Altair laughed softly as he saw the old play again. his smile was as big as it was back then, when he wasn't such a broken assassin. he sat back and watched, happily following the two cranes.

Kir looked to Lily and nodded. Lily's golden crane lifted up from her pocket. It was then that he realized how many of these things he had made. They all fluttered and flew, providing them with some entertainment. Lydia's crane flew off and circled around her again while the golden one landed on her lap.
The scene playing before Altair eventually resolved with the two bickering cranes giving each other a hug.

Lydia looked a little panicky when the second crane came over to her. She didn't know wait was causing this and it was making her very nervous.
"You're giving my crane to another girl?" Lily teased Kir.

Altair awwwed when the two cranes made up. he then realized what he was missing in his heart and started to cry a little.

Kir made a alarmed expression to both Lily and Altair. He's making things worse!! He took out his book, "You'll find someone. I know you will," He wrote and gave the notebook to Altair. Now it was the girl's turn. Kir shrugged a little. The golden crane fluttered around on Lydia's lap and flew to land on Lily's shoulder. The other paper crane landed on Lydia's lap.

Lydia looked to Kir when the cranes moved. "Why are they... doing this?" she asked him, timidly.

Some magic sparks came from one of the magic cranes and spelled, "Magic," in the air in front of Lydia. He looked to her and winked, pointing to the letters.

Lydia was surprised by the letters and immediately threw up a barrier and cowered away from them. She missed Kir's gesture so she didn't know he was behind it.

Kir wished he could try and calm her down. He looked to Lily for help.

"Hey, Lydia," Lily said and reached out and touched the girl's barrier.
Lydia jumped back from the others and pressed her back against the wall. She was trying to get Neal to take over but he was telling her to calm down.

Mana laughed and looked at Lydia. "Its supposed to calm you down. Kir wasnt trying to scare you. He was playing" Mana smiled and gave Lydia a noticable reassuing feeling before leaving her alone.

Lydia looked almost angry at Mana and small shards of light magic formed around her hands when he started to mess with her emotions. The only people who laughed at her when she was scared were the bad scientists.

Kir felt the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. This might be tricky. He took the notebook from Altair and wrote something as fast as he could, "We are not going to hurt you. That magic was only for fun. It's supposed to be fun Lydia," He then held the book up and hoped Lily could add to it.

"Things are different here then they are in the Academy," Lily added, watching the girl, ready to move if she decided to attack someone. "You don't have to be so afraid here."
Lydia watched everyone closely. After a few moments, she let the light magic around her hands fade, but she kept her barrier up.

Kir sighed quietly. What a way to have him on edge before going to his hometown. The magic faded away and the cranes all went back to their respected places or vanished completely.
