The Rebellious Sophomore The weekend felt like a long one, but it soon came to an end and classes had resumed. Luz Maria arrived at her first period class and took a seat. Susanna strolled into the science lab, a grin on her face and a cup of coffee in her hand. She had heard that some crazy things had happened over the weekend, and the sky looked a little cloudy, but the Texan was in a good mood nonetheless. Not seeing any other faces that she was particularly familiar with in the room, Susana plopped down across from Luz Maria. After dropping her bag on the table with a loud clunk, the Texan flashed the Mexican Nation a grin. "Howdy there. How are ya doin' this mornin'?"

Susana rummaged in her bag, hunting for a pencil and her notebook for class as she replied, "Is that so? An' I know that feelin' all too well. There are times when I wish I could tie my boss to a horse and send him ridin' off into the sun." The Texan slapped her pen down on the table as her temper flared just a little, but she quickly recovered her cheerful demeanor from earlier as she continued, "Why did yer boss call ya out? My weekend coulda been better. Since I was a little behind on gettin' started here at school, I was stuck in my room all weekend doin' homework. She sighed a little, thinking of how she wished she could have been at the party or outdoors instead of working on her stupid homework, but at least now she was no longer behind.

The Rebellious Sophomore heh, that attitude of her sister's wasn't so surprising, she did inherit the Mexican temper. Luz Maria just shrugged and said "Just to do a little work, or so he said. When she spotted some of the seniors entering the class, Luz Maria got up "Come on, hermana. We can't stay here for too long. We wouldn't want to run into Spain, mang." she said. ~Slovakia~Zlata Augustine Lietchinsk 11th Grade A little disappointed at not having a chance to speak to one of her few present friends in the cafeteria, Zlata reluctantly arrived at her next lesson. The petite female took a chair and sat down. The classroom was pretty empty save for three other students, she noted as her gaze flitted from student to student and eventually to the board at the front of the class, only to have her attention caught by a small pop of a button on her shirt coming loose. Immediately attempting to do her shirt back up- but alas, tug she may it seemed that the gap could not be closed. With a sigh escaping her lips, she pulled up her white shirt and school blazer as far as she could for modesty, and turned her attention back to the board, feeling somewhat exposed but nonetheless okay. I should really try to see if the school has any bigger uniform shirts... The slovak began to chew on her lip asbent mindedly, struggling to focus on the lesson. A few moments later, just when she felt as if she might be up to paying attention, she heard a small clack, and reluctantly she looked down at the floor. The button had fallen right off! Giving up completely, the brown haired girl's head sank onto her desk, a frustrated muffled sigh making it's way from her lips.
