Synthic looked up at Leonard and nodded.
Amaranth felt a twinge of panic but she couldn't figure out why...Was it this man? "Come on Daniel. We're going too," No matter how much she hated Synthic, she still didn't like how this situation was playing out.

"Here," Lily said when they reached the door. It didn't matter if she couldn't see anything, she could feel their emotions and knew they were there.
Lydia nodded and broke the lock with her magic. Then she pushed the door open and prepared to charge at leonard.

"What the-?!" Amaranth stepped back and made sure Daniel was safe behind her. She placed a hand over the crystallis on her chest, "Dammit...shut up..." She muttered.
Synthic looked at the group coming in, "What's going on?!" She demanded, still standing next to Leonard.

Mana nodded. He began to pull the panic from Amaranth trying to focus it on Leonard.

"Synthic, get away from him," Lily cried to the scientist, following Lydia in. The girl still had a barrier surrounding the group. "He''s from the Academy!"
Light magic attacks began to form around Lydia.

Daniel peered out from behind Amaranth. The Academy? That place Synthic spoke about a lot. The horrible place she used to work. Daniel was confused now. Why did someone come for her now? He didn't speak though as he didn't understand really what was going on. He recognized Lily as they had met before back after he had just gotten his soul back from the angel eclipse. The others he wasn't too sure about.

Leonard scowled at them all. "My god, you people are annoying." Bringing his hand up, Leonard snapped, attempting to put synthic into a pocket reality. one she was there, it would be simple to escape.

Lydia created a barrier for herself and flew at Leonard. She tried to grab him and disrupt whatever he was trying to do to Synthic. That woman could help Kir and she was't about to just let him hurt her.

"Ah!" Synthic tried to move away from Leonard but she wasn't fast enough. She was trapped.
Amaranth made a blade materialize and aimed to slice Leonard's throat open.
(Gone for an hour. I'm posting between classes ^_^; )

Leonard grinned, then brought his claw hand up, catching the sword, while making his own sword appear, bringing it around. at the same time, a barrier appeared between himself and Lydia.

Lydia already had a magical beam charged up and shot it, full force, at Leonard's barrier. There were very few barriers that could stand up against it for a long amount of time. She was very close to activating.

Mana tried to pull out an emotion to stun Leonard. Something was there to make him grin, Mana tried to push away the victorious feeling and replace it with something else.

Leonard didnt give them a chance. letting go of the sword, Leonard turned on his heel, dove, doding Lydia's beam, and brought hsi claw to the wall of the room, pouring energy into it, causing the wall to explode into a hole large enough to get out of. diving through, Leonard spread his panels into wings, and took off, into the air, though still low to the ground, and away, disappearing out through the snowpeak tunnels. (Exits to Academy)

Amaranth stood there in shock. Kir was lifeless in Lily's arms. Synthic was taken right before their eyes. And she felt a chill that was telling her that something very bad was going to happen.
"No..." Her eyes were wide. What's going on?!
(Synthic exits to Academy)
(Back in about an hour and a half)
