Dont know if I could just do part of my gaia name, I have seen people with both of my names. So i'll need to think of something about that.

I have been wrestling with the idea in adding a sig. It is just most art thefts I have seen the culprit manages to somehow erase the signature eek . I just wounder if it is actually worth the effort...

Shock seems to have the right idea though. Haveing some sort of unique background and transparent foreground would be far more difficult to remove.

ya.....my signature does nothing much cept makes it a lil easier to argue my case that its mine...... cuz the theifs dont think to actually stick their fake signature on the edit or something clever.....>_>

and I do like shock's backgrounds..... just takes more work to steal them......lol

the theft problem is just annoying more than anything. IF anyone is truely concerned they can just digitally sign the file itself.....watermarks and stuff......

I am just not TOO terribly attached to the edits, because the bases arent mine and belong to gaia sweatdrop ..... on the ones that the bases are mine though..... ninja those are still so individual just being the poses they are that it would be easy to spot if stolen. (Also I do the entire pose under the clothing as my base so I always have the original layered psd file to prove I drew em)

I just use a simple font for my tags. I's starting to think about changing it a bit and making it more troublesome for them. I also have the original files of mine and i can pick out things, like flaws, if the needs be. (that and i've resently realize that brandywine and i have the same initals o_O)

Tatu, wal-mart might have it, or a computer shop. or you can order one from their website.

They usually sell in the USA, but you can get some in other countries: it'll just be hard. You can buy them off Ebay or something or you can probably go to an electronics store and find it... Like Futureshop or something.

I've just started signing mine. All I've been doing is writing my nickname out in cursive with the paintbrush tool.

Someday I'll get me a tablet and have a good sig.

while ive always meant to put a background for my edits, i admit that the grid i usually put in was developed partly for security purposes sweatdrop

and also cuz im just a grid-oriented kinda guy whee
serioiusly tho, i dig how it looks & feel it adds that "finished" touch to my edits.

methinks there will always b theft attempts, so like saga said, sign off how u want 3nodding we all look out for each other anyhowz when it comes to thievery.

word.

I just put a kanji brush on mine (Oni). So if someone sees my edits without the kanji they know it's stolen. 3nodding

I wasn't really elaborate with my signature... all I did was put my name in Silkscreen. The thing is, all signatures can be removed fairly easily if it's on an avatar edit. sweatdrop But of course, no one actually puts a signature on the edit because they ruin the look of it.
