Sugilite arrived at the feet of the great beast as fast as she could, not spotting the tip of the horns crumble. If she had, it would have only increased the strength behind the kick that she gave to the back of Hara's knee. She grabbed at the girl's shoulders at the same time, pulling her back away from the youma as roughly as possible. How dare they, how dare they? How dare they keep fighting, after everything? As though they had anything to fight for? What civillians? The senshi and knights had killed them off themselves, what more could they hope to defend? "You horrible little girl, don't you dare lay another hand on that poor creature!"

"I.. I can do that!" She peeped, actually quite happy for the distraction.
Fighting.. guarding.. these were things entirely foreign to her. But she'd read more then a dozen books that talked about first aid and emergancy situations!
Of course she was beaten to the punch. Watching Avalon she waited to see if she could do anything. Only she wasn't exactly paying attention as Wolframite swung again, crying out as the blade slide quickly across her leg, leaving a nice little gash for her too.
Pressing her hand and her pants against the wound she eyed the knife wielding oponnet again. "Leave us alone!"
Yeah.. that'd work. Polaris had.. . not expected that! But she was nonetheless incredibly pleased. She couldn't attack so quickly again with her powers, so she searched for a bone fragment that wasn't covered in sticky goo.

Howlite's boot was sent toward Draconis' stomach, the blonde's approach unrelenting. There was no malice on her freckled face, no evil delight in the senshi's suffering. Instead, there was only determination, to protect her own and fulfill the goals of her superiors.
A tool of Metalia, indeed, the girl did not think of herself as the bad guy, simply someone who was willing to do what it took. Just like the senshi, themselves.
When Draconis spoke, it looked, for a moment, as if Howlite would destroy her anyway, hand poised above her chest, ready to plunge deep for her starseed, when she hesitated, her black eyes flicking up at the sound of Camelot's forceful voice.
No.
The blonde straightened immediately, Draconis forgotten as her gaze went to the youma as it was destroyed.

Peklo flinched as another knife came in her direction. This was it. She was going to go join Callum and Felix. Maybe it was atonement. Like she had just come back only to protect someone special (the princess) and then die. It was like Gandalf!
But the blow never came. Suddenly Celsus was telling her it was going to be okay, and a knight she had never seen (Avalon) were standing over her, protecting her.
They were protecting her?
Peklo was confused. At Celsus, she said, "Wh-What are you doing? Go protect the P-Princess!" Why was he protecting her? Couldn't he see this was just divine retribution?
Obviously the princess was more important to protect! Another page got slashed across the leg (Menthe) and Peklo squeaked as though it had happened to her. Once again she pleaded at Celsus. "Go!"

s**t.
The Great One's last cry shook Fluorite down to her core, and she looked up from her opponent just in time to watch it fall.
s**t. s**t.
s**t s**t s**t.
"Negaverse !" She screamed, taking off. "REGROUP !"
They would get picked out like lambs at the slaughter if they didn't. They also had no way back home, but...
One thing at a time.

Avalon would have been a lot less stressed if she'd known that any attack on Chronos would end in vain. The Captain of the Zodiacs was out there, protecting the Princess even as she chucked rubble and threw punches at the monster. She didn't know that, though. "It's fine," she assured the little blonde page--she would be unharmed, had to be, Avalon had gotten in the way. She couldn't squash the wince and the pained hiss, the way her hands clenched against the road. Then there was that deathly howl as the youma disintegrated, but Avalon didn't even dare lift her head. She didn't want to see what Wolframite looked like right now. She needed to protect the little blonde page. "See," she said, a thread of pain weaving through her voice. "If it were a mortal wound the blood would be a lot darker. You're just in shock. Stay down and you'll be alright." What did you say to people in shock? You wrapped them in blankets and gave them to the EMTs to look after, didn't you? "It'll probably only scar a little bit," she assured Peklo. "Boys like scars. Um. Do you like boys? Because... girls like scars too, so, that's okay you like girls and not boys." Avalon was faintly aware that she was talking nonsense. She did not mind this.

The Great One roared and all that pride took a quick turn with a sick churn of her stomach. Her dual colored eyes watched as the great one fell and she paused frozen in disbelief and horror. How had they... ? They couldn't lose!
There was another senshi nearby, and she bolted towards the energy signature, looking up towards the male as she shouted feveriously. "Sailor Deneb Kaitos, senshi of Twilight."
"Please keep fighting! Call out Twilight World, Fade!"

Ganymede spun out of the way of Benitoite's paint brush, using the grace and agility he'd learned through years of ballet to his advantage. He did so just in time, as the gigantic youma howled and crumbled down. Ganymede let out a "whoop" of joy.
One thing down. Several more to go, but the Negaversers and DMCers would be a lot easier to deal with now that their big, bad youma weapon was taken care of.
He flashed another smile at Benitoite and couldn't stop himself from goading him. "Looks like you didn't do a good enough job protecting that thing," he said, jerking a thumb in the direction of the defeated youma's carcass. "Should have spent more time worry about it than me, huh? This is all really nice of you guys to come all the way out here. We're flattered, really. Touched even," he continued sarcastically. "But I think it's about time for you guys to make your exit. You've sort of overstayed your visit, I think."

"REGROUP"
That snapped her out of it. Howlite spared Draconis one last, hard look, before she took off, running through the mix of combatants, dead, and pieces of youma to reach her Fluorite's side.
They had to band together. The fight wasn't over yet, not while they were still here, and the enemy existed.

