Cale Darksun That begs the question of why Palpantine's army of darksiders havent located it yet. Especially if its potent enough to send telepathic screams across lightyears or at least affect the Force enough to make your spidey sense go off. Only when your close enough, its not intestella. Most of it is still on the drawing board as I said. But its all kind of a distant wind, nothing like blowing up Alderaan. I'm trying to find an adiquette place to hide it though. Maybe I'll just make it a moon and not a planet. @Nelo: I'm not quite explaining it correctly. sweatdrop

Normal people know it because it's a good tale, but they can't get to it because of gravity wells and nebulae and whatnot messing up any exploration attempts. Force sensitives can't sense it because it's presence is hidden from the force, and if they could pick it up with some sort of magic jedi intuition, they're still just as screwed as anyone else, because they've got to figure out hot to safely navigate the entire path, which of course puts them in the same boat as the original normal npcs. And who knows how many jedi have died trying to navigate the waters...
Yes, you're explaining this quite perfectly. You're inventing a planet of aestetic pleasures. Essntially a Shangri-la of Star Wars.

Well, since nobody can get to it, why not just write it up and get it over with? You've already got all the necessary details anyway. Have you come up with your sector rangers and other governmental stats yet?

Something tells me no. And with all the smugglers, pirates, crimelords, and terrorists running around, he's gonna be busy.

I'm still trying to decide between a clawdite or an echani. I dunno which would be more fun to play with.
Not to mention, do you happen to knwo a ship much like the red dwarf? I could use a supersized mining ship, but i'd rather not have to make one of my own.

hmm... We don't have much info on mining boats, but EvilleJedi came up with some interesting designs for a mining ship for his Star Wars Warlords Mod. Warlords: Unnamed Mining ShipIt has docking ports for up to 16 mole miners and a pair of turbolaser cannons for defense against pirates. It can also process ore into materials which can be used in building and metallurgy. There's a hangar with an unknown capacity... probably about squadron's worth of space.

Same design just an updated model... You gonna use that. They're about... I wanna say around 200-250 meters long.

just a different color. one's "refinery" one's "miner" but it really doesn't matter. it's the same ship.
Crew probably less than 6, one pilot, one copilot, one navigator, coms/guns, and captain, then you have mining crew and others.

Any place we can find out such info as crew and weapons on this ship?

Two Echani and not a Mando in sight. Strange.

I haven't seen any stats that I know of for mining barge like that. Though I think Nelo's assessment is probably fair.
