Tjaden heard the voice of the thief. He didn't fully understand, but hesitancy was fatal in battle. He had to trust that the halfling would do what he did best so long as Tjaden did the same.
Tjaden pulled his sword behind his shield, pointing it away from himself and the cultist, instead, he crouched low, set his shoulder against his shield and launched himself upwards, his whole body wieght put behind the shield. The aim was to knock the cultist back and take the wind out of him.

Tjaden attempts to shield bash his opponent into the trap!
2 The cultist braces himself before impact and only takes minor damage, and is not staggered back. 3-4 The cultist takes minor damage from the impact, but as the trap springs, he avoids the projectiles 5-7 The cultist takes moderate damage from the impact, and minor damage from the sprung trap 8 The cooperative efforts of Tjaden and Kal bring down the cultist in a flurry of arrows and knives.
Results: The cultist staggers backwards as the shield knocks the wind from its lungs, just in time to press down on a pressure plate set in place by the halfling rogue. Arrows and knives spray at the dragonoid, some hitting, others missing. Both remaining cultists are Near Death.

Kal went towards the dragnoid near Erron, and attempted a backstab on him from the shadows. He went to that one because Erron was more damaged than Tjaden. Kal figured that Tjaden could finish the other one.
((Haha. Finish Him!. Mortal Kombat anyone?))

1 Kal falls flat on his face. No damage. 2-5 Kal's backstab connects and kills it. 6 Critical Hit. The backstab does...um.. The same thing.
Results: With one final gasp, the dragonoid collapses to the ground as it clutches for its chest. The cultist falls dead.

With one cultist remaining laren fires one last arrow at the resilent foe before it could even think to cast another healing spell on itself.

Kal, still in the shadows, makes his way to the Last Cultist and attempts to backstab him as well.

As cultist cornering Erron falls, he smiles inside. It was time to stop feigning weakness, time to turn the tide, he focused his chakra into his palm before ducking down into a defensive position, he focused his life energies into the most serious of his wounds and kneaded them with the power he had been first taught. (My brother and his WoW are taking up roughly 70 percent of the PC time, winter break is fun :/ )

Unlike Kal, Tjaden spent no time striking at vital parts. With his quarry on the floor, Tjaden commenced a series of forceful downward strikes, hack and slashing at his prone opponent. He would rip the cultist apart with his blade if he could.

In a sudden strange turn of events, the god of discord and chaos obviously made a temporary appearance as a rock falls from the ceiling and crushes the final cultist before anyone can attack him.
1-100 Win.
You can almost hear these words echo throughout your minds:
"Bloody cripes, that was too ridiculous, even for my tastes!"
The voice disappears and you are left alone in the room once more.

Kal chuckles at the Gods who seemed to finally turn on their side. "So, how do we follow a disappearing, glowing ball?" he asked the group, wondering what their next course of action was. He also nodded to Laren and tossed her the leftover arrows that he didn't use in the trap.

The crushing rock gave Erron a second wind. Now they only had to get the orb and get out, it seemed to him that none of them had counted on such a difficult battle nor on such a freak miracle coming in their favor, his wounds seeping he held his Chakra and considered using it, before shaking his head and continuing with his healing.

"We must follow the last cultist quickly." Tjaden said urgently, turning and for the first time realizing the status of Erron and Kal. "That is if we are to continue?" Tjaden left it open ended....

Kal looked at himself and saw the scratchs, burns, and other damages. The Health potion helped, but it didn't mean he was perfect. "Well, there's one of him. Four of us, and not to mention the three potions we have. We could always use them," he replies before slowly beginning to loot the three Dragon Cultist Bodies. He hoped to find a weapon, trap trigger, gold, or even potions at this moment. Any of the above would help.
