Sintariun's amethyst eyes raised to see Liah. It felt like forever since she'd seen her friend as well as Asteria and Damon. The elf didn't have to know what Liah was saying to know what she was asking, her worried expression said it all. About to reply, Sin noticed a male eyeing Liah and then coming up to stand beside her.
Recognizing him to be the one that had been in the spring, Sintariun just waved with no hard feelings, from what she'd seen the male's act had been unintentional so he was in the clear with her as far as she was concerned. However, if this guy ever hurt Liah in any way, shape, or form Sintariun would track this male down and make sure he felt her pain ten times over.
Returning to looking at Liah, the elf softly said, Dwi nori irf dwod hoz hedw ni, Zaid, wi'z nu patujyolt omt rozd mejwd hi jad em o fejwd. Wi rifd E kom'd femt wen omuhwili omt E dwemc wi'z not od ni. E tam'd cmah hwod da ta pikoyzi E tam'd cmah wah wi fiirz od dwi nanimd. Orr E kom liorru ta ez ciib jaemj falholt omt zovi nu falizd, ed jyzd hayrt'vi piim meki da wovi wen olaymt. Folding her arms, Sin leaned on the table to rest her head behind them as saddness and confusion swirled in her eyes.
Zaid watched his white puffs of air leave him and the elf stared into the black abyss of the snow that was constantly hounding him. Already snow was packed onto his shoulders but luckily his cape allowed him to brush it off easy. It was so stupid of him to think he could try and persuade Sin to come with him, he saw that now but he couldn't be by her side now.
Their little argument had caused him to question why he was here, for the sake of his people or for his own personal gain. Wrapping the blanket securely around his figure, Zaid leaned against the trunk of a pine tree, allowing him some cover from the white blanket beyond.

xXGrey_MoonfangXx Sighing slightly, already annoyed, Ramiel rose from the spring and left, grabbing his cloths on the way out. It was surprising how fast he managed to get his pants back on. Passing by Roe's room, he slipped a note under her door, reading:
Meet me at the Dragon's Head Tavern The food's on me
-Ramiel
After that, already fully dressed he was out the door, hood covering his head as he headed for the Tavern.((sorry for my absence, real life sucked me away. I got my first apartment though which is awesome....and closer to work too! ^^)) Roe didn't see the note until after her bath, she hadn't heard it slip under the door under the running bath water. She frowned, listening for anyone lingering on the other side of her door. She heard nothign and approached cautiously, swiping up the note. Amethyst eyes flickered over the writing and she growled again, What did he want? Feeding her, was he? She crumpled up the note and tossed it towards the refuse basket, discounting the invitation. Her stomach chose that oppurtunity to growl back at her irritably. She froze in the midts of putting on a shirt.
"Damn..." She sighed and finished dressing before heading out of her room and towards the tavern.

Liah tilted her head to the side, unsure of what Sintariun had said. Language barriers were hard to adjust to, and she was now wishing Asteria had stayed. Luckily for her, her companions had been listening and Damon spoke through their link.
"She told you about her Elfen friend, Zaid who is no longer with the group." He said so that both the girls could understand. "She would rather he not have left."
Liah looked at Sin, realizing why she was so upset. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked her, having Damon translate. He wasn't too far away, which meant that Sin could hear him.
As this conversation was going on, Asteria realized that the female elf really did want the other to stay. The graceful bird flew straight into the wind, having seen a figure not too far away. It was tough, the snow tossing her around like a doll, but she finally made it to the one called Zaid and landed with some difficulty a short distance away. "Why are you out here?" She questioned, knowing the answer already.

Zaid turned over from his curled position, opening his silver eyes to the bird before him. He recalled seeing this one with the group and then it came back to him. The girl with the animal friends, this one was one of them. Holding out his arm for her to climb on, the elf placed a piece of meat in front of her beak. "You wish to know why I am here? It is because I can be of no further assistance to the one that I have pledged my sword and my heart to."
Sin looked out to the big wolf and a small smile spread on her face. Damon may act tough and uncaring but Sin liked the posing brute for being a wonderful creature. Hearing the wolf translate, Sintariun looked to Liah and without saying a word, hugged her friend. Stifling her sobs, the elf maiden's frame still shook in worry and sorrow for the loss of her friend, she just needed comfort and someone to talk to.

