gataka Hit head > can't think > do stupid > hit head You may want to review your strategy. I don't think buying it was stupid. I just realised after I bought it some people are raging about the BB ticket. I guess its the principal of the thing? I'm just like 'Oh, I wasted two dollars, oh well xD'

I... Bought 6. 
Not-so-coincidentally, that's a Crew's worth. I've been planning to invite a handful of people along for a first pass at DMS, and I'd planned on buying a few of whatever headstart gimmick was running to make sure that was possible. I've sent out a couple, but apparently I'll have to strike Quint off of my list. redface
The Boardwalk issue is a little disappointing, all-told; my expectations were rather higher than what we wound up getting out of it. I'm not entirely sure why they felt obliged to open BB in preparation for DMS (possibly to avoid accusations of all new areas being pay-to-play?), but they obviously did. I know it'll contribute a little mistrust for players buying into future headstart deals (probably including the new Bloodstone Amulet); but I guess we'll see how the exchange pans out, in the end... confused

And Swarf is only on zOMG part time, unless that has change recently which I doubt, JK too as far as I know.
DMS is in testing, it's almost finished etc it was a small project with more progress to begin with. I think they probably shoulda pushed that first tbh, but stuff happens. After DMS they're going back to working on BB.
So while the whole pay to play thing sucks, it's not even like you have to pay a huge sum of money irl, and those gold prices are up there for right now with the amulet but I've a feeling they'll come down and you -do- make gold on zOMG, if you play so much that a headstart ticket is important to you, eventually you'll get that chunk of gold back. So while I understand the disappointment I don't understand the rage, and I'm really sad Quint left us the way he did, because I thought so much more of him than something of a dramatic ragequit.
