Sai looked around. "No, this is the only coed spring... but there is a spot over there in the corner where no one is... it's a little seperate from everyone," she suggested, hoping that'd calm her down a little more. He wasn't quite sure if she knew of everyone around her, or how calm she was exactly, but he didn't want to ask; by asking, it was making throwing it out there. He ran a hand through his silvery hair, shutting his eyes for a moment; he didn't want to stretch for some reasons.

Kaori closed her eyes for a moment, then slowly stood up, still not looking around. "O-ok, let's head there?" she suggested, though it sounded more like a question. Still not wishing to look around at all, she simply opened her eyes, gaze still glued to the floor, and grabbed one of Sai's hands. She didn't say it aloud, too embarassed, but she wished for him to lead her to the slightly more hidden area. She winced slightly, feeling rather like a small child cilnging fearfully for support. She kept her head bowed as she tightened the towel more carefully around herself.

Sai nodded in understanding, feeling her hand. He gripped hers lightly, as well, and started towards the little area. He glanced behind him to make sure she was following him, trailing behind him. He smiled faintly; for some reason, he thought she looked really cute so embarrassed. After a minute or two, they arrived at the small area, a little curve in the spring blocking them mostly from view. "We're here," he said softly, turning to her.

Kaori trailed after him, head bowed to the ground and face flushed crimson still as her tail flicked nervously behind her, in eratic movements. She looked up without thinking as he announced they were there, but didn't let go of his hand right away. She almost felt a little afraid to. Kaori sighed quietly, staring around this new section of the hotsprings. Then she very hesitantly released him and crouched at the edge again, holding the towel to herself tightly as she ran her other hand through the water again. Her hair fell into her face but she made no move to fix it.

Sai smiled at her as he walked to her other side. He glanced down at the water for a moment before putting a foot in, not making a big splash. He shivered for a moment, looking away as the feeling reached his nerves, before regaining himself. "Very... hot...." he said, laughing as he placed his other foot in. He looked up at the sky for a moment; he hoped, of course, it wouldn't rain.

[Salior Moon was one of my first ever animes! xD]
Kaori frowned at the water, watching more ripples reach her other than the ones she was making, she glanced beside herself, seeing Sai sticking his feet slowly in. She grinned and tilted her head. "Too hot for you?" she laughed, hearing his comment and seeing him shiver. As he glanced up, she did too, wondering if he'd seen something. After a moment, she turned back towards the water and sat down on the side. Then, in one swift movement, she slipped in feet first, making hardly a splash. She went in her to neck before her hand went out and caught the side to stable herself. She shuddered once, short and quick, and then smiled. "It's not that bad," she murmured, knowing it was mostly because she was a fire demon. She had a natural resistance to heat.

Sai laughed. "Are you trying to say something?" he asked, stepping down once more; the water came up to a small way below his shoulders as he looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Point is," he smirked, "is that you shivered too." He didn't mean it in a mean way, but jokingly; he hoped she wouldn't take it the wrong way. He slowly made his way over to her, the water pushing against him, stopping by her side. He smiled faintly at her, suddenly feeling that everything above the water was freezing.

Kaori shook her head. "Well yeah, but... It takes a while to kick in," she said earnestly, and then added, "Besides, it was only a second." She smiled at him, sinking to her chin. Her face seemed to automatically flush red as he approached her, but she didn't move away and her smile didn't fade. She held her towel firmly to herself still, hair floating around her in the water. Then she breathed out slowly, tilting her head. "It's reallly... nice," she murmured, looking around. She felt the sudden urge to swim. It was more than big enough to!

Sai laughed, hearing her. "Yeah, I guess you're right," he admited. He looked down at her as she sunk, raising a brow. "Something...wrong?" he asked, bringing his hand back before foward quickly, trying to splash her in the face; she was almost already under the water anyway. He felt a sudden tug at the back of his brain, looking around for a moment, before smiling back at Kaori, wondering what she'd do for revenge.

Kaori laughed, nodding. "Of course I am!" she grinned childishly, head still tilted lightly. "No, I'm fine..." Her eyes widened slightly as she saw him preparing to splash, and she quickly shut them and turned her head, but was still hit full the right side of her face. She wiped it off quickly, then pushed her hand through the water towards him, making a small wave headed in his direction. She she bit her lip, holding her breath to see if she'd hit. She laughed suddenly even before anything had happened, then quickly clamped a hand over her mouth.

Sai laughed, seeing her splash, and lowered himself. He was hit full blast in the face, grinning. "There, now I'm small enough to get hit," he teased; the wave didn't come to high up. "Is it really that funny?" he asked, laughing, watching as some water dripped from his wet hair, making five rippled circles in front of him. He looked over at her, wondering if she was going to send another splash at him; if she was, he'd stay down at that hight.

Kaori kept her mouth covered, seeing him duck to make sure he was hit. She felt like she was cheating, or maybe he was cheating so he'd lose...? She laughed again, not bothering to think it through. "Y-yes!" she stammered, lost in a fit of giggles. She probably would have tried to splash him again if she wasn't loosing her breath from laughing too much. She felt like she couldn't stop, and couldn't remember the last time she'd laughed like this. Except for the lack of air, it felt really good.
At one point, she distracted herself enough that she sunk under the water for a few seconds, then came back up sputtering before starting right back up with her laughter. She covered her face entirely with both hands, first making sure the towel was tucked securely, and bowed her head slightly as she tried to quiet herself, but continously failed.

Sai found the laughter contagious, in a way. He, too, started to laugh after a few moments. "W-why are you laughing?" he asked, putting a hand on her head. "It's like you can't stop," he said, trying to calm himself down. She continued to laugh, however, so he started up again; it was true. Things, like laughter and smiling, were contagious and spread quickly. He brought a hand to his eye, wiping away a small tear that had formed.

Done floating, Zaira got out of her floating position and began to tread water. After going under the water and dolphin-kicking over to the edge where her towel was, she got out of the water and wrapped the towel around her swimsuit-clad body. Shivering, she decided to dry off first, but keep her feet in the water. So, she sat down, teeth chattering, and dangled her feet in the steamy water. She started to hum to herself to get her mind off of the cold.

"Wh-why are you l-laughing?" Kaori stammered in reply, still covering her face with both hands. She couldn't stop! Slowly, she began breathing in and out, breaths shaky but slowly letting the laughter fade. After a short while longer, she seemed to have recovered herself, and kept her eyes on the water's surface, not wanting to see anything that'd make her loose it again. A wide grin was plastered across her face though, and she couldn't get rid of it. She chuckled very quietly again, but managed to stop it before it spread and increased.