Asteria hopped onto his outstreched hand, being careful not to pierce him with her talons. She studied the meat for a moment, deciding it would be rude of her to turn it away. She had just had a vole from a river not far away. When she was finished swallowing, she turned her attention back to the elf. "I do believe you are mistaken, elf." Asteria said with a soft tone that was still sure. "The girl you speak of needs you now more than ever." She took an image from Damon's mind and showed the Elf. It was of Liah comforting the weeping Sin. "Why else would she be so sorrowful? She would like the company of someone from her homeland, especially while we are on our next journey."
Liah looked a bit startled when her friend started to weep. She hugged Sintariun in a comforting way, knowing she could not provide the kind of comfort she needed. She needs Zaid. she thought to herself, allowing Damon and Asteria to hear her thoughts too.

Sintariun held onto her friend seeking any comfort and then pulled away wiping her eyes. Trying a word she'd heard, the elf murmured a soft, "S-sawr-sorry." The maiden then wrapped her arms around herself and sat in the chair trying to make herself as small as possible.
Zaid gazed at the bird on his arm as she spoke and was about to argue when Asteria revealed to him a vision of Sin crying. "I have reason to believe that it isn't me that she is weeping for but for her people and the possibility of her success. She doesn't need a distraction like me in the way." Opening a cloth revealing some more meat if the bird wished to eat more if not it didn't matter. "Can you keep a secret, Asteria?"

Liah nodded. "I am sorry, Sin. I can't be of much help to you." Damon translated. She watched as her friend moved toward the elf and put his nose on her arm, a show of comfort that was extremely unusual.
Asteria seemed to sigh, somewhat tired of his excuses. "Do you not think she needs a long time friend from her homeland to be with her? She is amongst strangers of all different races, she needs to be reminded of companionship from her own kind." She paused, letting that sink in. "You say you have pledged yourself to her, what I see now is someone running away. If you truly wanted what was best, you would ignore what she says she wants and continue to be available for her. Even if she says she doesn't want you, it would be better to let her know that you're there for her, and not absent alltogether." At the end of her long speech, she finally answered his question. "Yes, I am not one to tell what is not my right to say."

Sintariun raised her head as she felt something on her arm and saw Damon. Wrapping her arms around the wolf, the elf buried her face in his soft coat crying softly some more. Dwomc uay, Damon Sintariun didn't know what to do, she wanted her friend but it's not like she could go search for him, she'd be left behind.
Zaid lowered his gaze, "She needs Azurai, I've seen how she acts with the rogue, I see more affection and awe towards that man then she does me. She's never looked at me like that. She's better off with him, Azurai is her kin. I don't get why she cries, maybe if the vagabond showed up more she wouldn't be." Zaid nearly snarled at the thought of that rogue getting near the female elf.
On the last part, Zaid stated, "I want to have a stronger bond then just friendship with her, I always have, she just doesn't know it. With this new character it seems to be a waste of time now, she wants his attention not mine."
(Thank you, Damon)

Damon allowed the girl to cry into his fur for a while, giving some thought to an idea he had. "Sintariun." He said in a deep, rumbling voice. "You wish to have this elf back, do you not?" He asked. It was a rhetorical question so he continued. "I believe only you can convince him to return. If you want to keep him, I would suggest you allow me to take you to him." To anyone who knew Damon, they would be shocked at his kindness. He generally didn't show such kindness to outsiders.
Asteria would have scoffed if she were able to. "That Elf is too unreliable to be any comfort to her. Are you willing to let someone unfit take over the position you want? I believe that you are afraid of what she might say. If you truly wanted that kind of relationship, you will never have the chance if you run away." As she spoke, she listened to Damon's speech back at the Inn. It was a good idea, she hoped the girl would accept.

