The Band
I'm too lazy to think of...
"Sounds like a Plan to me" David said nodding slightly. He had stopped speaking while he let the two Genin speak to one another. It was good for the two of them to get this out of the way; In truth he had planned to get the Genin to get more in touch with one another; but he had never planned this; they had seemed distant; but they already had done more then what he was going to have asked them. A moment later the Guitarist pulled out a Scroll and summoned a fairly large amount of camping gear.

"Yeah...a few more things...but they're mostly partner jutsu, and the rest is just perfecting others...I think...if you'd like...you could help me....with a simple game of tag." She flushed a bit, and chewed her fish slowly, thinking it through. "I need to perfect my taijutsu-it requires a lot of kicks and movements, but I need my legs to be stronger and more effective...." Kiko sighed, and threw the fish bones into the fire, watching them smolder. She stared into the blaze, watching it flicker. "And I need to train up my second element....but I don't have any paper to train it with."Tsukiko New Theme

It's Just beneath the skin... After a few minutes Ichi finished with his fish, still listening to Kiko as she spoke about what it was that she still had to train on; Ichi couldn't think of anything that Ichi could actually help her with but from what he had listed there was nothing. "I w-would.... h-help b-but i don't.... s-see how i can" Ichi said still looking at the girl across from him. "A-are you o-okay?" Ichi asked almost as though it was a filler; she seemed a bit out of it after all.

"Ah...maybe we'll figure something out..." Kiko's eyes widened, and her hair stood straight on end as her head whipped around in response to Ichi's last question. It was comical, actually..."I-I'm ok! Wh-what ever would give you the idea th-that I'm n-not?" Her face was red, and she looked like she had paled for a second-maybe she was getting sick? It was probably the swim from earlier, right? The water wasn't the warmest in the world, after all...She pushed a bit of silver hair behind an ear, revealing several glittering earrings that stood out against her dark skin. "Ah, forget about it," she said softly, returning her gaze to the fire. "Maybe we need to get some sleep..."Tsukiko New Theme

Yuzuki quirked an eyebrow at the large amount of equipment that was summoned from the scroll by David. It never ceased to amaze her how much one could fit into that little scroll if one wanted to. With a couple of quick flicks of her wrist the blades of her claws snapped back and locked back against her forearm. She began helping set up that tents with whomever volunteered to help her do so. Her eyes softened a little bit, god she felt so nostalgic doing this, she remembered when her Dad use to take them out camping in the back yard when she was little and before her younger sister was born. She remembered the campfires that they had in their own little backyard pits. Her Dad would be so worried about his marshmellows that they would always catch fire and burn. Needless to say that his smores were never the best. Where did those days go? It seemed when you were little that you just wanted to grow up, and then when you were grown up you just wanted to be little again. The world was a strange place sometimes.
When Yuzuki got the first tent set up she moved onto the second one, they were fairly easy to put together, she was hoping that the light would be with them just a while longer till they got the rest of the campsite put up again, but by the looks of things they might very well be cooking their weenies or whatever rations they brought in the dead of the dark. Yuzuki paused for a moment and her expression became serious. She wondered if she should put some wires around and attach bells to after she laid them around the area? It might give a heads up so they don't get ambushed in the night. Especially if they were still collecting fire wood when it was dark. Yuzuki bit her lip gently and thought it through, maybe after they got the camp fire going she would do that. She wasn't sure if tonights discussion would be tense, none existant or so wild that they may not able to hear anything around them tonight. She would rather not have to fight, but following the principle of that age old saying: I'd rather have it than not need it, rather than need it and not have it. She placed herself back into her task, after this she would look in the immediate area for some kindling so that they could cook their meal... unless the band thought it wise to not light a fire at all.

It's Just beneath the skin... Ichi remained looking over at Kiko for a while before she looked at the fire; Ichi looking at the fire at the same time that Kiko did so. "Y-you c-can.... I'm g-good f-for now" Ichi said still looking at the camp fire that was in front of him; he wasn't really tired; at least; not any more then normal. So its not like he was going to fall asleep at any moment. Ichi simply remained in the place that he had been sitting in before hand; still watching the fire that was crackling in front of them.

