st fransis is the subject (fransian order)

it tells about francis's life. He was a night that had a vision from god, and he humanized his church, a mandicant order.

Jan Van Eych, St Barbra, unfinished, 1437, St Barbra was betrothed to a pegan and put in a tower cuz she wouldnt marry him. This just showed us the underwork of a painting. Alot of detail!
