To this very moment, Kiki wondered why the group thought she enjoyed near-death experiences, let alone solving their pproblems for them.

"WATCH OUT? THERE IS A GIANT GREEN AHHHHHHH!!"
Kiki shouted out to her, about to scold her before her boat was flipped.
Kiki jumped into the airand tried to land on the upturned boat, but it was too slippery, she fell into the watertrying to grab the aliigator's pressed together snout to keep it down.

Shef glanced behind him to regard Marina, the weird cat-girl-type-person-thing-being-beast-type-person. Shef shook his head, splashing drops of water in all directions, before pushing his wet blond hair out of his eyes. Shef had managed to lose his hat and half of one shoe... somehow.
Shef neglected to answer Marina, and instead dove into the water, swimming with a powerful breaststroke. Recklessly and without thought for his own safety, Shef grabbed and towed Kiki towards shore. But his revelation was still within him.
When Shef, along with Kiki, reached shore and Marina once again, Shef stood and gulped in air for a few moments, before stating the simple fact: "We're not on the island."
Indeed... the group was now either on the shores of or just off of the shores of the Reimli side of the River Nanne. The water was fresh once again, without a trace of salt.
Apparently, the water had magical properties.... No, this was already evident. Apparently, the water had actively magical properties that worked in mysterious and unpredictable ways.
That was also evident, but... what do you want me to say?! The water was unusual, 'nuff said.

"To an island of some sort," Onstaan answered automatically. "I do not know where--I have never been."
Onstaan proceeded to attempt to insert his long neck and skull into the hollowed portion of the massive sequoia, but found that he could not. Closing his eyes, Onstaan began to glow--before his form suddenly disappeared, leaving a small lizard in the area below, on the ground.
This lizard made its way into the hollowed tree and headed straight for Calentine.

Calentine saw Onstaan long before he entered the room, and had face-palmed appropriately.
"Yes..." he croaked. "Now you're... in for it...."

Sometimes, when I'm sitting in my bedroom...
All ALONE... in the DARK...
I sometimes look up at the stars and wish I was them.
All ALONE... but in plain SIGHT...
But then I think of something...
.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.Alhiria rolled her eyes and sighed, ruffling her feathers. "Oh, lovely, an island," she murmured to herself. "Yes, that's a lovely way to start off. After all, how many islands are in the Nanne? Several thousand? Oh, yes, that cuts my search down by quite a bit, thank you..." pouting, she slid her relatively smaller head into the massive door and looked around with her eyes. "Oh, fellow Guardian!" She cooed in the direction Onstaan had gone. "Surely your Guarded knows a more precise location!" ----- Reign raised an eyebrow at Calentine before looking down at the lizard. "Hey," she greeted, relatively good-naturedly. "This yours?" ----- Floreta blinked as Marina scowled. Looks like that bumbling idiot has some use after all. The Neko thought sourly. "We... aren't?" Floreta breathed before she looked around as well. "So... where ARE we then?"  .x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.x.X.
It's really strange, I think...
When they're up there...
They're all ALONE. In the DARK. But everyone can SEE them...
It's strange when I look up at them...
Because they kinda remind me of YOU.

As Lucius watched there came a crashing sound behind him mingled with an infuriated roar. There were bits and pieces of insect-like clicking involved in the terrible noise. He spun around just soon enough to see Langsley's giant white form before she shoved him down with one great lance of a limb. "What were you thinking!?" She hissed, obviously infuriated.
Lucius trembled.

Zoey McClellen jumped, greatly startled by Langsley's introduction. She was also surprised by the appearance of the boy, though didn't make any connections as to why [she would be surprised].
Zaccheus appeared to be dead.

Kiki frowned.
She wasn't angry, but just confused. Being around a dramatic change of magic in the area made her wrists blue tinged, veins changed colour.
She was used to it, but why had the water moved.
Suddenly she missed the old man, and- her sense of direction.
"Thank you." She told Shef-Shed quietly, as he stated the obvious.
Somehow the obvious had never been so frightening.
Her nostrils flared at the challenge, her black brow furrowed.
Her biggest concern was where they were.
Was the alligator still there? She figured not.
Kiki had let go of her "rescuers" grasp and squinted t'wards the distance.

"You're welcome," Shef replied just as stiffly. He glanced around, more. Then performed a double-take as he pointed. "There's the bridge!" And indeed, to the east could be seen the bridge that would take them back to the Sylstern forest. Now, all the group needed was to find this giant tree-home of sorts. inhabited with gypsies and the like.

Onstaan opened his mouth to answer, but was interrupted by Calentine.
"Onstaan, you're late," he said flatly, staring at nothing in particular. "Hurry up and get me out of here. ...The old man has Harlin, and I need to go there." Obviously, secrets did not seem to matter any longer, as Calentine was confident that Onstaan could demolish the entire tree, with everyone still inside.
Onstaan merely nodded to answer Reign, now. He placed his temper in check and allowed himself to register as calm. They would find his voice to be as deep, booming, and resounding as ever. Finally, Onstaan said, "Unfortunately. Why... is he in something else's mouth, this time?"

Kiki shrugged.
She looked to the others for answers this time, hands on hips.
Her backpack contents were unfortunatly soaked. At least she wasn't the one to worry about briny chocolate- whatever that was.