Kiko sighed again, twiddling her thumbs. It happened whenever she got nervous, and though it didn't happen often, there were usually signs that she was feeling off-kilter. Like now, for example. San barked, and Kiko jumped, jilted from her thoughts. "Um...maybe we could train your taijutsu up, so you can defend yourself until you can control Shukaku?" she asked, posing the question to Ichi. It was better than nothing-she wanted to get out of the awkward silence as fast as possible. It was clear, even to Ichi, that something was making her very uncomfortable at the current time.Tsukiko New Theme

The band members slowly went about and did there own thing. The Drummer was still reading his book; sitting inside one of the tends silently; the the guitarist was resting with his back against a tree; headphones on his eyes and eyes closed. However as David looked over at the Genin he spoke. "So what are you two going to do, We wont do much during the night; other then mainly relax, traveling is our down time; as you might guess we don't get much rest while in town" David said before walking around and picking up some firewood here and there; before making a small pile in the center of the area that had been set up as there camp.

It's Just beneath the skin... Ichi hook his head slightly from side to side as Kiko asked this. She had made the comment about getting to bed, meaning that she was tired; and Ichi 1) didn't want to keep her up longer then she wanted to be up, and 2) If she was drained and tired tomorrow they wouldn't be able to get anything done seeing as how she would ether be half asleep or needing to sleep during the day i order to actually wake up. "N-no... I t-think you s-should get some s-sleep" Ichi said looking over at Kiko from the fireplace. He would stay away a bit longer and head to bed later; if he felt like it.

She smiled a little-not the normal, toothy grin; but an actual smile. "I meant tomorrow silly. But if you insist...there's a little bit of room between us in the tent-and you're not allowed to sleep outside, got it?" Kiko laid out Ichi's sleeping clothes at the foot of the tent, and took off her hoodie. "Um...goodnight, Ichi..." Kiko crawled in the tent, curling up on the left side in one of the blankets. She was fast asleep without even knowing it, covered up to her chin by the blanket. San was still with Ichi outside, her tail thumping against the ground.Tsukiko New Theme

It's Just beneath the skin... Over the next few Hours Ichi remained in place watching the fire place. Over time Ichi grabbed his coat which had dried and slipped it on before he moved to a different spot, a bit closer to the fire that was still burning brightly. Ichi eventually fell asleep outside with his back placed against the log that he had been sitting on before hand. Ichi sat there sleeping quietly; and thanks to his coat he wasn't going to be cold as he slept.

Around dawn, Kiko woke up, stretching her limbs out. Ichi must have slept outside-his blanket and pillow remained untouched. She'd quarrel at him later. For now, she sighed and went outside in her "skivvies", feeling the dirt beneath her toes. She grinned, and let loose a quick kick against a nearby tree, sending leaves scattering. Ah, this felt good... She prodded San awake, and moved Ichi into the tent, removing his boots and covering him up. Poor kid never had been able to sleep, so why not let him for a little bit? There were more fish to catch, and breakfast was in dire need of...but that would come after training. She smiled, and prepared to get ready for the most intense taijutsu training ever.Tsukiko New Theme

"Well, I hadn't really thought about it. I was just gonna keep watch. I was kinda worried about riling up all the animals around us by making too much noise" Kazin replied to David. ByakuganKazin started his usual business deciding where everything and what everything was that was around him. He kinda wanted to train a little bit, but if he were to do that he would need to scout the area. He shrugged and looked back towards David. "Well, what do you guys do to pass the time? All I do is pretty much train or listen to music." Kazin added with his sincere smile.