The youma was dead. It was destroyed, it was gone.
Joy burst inside him like a divine light, giving him energy and fuel he hadn't known he still held in reserve. Leo was tired, haggard, from battles both emotional and physical, but the sight of the youma disintegrating before his eyes was enough to rouse his spirits and renew him all at once. Even if it was just a short-lived second wind, it was enough to make him spin, the light of battle on his face as he swung his arm out for the nearest enemy.
He couldn't use his magical attack again, not nearly, but he could still fight. He could fight until his knuckles broke on the the bones of every single agent of Chaos in his home.
Together, they had defeated the youma. They could destroy every last one of them if they tried.

Camelot watched as the youma began to crumble, lowering his shield and looking at the crystal. It had gone silent again, as it had been before, a green jewel decorating his shield.
He wavered.
Whatever energy he had left fled from him and he sank to his knees, his body feeling like it was made entirely of feathers and jello. And lead, which did not compliment the feathers very well. His head was throbbing, pulsing loudly with his racing heart in tune, drumming in his ears and drowning out the rest of the battle.
He shut his eyes, hands on the floor, head drooping down. He felt blood dripping from his face distantly, but it was like a sheen of numbness had enveloped him. The creature was dead, but the war, even the battle, was not over, was it?
His body was not agreeing with his will to keep fighting, to keep helping, to protect. In fact, it was about done with the whole thing. He wobbled again and then fell over, forwards, laying on his stomach against the cool, rainbow road.

Turning from the blond senshi, before a fight could ensue, his eyes went wide as he saw the Great Youma falling apart. No, no, no, this wasn't good, this wasn't supposed to happen. For a moment he felt like screaming but swallowed that down, that wouldn't do anything right now. Fingers twitched and shook as he stepped back from the body as it crumpled, to avoid any parts of anything else.
Staring with wide eyes filled with shock and sadness. This wasn't supposed to happen and the Great Youma wasn't supposed to die. He felt like crying for a moment. He was one who didn't want to see youma hurt or killed and to see this hurt, deeply. Perhaps even deeper because of the connection he'd had to this particular youma. He'd found the claw and had seen it's memories, the youma had even fueled such a feeling in him when putting it's parts back together.
"No...i-it's not supposed to die." His voice shook for a moment before it was back under his control. He didn't once think about how bad this could be, how open to an attack he was right now from the senshi of lust. His attention on the senshi once again. Oh how he wanted to wrap his fingers about that idiots neck and just choke him.
It was Fluorite's voice which snapped him out of his feelings and had him rushing off toward her voice.

The Professional Prophet Hematite had lost a lot of blood since the battle had started. But exhaustion would not set in for him like it would for anyone else this close to death's door. A single senshi's starseed had such energy that he was denied a painless unconsciousness. To separate himself from the pain he had been staring blankly up at the faint dome and the stars beyond, at arcs of light and magic and the crumbling pieces of the massive youma rearing above them all. The blur of the last few moments before they'd crashed into the Surrounding replayed in his mind. Virgo had gotten away. He'd failed. Again. He couldn't see who was beside him but he almost didn't care at this point. A heavy cough shook his body and he grabbed Navi's arm and pulled her closer, leaving it slick with warm blood. If the stranger hadn't come to kill him, they could help him. He didn't want to die. Virgo had shown him that. He coughed again, his only word coming out strangled as he implored the stranger whose face he stared up at. " Help." Her fingers were slick with blood when she drew them back from the general, and she had to swollow before looking back down at him. She knew first aid, had taken the courses in school, but that was in a controlled setting and there'd been no real blood, no real pain, and certainly no real chance of the person dying. But this was the real world(Ha! Irony), and she didn't have time to second guess or hesitate, not if she really wanted to help him. She was looking him over, searching for the source of the blood, when his hand shot up to grab her arm, startling a gasp from her. It had startled her, but she didn't fight it when he pulled her down close enough to hear his rasping whispers. "Yes," she answered immediately, tugging her arm from of his grip. "Yes, I'm here to help. Just lay still, you're bleeding really bad." From everywhere, what the ********. She would have helped anyways, but even near death there was a command to that battered voice that was hard to resist. Trying to ignore the drying blood smeared along her arm she set to work locating wounds. All the while tearing long strips of fabric from the tattered cape beneath him. Some pieces were balled up and pressed to various deep cuts and lacerations, while others were used to tie those pieces in place. She had to staunch the bleeding, that was first and foremost, only after that couldn't she look for other less obvious injuries and consider moving him. It was luck that put them on the edge of the battle and not at it's heart, but she still needed to work quickly. The screams of the skeletal beast above them resonated in her very bones. They were losing, no, they had lost, but she couldn't leave the man beside her. "It's dead, they'd slayed it." She hissed past gritted teeth as she watched the thing fall to pieces, hands pressed against a particularly bad slice along his clavicle.

Pasiphae never got a chance to see if her efforts had been worthwhile, as the moment she sank her fist into that void the Great Youma tumbled to the rainbow road. Which meant, in turn, that the Shame Senshi was falling too... but she did so with a small smile on their face. The youma was gone... it wouldn't hurt anyone anymore.

Bifröst raced after Celsus, skidding to a stop in front of the Princess. Her Princess. She felt obligated to bow and present herself to the girl, but the heat of the battle forced her not to.
She held her hands out like Celsus, back facing the Princess. "Bifröst, at your service, ma'am.. Girl With Glasses and Little Tiny Hat, are you okay?" she called out as Celsus ran to her. She wouldn't move from her spot however.
Her duty was to protect Chronos, and protecting her she would do. Until she was killed. She let out a cry of pain as the weapon flew, cutting across her ribcage, but did not flinch. Lilac eyes were hard as she stared at the man with the weapon (Wolframite) and she did her best not to fall.
