Gidget fidgets with some wires in her creations com-systems. She pushes her legs out and slides across the floor in her office chair. The monitors show all com-systems as green. She grins and giggles quietly, completely ignoring the fact that the people who own the facility are now trying to cut their way into the lab using torches. She doesn't mind much though. She'll be done by the time they cut all the way through.

She slides back to the strange looking plate of metal. She picks it up and places it against the back of her head. The plate nearly covers over half of her bald head. She can feel the electronics inside of it and concentrates. Her face distorts into one of panic and immense pain. She can hear everything, see everything, and it is tearing her mind apart. Phone calls, text messages, networked security cameras. She knew the omni-system would work, but not like this.

Gidget grits her teeth and grunts, the veins in her forehead becoming visible in her flushed face. Slowly, and mercifully, the images and sounds begin to dwindle. She takes a deep breath. She an feel her heart beating inside of her head. Somewhere in there, though, is a lot of chatter about winged girls and melting boots. Then something about a localized snow flurry. She smiles, wishing she could be there with her friends now.

Something else catches her ears, and she shifts her focus to phone calls about a girl with purple hair popping in from out of no where. They were from patrons at a bar somewhere. An image capture now, and sure enough it was a girl about Tansy's age. Around her are a news anchor (whose name Gidget can't recall this moment), and a large and dangerous looking man with malice in his eyes.

She tries to find a security camera in the bar. She sighs in relief. There is a hidden camera in a mirror behind the bar. She thinks that maybe this girl is another meta-human, and that she might be in a bit of trouble. The big man gives her a bad feelings.

She opens her eyes and continues to work. Every now and again she shuts them long enough to look after the strange girl with the purple hair.

Lev didn't bat an eye, now stepping forward. "Yep, name's not Randall nor Flagg nor either or, but i know that you should know better," Lev stepped firmly between Daisy and the girl, causing her hand to move away from the girls face, "Then to touch another's child." Lev suddenly seemed..
Different. The hairs on his head seemed to bristle, move like a single cluster of icicles, once lax now taut and slick. "I'd think it'd be best if you leave off 'fore excitement kills you." With this Lev held up a single finger at Daisy, wagging it back and forth slowly.Don't tread on me, it seemed to signify. His other hand went towards his back, giving the young girl a thumbs up only she would be able to see. With that, Lev began towards the door, his thumbs up turning into an open palm, pushing the girl gently backwards toward the door.
Lev's eyes seemed to brighten, then dim, then brighten...

Trinity saw the thumbs up which she thought of it as a signal to get out from behind the bar table. She then felt his hand pushing her in the direction of the door. She noticed that his hair was acting strangely but did not dare question it. She thought it was weird, but the man was doing her a favor and so she took the opportunity to rush out the opened the door and left. She lets out a sigh of relief "phew".

When she was outside Trinity got a better idea of where she was and started to head back in the direction toward her bike.

Lily looked at her bike, then at the strange array of people she was now in front of. Hearing another man say something about costuming, which she quickly gathered to be a excuse for the girls wings. Lily was pondering on how she was going to get the small group to where the man who she thought was responsible for this was at.

She sighed, rubbing her temple, her phone vibrated again. Just great, my face is probably all over the news! she thought to herself as she looked at the news crew and the bewildered fire man. Maybe if another voice put a in put about this 'theatre' school they would leave them alone so they could get on their way.

"Yea, as he said. " she said nodding to the group. "Just a group of actors/esses, nothing to see here. Just trying to promote our school.. " she hesitated a moment, forgetting the man the man had first said the school was. "Acting Angels." she finally said after a good 10 second pause. Hoping that her hesitation wouldn't of given away her lie.

She pulled her cell phone out from her pocket, grimacing as she saw the all to familiar number, she was going to have to face her sooner or later, but right now was not the time. Lily sighed as she put her phone back in her pocket, allowing her voice mail to pick up the call. She couldn't explain to her mother what she was in the middle or right now. Just as her phone stopped vibrating, the box of four kittens began to pick up a rather noisy cry. The baby kittens where hungry, scared, and possibly cold.

The small teenager watched as the news reporters and fire man quickly made a dash back to the building. She heard a crash as a level of the DashWorth building caved in, this was it, the chance they needed to get away. She nodded over to the side, hoping the group would get her message. "He was in town square. I followed him to a small bar and grill. I can show you, but we have to hurry! he was with a cute little blond, I might add." she looked around, lowering her voice, making sure nobody was around to hear what she had to say next. "He was like Ako.. I saw him use his power to nearly burn a man to death. I don't think he is finished either. " they needed to hurry to the town square, the only thing Lily worried about was the girls wings.

