Also, D.Gray-man taught me a ridiculous amount of my kanji words. LOL. Lavi's seals helped as well sadly. Thanks Lavi, for helping me remember Japanese eue
... I'm still wondering why D. Gray-man is called D. Gray-man. Anyone know the answer to that? >.>;;

You just don't know when to give up, do you...? -holds the hammer out in front of him with one hand, popping a dumpling in his mouth with the other- Shin. -the hammer expands, shooting towards the charging COD-
((Sil: I has no sound on my PC :C My sound card is all busted and I still need to get it fixed. I'll see about getting Skype once I have my sound back 8D

Some of the concepts in D.Gray-man first appeared in Katsura Hoshino's one-shot title, Zone. This earlier work includes the same concepts of the akuma and their creation, Exorcists, and the Earl's plans for ending the world. Allen Walker, the main character from the series, is also based from the previous series's protagonist, who is a girl, but Hoshino changed some of his characteristics to make him look more masculine. In addition, Lavi is based on the protagonist of one of her planned series, Book-man. Other characters such as the Millennium Earl, Lenalee Lee and Komui Lee are based on real people, although Hoshino has not confirmed who some of those people are. She has mentioned that some of them are famous scientists, while Komui is based on her boss. After beginning work on the longer D.Gray-man series, Hoshino considered continuing to use the name Zone. She also considered naming the series Dolls or Black Noah. The word "D.Gray-man" is meant to have various meanings, most of them being the state of Allen and the other main characters. ))

((Cross: Hmmm I had a feeling the grey part of it had to do with the whole... no black and white status plotline of D. Gray-man, but I had to wonder anyway.
Lavi: What Ella said. I almost never use the actual voice chatting function on Skype. People just use it as an IM now.))

In the anime, in one of the early episodes...I believe the one with the boy on rollerblades, who tries to hunt Akuma...
When they're in the graveyard, and Allen fights the Akuma that used to be the boy's friend... it's actually the only time it happens in the entire anime, but..
The attack he uses then...I could have sworn it was referred to as "D.Gray-man" ...it's the attack where he can kill multiple Akuma at once...he slashes them or something...using some kind of attack that leaves like a large cross marked on them, before they poof away.
I vaguely remember this, so I could be wrong. ))

Ouch! -rubs his head- No no, Ella, I won't... -puts an arm around COD as far as that's possible- If you subtly move over to those two at the throne -nudges his head in Cross' and Sil's direction- I will get you some of those poor experiment cows of Komui's for you to eat... they'll be a bit radioactive, probably, but your.. whatever it is that your food goes to can handle it, right?
