"Asa will be fine right now. Take a seat outside, relax." She smiled softly up at Relic and continued her work, you could see that her healing was working very slowly.
About 2 or 3 hours pass by before Aeryn made it to the RCS building, going up and feeling her mate before finding him. She looked over at Asa, still having a gaping hole but his heart was mended now at least, some color returning to his skin. she walked up to Relic and held him tight.

Seeming to have relaxed near Phantom, Relic dropped his head to his mate's shoulder.. biting back grief as he asked softly. " the children?"

"They are safe. I had to find homes for them and scatter them about but still close enough just in case we had to get them back quickly. They can all still play together as well." Aeryn started to shake as her own dread starting to take affect, this being the first time she had any time to think about herself then someone else.

sliding his arms around her soothingly he glanced at the bed, asking in a too-calm tone. " Did Asa get anyone out from his pack?" he would kill that b*****d.. what ever, who ever, he was.. for killing his clan. " Any women, or children?" it was impossible to him.. to think someone would slaughter women and children as easily as they did the men. what ever they were up against.. it was evil.

"I found some children. They told me they snuck out to play tag." She let out a shaky sigh and looked at Asa. "He is doing well though, there is still hope."

Gritting his teeth he nodded, falling silent as he offered his mate comfort.
It was hours later that Asa stirred, the wound over his heart appearing like a raw rifle shot. sadly.. it was a improvment from having his heart exposed. his gaze slid open, orange eyes catching sight of Phantom. he knew her.. she had been with Mim the night he gave his heart. his hand rose, caught her wrist gently. " i will.. heal. you look as if you need rest." his kin was near, he felt it.. and it made him close his eyes in grief.

Phantom gently pulled her hand away and slouched in the chair, her eyes sagging.
Aeryn moved over to Asa, not letting go of Relic as she put her hand on Asa's forearm. He was alive, and that made her relax a little more as she looked up at her mate. "He needs to stay here for a few days. His mate should be here some time soon, and that will make things a little better for him."

" I am sorry, Aeryn." Asa inhaled, his expression agonized. " i thought i could catch him, before he.." forcing himself to remain concious he placed a hand over his forhead, saying raggedly. " he looked like my son.. i did not realize it was a imposter until he attacked." if he had known.. even, if he had reacted fast enough to beat the monster here.. maybe the others could have defend themselves.
Relic stood forward with his mate, his eyes turning teal as he shook his head. " This is that creatures fault, not your own. you are still half dead.. so shut up and rest."

"Relic is right Asa, it isn't your fault. And you need sleep. We can't lose you Asa, if we lose you, we lose everything. We still have a large amount of children, we can regrow our pack in the coming years." She smiled softly down at Asa patted his arm. "No one would have known because it looked so much like your son."

It was clear just how weak he was, that he obeyed them grudgingly.. his eyes closing as he dropped his hand to his chest, saying quietly. " let Mim and Si'ek be safe.." his voice trailed off as sleep pulled him away.
Relic nudged Phantom's shoulder gently, offering. " go get rest, we can watch him until you are refreshed. you saved him.. i owe you a debt." he did not comment on the children, though he was worried for them. they had to stop this thing.. before it desided to finish what it started.

Phantom jolted a little but nodded slowly and stood, patting Relic on the arm before taking off to her room. "Let me know if he turns for the worse."
Aeryn nodded and pulled the chair closer to Asa. "Sit down love, you need to rest too."

" What i need.. is that creatures head being crushed by a rock over and over again. Watch over him my love, i will ensure no one disturbs him." Aggitated he shifted to his jackal form, prowling to the doorway and sinking into a crouch. he wouldnt risk that creature catching them off guard again.. he'd stand watch. if someone came within ten feet of the door with harmful intent, he and his wife would tear them to shreds.

Aeryn sat by Asa, taking a look at him and then at Relic. She had time to relax, and she would. She leaned back into the chair and closed her eyes, letting her senses take over just in case as she drifted in and out of sleep for now.

True formed her and Wadjet at the front door, pushing the big thing out of the way and looking around. "Phantom? I need to talk to you real quick."
Phantom grumbled as she heard True's voice, moving out of bed and going down the stairs sloth pace. "What do you want?"
"Something feels off. What is going on?" True crossed her arms and looked up at Phantom with a soft smile.
"I'll let you know at a later date, I don't know what side you are on anymore so its hard to tell you anything." She looked down and saw Wadjet. "Who is he?"
