Lucinda nodded, satisfied. "Good night, then," she said and moved to lie on the floor again.

"Good night." Renatus said, waiting for Lucinda to get off the bed. When she did, he layed back down and stretched himself out. This time he began to drift to sleep sooner than last time, and he yawned heavily.

Lucinda curled up on the bed roll again and closed her eyes to get back to sleep.

Renatus slipped into sleep with one final exhale. This time he slept soundly.

Renatus yawned awake. He lazily sat forward, scratching the back of his head. He stretched his arms and legs, then quietly got off the bed and crept around Lucinda. He walked into the other room, and began changing into his everyday clothes.

Renatus wrapped his belt around his waist and attached his saber. He walked to the front of the hut and stepped outside. He looked at the beginning of a day in the village. People were crawling out of their tents and basking in the sun. Renatus let out a deep sigh of nostalgia.

Lucinda woke not long after he left the hut. She sat up and saw that the bed was empty. Groaning, she got up and changed into fresh clothes. Then she went out of the room in search of breakfast.

Renatus shifted his mouth to the side, puckering his lips slightly. "Well..." he began trailing off at the end. He briefly looked around. I have food in my pack, but other than that we would have to go to the chief's hut for the feast. And i would imagine you remember his manners to us."

"I honestly don't feel like putting up with the chief today." Renatus said with a sigh. "I have plenty of food for you in my pack." he said, returning to his bag. He pulled out a small bag of bread and meat. He sat the foodbag on the table and walked to a small fireplace in the middle of the room. Above it was a hole in the ceiling obviously for the smoke to escape. He piled some wood on it, then exhaled a jet of flames catching the wood on fire. "Can you cook?" he asked Lucinda straightening himself.
