Pixie raised her chin, her hair falling back to show her pointed ears. " i am an adult of my kind, i will not age until another 200 years." she was determind to hate him, but his mind was alot like her's and it made it harder. finaly she sighed, leaning against the wall and watching him tierdly. " i cant hate you, because i understand exactly what you are saying.. but that does not mean im an allie or friend to you." true to her sprite nature, her mind worked as a preditor's. she had to make it clear where he stood. " i wont attack you, or cause any grief unless you start it."

Pixie just tossed her hair over her shoulder and noded, showing wordlessly that she didnt care how he acted. pulling a small hand gun from her bag she rolled it between her palms, stareing at it curiusely. she had niped it from Quin, who probibly knew and let her do it, and wanted to figure out how to work it. "he held it like this... " she slid her finger into the trigger and pulled, a loud hiss echoing as a symbol hit on the farthest wall. with a yelp she droped it and backpeddled, trying to get away from the gun. furiusly she glared at the wepon, it was far more leathel then a normal gun. if hit by the beam nothing could move until the shooter said other wise, it was old magic and Quin knew how she felt about them. " a holding spell... he said he got rid of these damn things! im going to kill that thief, then let him come back so i can kill him again." murmering to herself she inched forward and snagged her bag, barely hideing her fear of the gun. she had been shot by one, and still had nightmare's about it. she hadnt been able to move, and for a sprite imprissonment was hell on earth.

she inched until he was between her and the gun she had droped, never takeing her eyes off the thing as she murmerd. " i didnt mean for it to hit near you.. Quin told me these were normal and on safty..." disgust entered her voice and she closed her eyes. " its not my gun, i dont need guns to do things... and now i know why Sark dislike's them." Pixie kept her hands behind her back, knowing they were shakeing badly. most things from this world frightened her, but it was not nessisary to broadcast it to everyone. forceing herself forward she picked the gun up, then droped it into her bag with the rest of her collected things.

her stubron streak kicked in and she raised an eyebrow at him. Pixie did not like giveing in on a challenge, and she walked past him to the wall. running a finger over the damaged area she sighed softly. " powerful wepon. i would say sorry for almost hitting you.. but i already did." and the look on his face had been priceless.. but she wasnt going to tempt him to take revenge so she kept her mouth shut about that.

stretching she let her wings fade into her back, looking at the door as she frowned. " stupid vampire..." she growled, grabing her bag without a second thought and takeing off out the door. she didnt say a thing to Lanius, figureing she would talk if they met up again. Pixie had a feeling that the vampire gaurd was not a good person to have on the loose.. she knew far to many things to let that knoledge die.

About a week later, he was still waiting. Everytime some one questioned him, he either ignored them or simply stated he needed to speak with Edward. None the less, people became more use to his presence, reguardless of how cold. Still, Lanius managed to occasionally break into and read all the recent and old documents, finding not much more productive to do with his time. When he was gone and not doing this, he was studying books on different topics, such as war, methods of torture, anatomy of different species, psychology, current law, ext.

Lanius, days later, sat ontop of the roof of the building. Looking up at the sky and grinning to himself. He didn't come to me, so I went to him... the fool. Inside, all the members that had been non-human or against him were dead, and several more people who had remained loyal to him were cleaning up the mess. If anyone asks about the deaths, of course... it was an attack by lycans, thus explaining the bloody mess. One member walked outside and quickly bowed, telling him they were already completely finished. "Hmm.... good. Now inform the families, you know the story. And Edward is still alive and in charge, avoiding injury in the fight and saving the remaining members." With that, the man left, and Lanius remained on the roof... looking up at the sky,

He heard the yelp, so some one is here. Lanius stood up, then leaned down from the roof, looking into the window. Seems my men knew she has arrived, and most have already left to the Outerlands HQ... the ones left can deal with her, if not, it proves as no loss. He then reached out, taking hold of the edge of the window, and pulled himself down so he was standing on it. Lanius then held onto the guttering, and kicked the window glass in, afterward crawling inside. Might as well tell the guest hello, or atleast pass her by. Raising his hand up, he fixed his hair then walked downstairs to where Resa was. Seeing two of his men on the floor, he raised one eyebrow and walked over to them, kneeling down a few feet away from Resa. "Hmm... not exactly clean-cut in nature, are we? Say your name and reason."