Kiko had targeted a specific area for San to mark, which the little dog was more than happy to oblige with after some swift gulps of water. The area they marked was a good distance from camp, to not only increase effectiveness but also to protect Ichi from the damaging forces that the two were about to create. San was up and at the ready as Kiko made the proper hand signs for the combination transformation, both transforming into a large, two-headed wolf once more. There was little communication between the two of them, though both Kiko and San could understand each other through their thoughts. “Just think of it like the one we did in Cloud before we left, but bigger. And we can’t see anything…” “Is…safe?” “I’m not sure, but we’re going to give it a go, all right girl? Just concentrate on the area you marked and we will use the spiraling form you perfected a bit ago from learning how to mark.” San growled slightly, still unsure of what would happen if things went wrong, but went along with her master’s plan. It was all about the speed they gained-there would need to be a speed so great that it would warp the winds around them, turning the air itself into a weapon. This was actually pretty useful, because if Kiko and San missed, at least the winds would do some damage to their opponent. Kiko’s wolf head roared, signaling the time to begin running. There was plenty of forest, so Kiko and San had tramped back several hundred yards before taking off. Left paw, right paw, left paw, right paw…the giant paws thudded in unison, as the giant wolf began to turn itself slowly. A single spiral, then another spiral, three spirals…it seemed to be a slow process, so the giant wolf had to turn in a circle during the spirals-it made both Kiko and San quite dizzy and nauseated, but they pushed on. A few more spirals, a few more twists of the body, anything to make that spiraling motion work…and then, little by little, the wolf gained speed. The spirals became continuous, causing the air to shriek with the whirlwind created, and the surrounding area, which was dense with trees, became a chopping block for the giant drill-like wind. Kiko pushed them on-but there was a problem. With the two of them moving at such an accelerated speed, they were…well, blind to their surroundings. There was an immediate panic about Ichi and his safety, before the scent of San’s urine came into their noses clear as day. Kiko had half a mind to wrinkle her own nose-even though she was used to it, the strong, acid smell of San’s urine was not the most pleasant thing to have a whiff of. But at least they had their target area now, and Kiko pushed San towards it, panting as they spiraled. The blades of air made the trees whistle in the rising sun’s light, causing shreds of trees and uprooted shrubbery to fly past, like a green snow made of leaves. The particular victim in this whole training regime was a thick, sturdy tree-it smelled dead, looked dead; hell, it even felt dead. But the thickness of the tree was what attracted Kiko to it-if she and San could bore a hole through the tree, then for sure they would know how to do this jutsu. Screw her father and his proud, snobby clan-even if she was just a half-breed, a nobody, she could still do what they did. Because, like it or not, Kiko was still an Inuzuka. And San was an Inuzuka canine. The top speed they had reached still was not exceeded, which had to be done in order to not only bore a hole into the tree, but also to snap it in half if at all possible. The two spun wildly in the air, causing a higher pitched whistle to come into play as the blades of air screamed around them. If there wasn’t enough careful and precise timing and effort put into this, then the entire jutsu would fail horribly, and Kiko and San both would suffer severe consequences from it. Of course, their bodies were completely straining from the immense amount of chakra to continue said jutsu and to even perform it-it was consuming Kiko’s own chakra at a rapid rate much higher than San’s. What they failed to notice, because they had not marked a trail to the tree, was that the two of them were tearing up trees and vast amounts of shrubs and other plant life. In fact, the spiral seemed to be a green color now, perhaps due to the tinting that the plant life gave. In any case, it looked like a washing machine from hell had manifested itself in such a way that it became a literal living nightmare. Pity the fool who tried to go up against this jutsu-though there were reports of a pair of twins surviving through a massive summoned gate many years ago. In fact, there was no real use for this jutsu in the Inuzuka clan-the last time it had even been used was long before Kiko and San ever entered the world, and even then, the taijutsu part was not learned-it was only the double-headed wolf that sought itself out of the deep reaches of the Inuzuka arsenal. Though, perhaps there was a good reason for this-Kiko felt herself being drained even more rapidly than before, though she felt the need to keep on going. They were going to dent that tree. Or at least dent it-Kiko wanted to blow the tree into thousands of little wooden chips that would spray the forest in a brown, gunky rain. But that was fine with Kiko-though Ichi would probably become spastic about it later on. Kiko shook her head lightly, closing her eyes. She needed to focus right now, and not let her mind wander off. Ichi was powerless at the moment, and she promised she would protect him. And Kiko almost always kept her promises. The victim tree was up ahead-Kiko and her dog might have been completely blind to seeing the tree, but they could smell it, and the area it was marked in. The Kiko-San spiral swirled around the area as they reached it, hollowing out a colossal area-it looked like a crater almost, minus the smoldering impact site. The marked trees stood no chance against the two-the trees were cut cleanly through by the spiral, like a hot butter knife through fresh butter. A massive wave of trees threw themselves up into the dawn’s light, giving the impression of a severe explosion or perhaps even an attack site for many miles. Kiko’s head was pounding-her body was beginning to ache from the strain of the jutsu, and San was tiring out as