Arc pulled his sunglasses out and put them on. "Which one next?" The V.I.P. device in his hands and ready.

Jake took a look at their surroundings. "Maybe another roller coaster? Or a spinning swing? A ferris wheel is a must..." He listed other rides that he saw, but could not decide. They had a lot of time, but there were just so many to choose from!

Arc pulled him to the nearest one. Its beautiful painted horses and child like music, the mirrors that ocupied empty spaces between scenic murals and its white lights danced in tune. This ride just said memories all over it.

The music of the carousel brought so many memories back to Jake, and he suddenly found himself remembering and missing the deceased Master. It was such a shame he couldn't see Arc and Jake finally getting along, though he might be watching them at this moment.

Though they did get along when Jake had moved in till a certain point that made him hate Jake. But the carousel just erased the bad and left the good. "Which horse?"

Jake spotted a majestic black horse with a black and gold saddle. Its coloring reminded him of Arc's wolf form. "That one."

Arc smiled and helped Jake up, then took the stationary one next to him. The ride attendant came around and checked the riders then went back to her station. The music began to play and the ride began its slow circle.

The music brought so many happy memories back to Jake, and he suddenly remembered how much he wanted to see his family. Guilt settled in then, as he had planned to run away to find them. He tried not to show it on his face, though.

Arc didn't say anything, instead made it look like he was enjoying the ride. He knew Jake's mind and heart. He poked Jake's side.

"Hey!" Jake laughed when Arc poked him. "What was that for?" It was a bit of a stupid question. From experiences, it seemed Arc always knew what was on his mind.

"You're spacing out idiot." He loooked out over the top rim of his sunglasses at him then smiled. "Its our first date still." 'Though if you want to call the dinner on Jake's birthday over a year ago a date?

"Ah, sorry," Jake said with a blush. That's right. He was supposed to enjoy this day, not think about plans to escape. That could come later if Arc doesn't confront him about it.

The ride continued for a few minutes, Arc looked out of place on the ride but that didn't stop him from looking cool as he rode it. He knew that he was leaving a few teenage girls drooling over themselves. They got off and he queationed. "Another high thrill?"

"Yeah, that would be nice. A drop ride, maybe?" Jake asked, feeling strangely distracted. He wasn't sure why, but he couldn't stop thinking about his family. Even with Arc here, he felt rather alone.

"Okay then, Falling Skies." Arc hit a few buttons. "Stop drifting off Idiot." He gave a rap to the boys head.
