Jackal said nothing as the pilot began to cuff him, he just sat in silence, his dead eye's staring unblinkingly at the man, a small infuriating smile playing across his lips.
As Zed finished his task the raider moved quickly, as if to head-butt the man, but stopped just short of his target.
Slowly, the raider moved his lips to the mans ear, his deep breaths hot against Zed's cheek.
He whispered threateningly: "Careful... I bite."

Since the soldier was using both hands to try & disarm Koko, it left her other arm free to move. Letting out a furious yell the mercenary hooked her fist round & punched the man in his jaw with surprising strength; the resulting impact causing a loud 'crack' noise that would potentially have enough force to knock him off her slightly. Feeling his weight shift, Koko scrambled away, kicking back as she did so. She'd had to drop her knife in order to get away so her eyes darted around the room for another weapon - her gaze falling on Jackal's magnum. A twisted smile began to creep back onto her features.
"Seems the little doggie left me a weapon..."

Zed stood up and turned to Koko, looking over his shoulder at Jackal.
"Just stay there"
He turned his attention to Koko, noticing her eyeing Jackal's magnum, he planted his heavy boot on top of it.
"Koko, it's me Zed. You know, the pilot guy."

John felt Koko's fist connect with his jaw, feeling it slip back into place. John fell back off as Koko kicked him off, dazed. He shook his head to try and clear his vision. John stood up, pulling the needle and bottle out of his combat vest. He examined the bottle Tranquiliser "s**t." John thought. Then he had an idea. He filled the needle with the tranquiliser. John held the needle in his hand and snuck up behind Koko.
John quickly got Koko into a hold and stabbed the needle into Koko's neck, injecting the tranquiliser into her bloodstream. John withdrew the needle and threw it to one side and prepared himself to grapple once again.

Koko had been staring at Zed for a little while, her head tilting as if there was some sort of recognision. This brief revert to a more normal state was destroyed, however, by the soldier sneaking up behind her & injecting the tranquilizer into her neck. She immediately screamed & twisted around, her adrenaline fueling her even when the sedative began to take effect. She attempted to punch the man in the throat, kick him savagely in the knees to try & shatter them & claw at his eyes with her nails. Whether or not any of these attacks had succeeded she wouldn't know, as soon she fell to her knees & collapsed - a small choked sob escaping her as she lay on the floor. She was still partially concious, but her vision was fading at the edges & her limbs felt too heavy to move.

John felt one of the kicks connect, snapping the knee on his infected leg. He yelled in pain, dropping slightly. John kept hold of Koko, one elbow connected with his eye, causing another yell of pain. John forced himself to keep hold of Koko until she slumped to the ground. John fell backward, groaning as he gripped his knee.

"Goddammit John! She was gunna stop!"
Zed knealt over Koko, lifting her head to look at her face.
"I'm sorry Koko..."
He scooped Koko up and slung her over his shoulder, looking back at John.
"I'll be back for you and that bandit in a second."
The Aiolos drifted overhead, landing nearby so Koko could be brought onboard.

As her head was lifted up the faintest hint of a smile appeared on Koko's face - though it wasn't a crazed smile this time, but warmer. She was vaguely aware of being slung over someone's shoulder, but all the sounds of speech were muted & her vision was blurred so she couldn't figure out who it was. It wasn't long afterwards that the sedative took full effect & she slipped into an empty, dreamless sleep.

John spoke heatedly. "How did you know that? Huh? I didn't. She was flipping out, Zed. She wasn't all there. Now that she's dosed, she'll calm down." John groaned loudly, his outburst causing him to move his broken knee. "Alright. Get her out of here, then come back for that douchebag" He managed to grunt through gritted teeth. John watched the bandit, with pain-filled but cold eyes.

Jackal shifted himself on the floor slightly, leaning towards the soldier, flashing him a mocking smile.
"Douchebag eh? Hm, that was a very hurtful thing to say." He cooed sarcastically.
"Just remember, I may be a bit groggy, and my hands may be cuffed. But you've got a gimped leg. You may look very impressive, but you're an old timer, you're out of shape..." His eyes burned into the man.
"And I do this for living..."

Zed carried Koko into the Aiolos and set her down in the crew's quarters.
"Ahh, you're always yourself getting into trouble arent ya?"
He watched her for a moment then headed through the airlock on his way back to the others.

It was only a few minutes after Zed left that Koko began to stir. Her genetic altering gave her inhuman speed & - as a side effect - caused her to cease aging once at her prime. This speed also affected many of her other bodily responses & functions, including; reaction times, recovery time, heart rate, brain functions etc. This meant the sedative worked it's way through her body much more quickly than in a regular human. Her eyes flickered open & she groaned slightly, her mind groggy from the drug still fading from her system. She vaguely remembered a gunfight in the desert, the Aiolos showing up, then being kidnapped by some guy named Jackal.... Abruptly her eyes flew open & she sat bolt upright, ready to defend herself if necessary. The memory of her ordeal with the raider flashing before her eyes. She glanced round, registering her environment as being that of the Aiolos.
"How the heck did I get here...? Where's Zed...? & Jackal..."
Her eyes narrowed & she ground her teeth together, hands balling into fists.
"Oh yeah, that guy. I'll bloody kill 'im. I'll kill 'im!"

Jackal looked at the soldier for a brief moment before rolling his eyes
"Oh, you're no fun..."
His eyes darted around his desemated shack, before he kicked a piece of rubble across the room towards John.
"You w****rs f***ed my shack..." he said half-heartedly.
His eyes fell on his record player, it looked relatively unscathed, but then he spyed his record box scattered amongst the debris.
His cold blue eyes were suddenly aflame, if a little tired.
"I'm serious, I see one scratch on any of those records, I'll make you people wish you'd never been born..."
He layed back on the floor, looking bored.
"Your mates takin' his time isn't he?"

As Syuzanna turned to see the newly awoken man, he turned his PP-23 so that it was laying horizontal aiming in squarely at Demitri's head. "Don't you f**king call me that and act all bloody friendly!" Syuzanna lowered his voice unintentionally raising it at the same time causing it to drift off and seemly bounce around part of the sleeper ship.