well-they had torn a clean path through the dead trees in the area, sending splinters raining down over parts of the forest. No animals could be heard, as though the silence was a memorandum to former homes and winter food storage areas, though there were no leftover nuts or pinecones tossed into the air with the old trees. Several terrific ripping noises occurred as Kiko and San plowed through the trees, uprooting the dead masses and tossing them into the air like confetti. Kiko felt extremely nauseated by this point and time-she felt close to throwing up-but she pushed herself on, trying to keep things going. It would not do for her to black out in the middle of a spiral this large-not only would the combination technique wear off, but she and San could be severely hurt by the fall and the dissipating blades of air they created. There just wouldn’t be a way to prevent some serious injury from occurring if she blacked out-and Kiko didn’t know how well Ichi’s medical skills were when it came to the supremely injured. The spiral lapsed lightly, but Kiko pushed herself again-they were going to hit that tree, and they were going to take it out. She could plainly see why her family never really used this jutsu-it was more of a hindrance than a help, unless one practiced with ti frequently. She was sizing up her and San’s injuries-they’d both be exhausted beyond belief after this was over with, probably to the point where neither of them could move for several hours, but this was worth it. To protect someone you cared about was a good thing, right? Maybe Shiso was right about the whole ‘liking Ichi’ thing being ok… The ground tore itself into rivets as the giant wolf drilled into the earth, causing a massive ditch to be dug through the area. At least now new things could grow-the giant spiral had upturned the earth at least four feet down, causing rocks and bits of earth to rain down in similar fashion to the woodchips from the earlier spiral. More than enough force was behind this jutsu-not only did the ground tear and turn itself over, but the untouched areas around the ditch were sliced by the miniature blades of air, making the field look more like a war zone than what it had been. San’s urine was still in their noses-they were getting closer to the tree, and San panted lightly-she was getting just as exhausted as Kiko was. Kiko made a small noise, indicating that after this, they’d rest for several hours and recuperate their strength, before they traveled on to Kirikagure. San grunted back, and the conversation played itself out as they continued to spiral. However, as they got close to the large tree that Kiko had chosen as the target, both Kiko and San agreed that they should finish this up, and make it a good, clean cut through the tree. They circled back around in the spiraling wind-there wasn’t enough room for them to get the needed speed to cut the tree and bore through it. Back-tracking a bit, the wolf began to run again, pushing itself to the full attainable speed, before beginning to spiral faster and harder than before. Both heads let out respective roars, and spun head first into the tree, using the scent of San’s urine to guide the transformed pair to the tree. Massive tearing noises sounded off-like high-pitched bombs screaming through the morning air, dropping wooden chips and flakes in their wake. The tree stood no chance-the giant spiral bored into the trunk like a drill, cutting it cleanly through the middle in a circle. But the spiral didn’t stop-and neither did the tree. Instead, the broken tree-half was flung into the air, enough to where it could be seen, and the giant spiral followed, shredding through the tree like it was mere paper. The spirals continued, and the tree became smaller and smaller as the giant double-headed wolf turned it into a fine sawdust, which snowed down into the ditch from earlier and the surrounding area. At last, the tree disappeared-there just wasn’t any more of it to shred through, and the spiral slowed in mid-air, the ferocious roars sounding triumphant against the skyline. Both Kiko and San were completely drained of their energy-they were at least at half their respective chakras, if not less, and the combination transformation wore off as the spiraled back down to earth, leaving a huge cloud of smoke behind in the air. Kiko grabbed San in her arms, and tried to break their fall using the remaining trees as a way of slowing them down as they fell. However, Kiko’s muscles were too sore and exhausted from the entire jutsu to even move more than just grabbing San, and her legs faltered underneath of her as she tried to land. Nothing broke though, and she panted and groaned as each tree hit her back and her legs, before she tumbled to the forest floor. She smiled at bit as a giant, powdery cloud of sawdust flew up from underneath her, and laid there, unable to move. Kiko blinked, and let her arms loose so San could move, right before she blacked out. Dual Wolf Fang Rank-B - 2031/2000 Rank B-achieved!Tsukiko New Theme

Yuzuki looked over at David after he asked what they were going to be doing during the night. "What do you mean, 'What are you two going to do?' We were highered to be look outs and guards, so that's what I at least plan to do. I hate doing jobs half assed, and seeing as it is something that I'm getting paid for, then I'm going to do it regardless." Yuzuki didn't really understand why David was asking that question. It should be pretty obvious, if the band was going for some down time then all the more reaons to be on guard. Yuzuki kind of gave Kazin a side glance but said nothing, she wasn't all that interested in starting another squabble between then when they might need his Byakugan when it got darker, she didn't know much about him, this was only her second mission with him really, well, first whole mission as he failed to return with them on his last mission. Once everything was done and set up, Yuzuki walked up a tree that was nearby, using its height to her advantage. Out of sight out of mind. She rested her back against the trunk of the tree and snuggled into it a bit, she was tired with a mixture of training and the concert. She tilted her neck harshly one way then turned it to the maximum stretch the other way.
