((Milo and Otis are two characters from the movie 'My Girl'... I think. Or is it the animal version of it?... I don't remember. But Milo is the girl and Otis is the skinny geeky guy.))

Kay scratched her head, "I think I zoned out there toward the end..." she admitted. "Let's head back so we can get the other two down here... I just hope they're not both football playing farm boys. That could hurt." she said. Kay made it back to the canyon and shouted up. "You all looking for a way down? Jump and I'll catch ya!" she shouted up, already in a ready position to catch whoever jumped.

(( Milo and Otis was a movie kinda like homward bound. Milo was a kitten and Otis was a little puppy, I havnt seen that movie in forever tho LOL.))

Kay caught the first one and quickly put him down and caught the other one. "Yesh! What do they feed you guys?" she joked, heading in back toward the building. She lit another cigarette as they entered the building.

"Why don't you take both of them?" Kay said looking around at the messy and cluttered state of what was left of the building. "Somehow I think you are going need them to do alot of lifting..." she said commenting on the haphazard articles of furniture about.

Khana stirred groggily, still in the back of the car, completely oblivious to the last few hours. She laid there for a minute before slowly sitting up, but was unable to avoid the rush, spinning in her head. "Uuuughhhh" she groaned, looking around, trying to figure out where she was and why. She did not recognize the car she was in, and had no clue why it was with the convoy. In fact, the last thing she remembered was shooting dead-heads and almost Kimmi as well. She chuckled, regretting it instantly, placing her hand to her head and tried to stop the spinning.
After a few moments to recover, she got out of the car and walked carefully, finally feeling no more than a throbbing head ache and and grumpy. To everyone else's distress, that was enough.

Zack heard Khana get out of the car, but he still didnt move. he felt as if evry part of him was on fire. "Why the hell did you do that?" asked a voice in the back of his head. "youve never risked this much skin for anyone before." it stated. "what is life without sacirfice" another answered. "We live in a world wher hope is nill and helping someone else, without asking in return is unheard of. To try and give both of those things is what will change things for the better." said the voice. Zack listined and watched the two voices fight over how he should live. As he watched his memories returned to those of when the outbreak first hit his home.

Kay couldn't help but feel a small bit of pity for the other scouts, as Skie dragged them to hard labor. Absently walking the halls, just kind of turning down what ever hallway caught her attention. She finished her first cigarette and lit another, she really didn't have alot of need for light since her eyes were pretty much adjusted to the dim lighting. Kay stopped when she came upon a wall of glass. Looking into the roof she saw what looked like to be an old lab, one that hadn't been used in so long that its equipment had desenigrated. Curious, she walked into the lab to take a look around.

Zack squirmed in his sleep as the memories came in frightining vividness. he was ten at the time, his brother was five. his family was in a town that had yet to be swarmed. it was night out his father was out on patrol duty. him and some of the other kids had been hearing stories about what was going on but the parents reassured them that every thing was ok. Him and his brother Tyler were playing in the living room when there mom came running. "Quick grab some food and lets go." she said trying not to sound scared. "What is it mom" Zack had asked. "nothing dears" she said. suddenly screaming could be heard from somewhere in town. Tyler started crying and mother picked him up. "were to late" she moaned as she raced to the door. she opened it and there was dad. but he looked diffrent. Zack remebered. his eyes seemed to glow with a evil light and he was covered in blood. "Daddy" wailed Tyler. 'God help us." mother muttred. "Run ZACK RUN FOR YOUR LIFE." she yelled as the father attacked biting Zacks mother on the neck. she dropped tyler who ran to Zack. They ran, for how long they dont know. but everything they knew came to a halt.