(Simply imply Lev has his backpack on now.)
Lev held his finger up until he had one foot out of the bar and grill, then held it low, suddenly turning it into a quickly clenching fist.
All the lights within the bar suddenly blew out, and blackness enveloped the room. "The name's Leviathan."
A harsh clicking noise, and anyone now fumbling toward the door would find it dead bolted from the outside, an impossible feat without the use of unnatural forces. Very possible indeed then.
Leviathan wandered out into the street after the girl, his long legs allowing him to step up next to her in no time. His gangly tall appearance looked rather goofy next to such a smaller frame, but no one would laugh seeing him in person, seeing such a being in the flesh.
He seemed otherworldly, sinister. A cold detatched alien of a sorts, one with wit and charisma. A most dangerous combination to be sure. Volatile no doubt.
"So then, where are the others." Lev's voice had none of the concern from before, only chilling execution. This wasn't a question, it was an order. "Like you, where are they, for i know there are more.. I smell them.."

"And you were worried about me with that girl," Daisy said coldly to the bartender as the lights flickered out, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her lighter and lit it- the little bit of light causing her blue eyes to sparkle in the darkness. She slowly walked to the front door and swore as she pulled it to no avail. "I may be direct," she snapped at the bartender, "but I'm a p***y cat- sure I have my claws, but unlike that snake I don't have venom."

She returned to the bar and said, "There is a back door, no doubt. Can you lead me there? I need to follow them ASAP. Like I said I have my claws, but the cat can use those claws to protect the child from the poisonous snake."

Annie nodded at Lily's prompting and said quietly under her breath, "You're right, we have to get there as soon as possible. The lie about 'Acting Angels' isn't going to matter if we have some strange man setting the town on fire."

Grimacing, she glanced at her bare feet and muttered under her breath, "I have to get some proper clothes before I do anything, though..." She grimaced as she looked at the others, "Sorry..."

"So then, where are the others." Lev's voice had none of the concern from before, only chilling execution. This wasn't a question, it was an order. "Like you, where are they, for i know there are more.. I smell them.."

Trinity looked at the man that followed her, "You have my thanks for getting me away from the lady. I would be more than happy to help you but I don't know who are these others you speak of. I'm still uncertain if they are any "others" as you mentioned. I was hoping I'd find something in the library by now if there was anything... Pardon my asking but... are you like me?" she looks around "Were you hit by a meteor too?"

Lev gave her a wry glance, then looked around. Standing on or even near the street seemed dangerous, seeing as Lev thought he could be a wanted criminal by now. "I reckon i am like you, but in a different manner." Lev rubbed at the back of his head, agitation creeping like ice over his mind, filling and expanding into every worming crevice. "Ain't no library on what's wrong with us, but i do know some things.." Lev held his hand up, allowing the girl to view his hand rippling with electrical current a moment "We should talk somewhere far and away from here. I only locked the front door.." Lev looked back at the restaurant, anguish now visible upon his face.
He didn't want to screw this up.
"Come on." Lev wandered off the street into a sub-division, beginning to weave through the many neighboring yards.

Trinity's eyes widen as he demonstrated his ability. She nodded slowly as he suggested that they talk else where. She follows the man in hopes she would find the answers she had been looking for. Hopefully she would find others that have similar conditions and could teach her about her own powers she had gained that fateful night.

"No!" Gidget shouts in frustration. Not only had the dark man taken her, but he killed the power in the building. Her mind races for a solution. Street side security cameras? No that would take too long. There are so many in the city and she still doesn't have full control over the omni-system. Satellite imagery? No, it wont take the government long to find out that their space cameras have been hacked.

Gidget jumps as there is a loud bang at the door behind her. She is dismayed to see that they have gotten a second torch running at the other side now. She moans harshly, now she wouldn't have time to finish everything. She thinks for a moment, deciding on what devices to leave out of her creation. With some heartache, she decides that the weapons would have to be left out. She adjusts fire and starts the finishing touches on the headpiece.

Leviathan Cortez shambled down behind one house to the next, his eyes closed.
Lev was sensing electromagnetic fields, the current that runs along and around the average human body, within each of the houses. The thrum of energy began to dissipate as he stepped onward, until Lev stood near a seemingly empty house. Lev opened his eyes, now staring up at a modest estate. A for sale sign sat lop-sided and tangled in a drain near the houses street, and Lev delicately placated his fingers over it, wiping the dirt away.
The address matched the abode. "Perfect. This house here seems empty.." Lev let his hand slide over the knob, a miniature explosion filling the inside of the houses hallway as the lock blew out. Lev turned and smiled, wandering into the house. Lev took to the living room, shutting all the blinds, giving one last glance out into the quickly darkening streets.
It looked like snow was coming.
Lev then closed the front door, another snap of electricity whipping from his fingers.
This time, the door was smelted shut.
Lev wandered into the bare living room, two plastic chairs and an old couch the only things around. The lights overhead seemed broken, but Lev held his hands up, concentration creasing his forehead. The brittle lights flickered, then glowed with a dim brightness, filling the room with a greyish tint. Lev wrapped his hands around one of the folding chairs, sitting on it with the back facing forward, hands resting upon the back arch. "I never introduced myself.." Lev spoke soundly, whipping out a cigarette. It seemed to simultaneously light as it touched his lips, a contrail spiraling out into the white chalked ceiling from the tip. "The name's Leviathan. Care for a smoke?" Leviathan held out his pack of Marlboro Reds, one eye cocked. The room was cold, cold enough to see one's breath..