Pulling back, Sintariun looked Damon in the eyes as she listened to his proposal. Nodding vigorously about going to Zaid, Ta uay cmah hwili wi ez? The elven maiden looked to Liah and a spark of hope lit in her eyes. She could get her friend back.
Zaid nearly seethed and his jaw clenched at Asteria's words. "As I said, it's a lost cause have you seen how we act around each other? Not anything like your friend Liah and that mist guy, yes I've seen the way they act toward one another and don't try to argue on that point you know it as well as I do."

Damon nodded, not saying anything else. He turned on the spot and started heading for the woods, slowly at first so that the elf could jump on. He wasn't one for waiting, so she would have to move quickly to climb on. "Come." He invited, "Climb on my back, I will take you to him."
Liah watched Damon move on, she looked at her friend and smiled encouragingly. "Go." She said, motioning with her hands. "Go bring him back."
Asteria ruffled her feathers with impatience, obviously annoyed that he was being so stubborn. "Liah and Seirei are becoming closer because both know how the other feels. If Sintariun realized that you were harboring these secret feelings, she would realize her own feelings for you. I am not ignorant to the ways and emotions of humans, elves, or any other creature. We are all similar, and we all feel similar things!" It was rare for her to show this much emotion, she realized she was getting heated from the discussion. After a moment, she relaxed and gathered her bearings. "What if I told you that Sintariun was on her way here to bring you back because you were mistaken about her feelings. She wants you Zaid, not that insufficient rouge. This is your chance to confront her and tell her your true feelings, or at least let her know that you want her around." The beautiful bird chirped once and took off to a nearby limb, checking on Damons progress. "Or, if you would rather continue running away, now would be the time to do so."

Without a second thought, Sintariun ran after Damon and leaped onto the wolf's back. Briozi, doci ni da wen, doci ni da nu fleimt. Ducking low against Damon's fur, Sin hung on knowing the wolf was going to be moving fast momentarily. Glancing back at Liah, Sin knew she'd under this, a sincere smile to her friend then looked toward where Damon and her were headed.
Zaid locked his piercing silver gaze on the winged creature before him. "She's royalty, I'm nothing but a guard." The elf froze at her next statement about Sin headed this way and looked out to weather beyond. "She's coming here?" Looking up to where the bird perched, Zaid didn't know what to do....
(Please, take me to him, take me to my friend.)

As soon as Damon felt her securely on his back, he took off with enormous speed through the forest. The cold wind stung his muzzle and forced him to squint as he ran. Still, he reached the place where Asteria had told him Zaid was in good time. "It's up to you now." He said to her, leaning down for her to dismount after coming to a stop. "Tell him what's on your mind."

Sintariun shivered thanks to the cold weather as Damon ran and huddled close to his fur to try and keep warm. Finally reaching where Zaid was said to be, Sintariun curled her arms around herself and looked at a huge pine tree and found that two branches were pulled away as almost a doorway.
Getting inside, the elf heard a chirp and glanced up at Asteria and then her teal eyes went to Zaid who quickly knelt in front of her. "Since when did you start formalities, Zaid?" The male elf glanced up for a moment only to look down and Sintariun walked up to him and squatted in front of him. The elven maiden cupped Zaid's cheek and made him look up at her. "Why did you leave?" Instead of waiting for an answer, Sintariun wrapped her arms around her friend and hugged him close.
Zaid's steel eyes widened as Sin held onto him and hesitantly, the male wrapped his arms around her as well as his cloak to warm her. "Sin, I just thought you'd be better without me, less distract-" A hand went across Zaid's face making him look at Sin who'd slapped him and started at seeing tears in her eyes.
"Don't you dare leave me like that again, got it? You're coming with me, that's an order as your princess and your friend." Sintariun kissed Zaid's cheek, then tugged on his arm. Casting her gaze at Asteria, the elf said, "We'll be on our way back," then she lead Zaid to Damon. "Damon, could you carry him, I can follow you as a panther."

Damon nodded. "Why don't you both get on. Its not necessary for you to run behind, princess." If he could grin, he would, but Damon was skilled at hiding his emotions. "Besides, you would be warmer that way." He added while turning his back to the wind and kneeling down for them to mount.
