably for the best, because he was worried that she was going to be upset that he took matters into his own hands.
"I'm sorry! It just seemed like the best idea... I mean, to get it over with quick."
He held the arrow up to look at it, and in what might have been a little of his usual self leaking out he took it between both hands and snapped the wretched thing in half. Damn gnomes.
His ears twitched when she spoke, and his glare on the splintered pieces of the arrow focused on her again. His pants?
"Wh-what? Here?" he stared at her dumbly. "Right now?"

*Titus* wants to get to know somebody!Be it fate or some cruel joke from his roleplayer but somehow Titus' name ended up back in the drawing to be paired up with someone yet again. He was no longer rhyming and no longer in a good mood. Whoever got seated with him was going to have a grumpy demon on their hands. For the time being Titus stood off to the side of the room, gazing out as if trying to pick a victim. Eeny Meeny Miny Moe, who will get bugged by Titus, only the fates truly know. As if seeming to pick his target, the demon moved in, weaving through the crowd and even pushing some aside as he went. He destination was ended with a pair of felines, his tall form standing behind a certain demoness. It had been hard to miss her yowel of pain and he was curious to see the problem, spotting her hand neatly covering her rear. " Someone give you a good pinch?" Titus asked giving her a light pat on the other cheek.

*Mitsu* wants to get to know somebody!
Mitsu was curious about the smudged board but wrote her name down all the same. The night was winding down so it would probably be best to get in a couple more meet and greets before the event was over.

Deacon didn't know who Titus was. He didn't care to Titus was.
All he knew was that Titus had totally just done something he didn't like.
Deacon's inner turmoil flipped his emotions from timid p***y to just who the hell do you think you are in an instant.
One hand still holding the remnants of the 'arrow of love' his other hand snatched for Titus' wrist to remove his hand from Riyo. He wielded the pieces of splintered wood like he wanted to stab the other demon in the face with them if the answer to his question wasn't to his liking.
"Hey. Hey... Just who the ******** are you?"

"N-no! Not here! Candlejack man, do you really think I'd change out in the open?"
Turning to the side so she could actually face him (though she did so hesitantly because of just how bad she might look to everyone else), Riyo shook her head in disappointment. "I meant in the b-"
Being interrupted seemed to be a trend tonight. This time, however, She'd been interrupted in one of the worst ways. Her face turned as red as a tomato when she felt a certain someone's hand pat down her 'assets', tail standing straight on end. Oh sweet Sally. The cat demon regretted ever wishing for someone to bother her... Because now he had it in spades.
Her mouth opened, possibly to shout at her 'a**'ailant, but what would probably be a yell turned into a puff of air when she saw Deacon had sort of... Taken care of it for her. Sort of weird to see after the boil had just been crying a river.
The feline wasn't sure if she liked that or not.
"No. For your information, I took an arrow to the a**." Riyo huffed, her face still a pleasant hue of red. No real reason to lie about it. "Deacon, this is Titus. Titus, this is Deacon. Both of you annoy the s**t out of me on a daily to weekly basis. Maybe you can find joy in each other's company."

His wrist had been seized and Titus was quick to bare his teeth in irritation. Wings twitching Titus jerked his wrist back not feeling the least bit inclined to answer Deacon's question. In fact, after he was freed he basically ignored his presence turning back to Riyo. He was pleased to see her reaction, though her explanation was rather curious. " An arrow to the a**?" But it seemed Titus would not be given the opportunity to forget Deacon's existance. Instead he was introduced to the boil, his expression looking less than impressed. " So is this your keeper then? Odd that you can't stand up for yourself." His grimace turned to a grin which stretched across his face as he reached up to wrap an arm around Riyo's shoulders. Something told him this would annoy the other boil. " Didn't you tell him you're my date tonight?"