Trinity was so focused on finding answers she didn't really think of the danger she could be in. She follows the man inside the house watching him break in and then sealing the front door. She started having a sinking feeling about this, but she followed. The man introduced himself as Leviathan and offered her a smoke. Trinity responds, "No thanks...my name is Trinity."

"Trinity is it?" Leviathan gave a warm grin, exhaling away from the girl, wiping at his forehead. "If it's cold i can make it warmer." Suddenly the room seemed to jump a couple degrees and rising, the crackle of the thermometer from the other room's side wall loud and energetic. Lev looked around, snorting smoke from his nostrils. Lev then returned his gaze to the girl. "So, when did the last of the pain stop..When did your hair change color? Your eyes?" Lev pointed at her eccentric hair and bright green eyes. "I had pain as well, no doubt more then your own. I couldn't near walk for days.. But then i returned to work like any normal man." Lev's smile quickly turned into something almost wraith-like, only to shift back into the realm of the norm, a simple curt grin. "But we aren't normal anymore. So tell me Trinity, if'yer hankerin' for it, what do you think you can do." Lev's cigarette had an ash an inch long and growing, yet he refrained from tapping it.
This was going to get interesting.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:18 pm

Trinity nodded confirming that it was her name. She rubs her shoulders for it was cold. Leviathan some how warmed up the room. "I'm not sure about pain... but ..." Trinity placed her hair behind her ears. A habit she had given up for a while because she wanted to keep her pointed ears hidden. " I suppose the most of it right after I was hit... my ears were ringing and felt like they were being pulled. I was completely blind for a few minutes. After the blindness faded away... my once hazel eyes have become, well... green and... I didn't need my glasses anymore, they glow from time to time but I'm not sure why. At first, my hair was white after I realized that I got really sick with a fever and everything. I stayed in bed for a week my hair fading from white to purple. When I was better, it was as if I was given new body. I'm in better shape now then I was before. Heck the unlikely thing of the school's sports teams asking me to join them, became more frequent. But I had to turn them down. I didn't think it was right plus there's something else I'm still not sure I fully grasp..." she paused for a moment wondering how she was going to explain this.

There is something else but I can't figure out what triggers it or how I can control it. I thought it was dreams at first... but I think it's more real than I thought. In these dreams... I'm surrounded in a sea of darkness there's no light anywhere. Then when I wake up I'm under my bed and often would bump my head as I woke. There was one time I was on the floor below my room. I thought I was studying too much that I didn't make it to bed. I suppose I kept making up excuses for myself to avoid what it really is. Today I couldn't tell you how I ended up in the bar but it was the first time it happened while I was awake. One second I was on my bike getting ready to go home, I trip the next second I'm at the bar.
...I'm afraid someone will get hurt if I don't learn how to control this ability..."

Trinity laid everything out. She wasn't sure if or when she would find someone that could relate to her in this manner and hopefully he would have some answers for her.

Leviathan did what he was really good at, listening, and for a good long while after the girl had spoken Lev didn't move, only sat there, staring at her, looking away one moment then back, a new cigarette already burning in his lips. Lev let the lights grow slightly brighter, then dim again, toying with the electricity of the room, feeling the current, tapping it with that lever in his head, the lever that was given as a gift.
From who? Hell if Leviathan Cortez knew, or cared, but it was a powerful tool to be used.
Lev gave a smug look, snorted, then coughed smoke out of his mouth, holding a closed fist to his hacking maw. When his back stopped hitching, Lev looked up, then back at Trinity. "Alright, i'll help ya out kiddo." Lev smiled, now standing in the darkened room. "When i first started, i stood with my eyes closed. It helps with the little tinkering in ya head." Lev tapped his temple, giving a sly wink to Trinity. "You've got to push at the lever, 'fore i calls it that, in your head where it all began, all that backwash, ya know, the unknown that 'want there before ya hear? Ya gotta clear that gutter..Just concentrate." Lev's eyes were intense on the girl now, his breath bated in anticipation.
